Pelagos - beachfront accommodation for couples in Carbis Bay

The bright and airy lounge has beautiful limed oak flooring and  two chocolate leather sofas. This seating allows guests to enjoy uninterrupted panoramic views across the bay to both St Ives and Godrevy Lighthouse. Barbara Hepworth and Ben Nicholson reproductions adorn the walls in keeping with the history of the property.

For entertainment there is a wall mounted 42" HD ready plasma screen with BT Vision and Blu Ray DVD player. Wireless internet is available throughout the apartment.

A glass dining table with 2 chairs enables guests to enjoy meals whilst looking out to sea.

The kitchen of Pelagos has been fully refurbished for 2012 to include brand new units and stunning granite work tops. Stand at the sink and enjoy stunning views directly out to sea and Godrevy Lighhouse. Guests will find an excellent range of integrated Siemens appliances: an oven, touch control hob, microwave, dishwasher, fridge/freezer and washer/dryer. Other equipment includes a DeLonghi espresso machine, a cafetiere, toaster and range of utensils to allow self catering in style.

For guests who prefer to eat out, Carbis Bay offers some superb restaurants within walking distance including La Casita and the famous Becks fish and chip restaurant. A short train ride away in St. Ives you will find The Porthminster Cafe, Sea Grass, The Seafood Cafe, The Porthmeor  Cafe, Blas Burger Bar and many others - a wide choice to appeal to any appetite.

Boutique chic combines with contemporary style in the bedroom at Pelagos. A huge fitted wardrobe with mirrored sliding doors provides a wealth of storage space, whilst boudoir style furniture and accessories add a touch of glamour. The comfortable king size bed is made up with high quality white bed linen. This light and airy room has blinds and dress curtains over the patio doors which open onto a south facing decked terrace which is a real suntrap.

A hairdryer is provided along with a selection of towels for each guest.

The bathroom is located next to the bedroom and is fully tiled and has a  feature Fired Earth mosaic wall, complimented by chrome fittings. There is a WC with soft close seat, basin and steel bath with overhead shower and screen. The large mirrored cabinet contains a shaver point and has LED lights. The under floor heating with touch screen controls, and chrome towel rail provide warmth.

A selection of luxurious towels is provided for each guest.

The outside space at Chy-nn-Kerris provides a wealth of options for guests.  These facilities are shared between just the four apartments located in Chy-nn-Kerris house.

Pelagos has its own private patio balcony off the master bedroom, a bistro set is provided for guests to idle the time away in the sunshine.

On the seaward side, to the front of Chy-an-Kerris, are two comfortable sun loungers perfectly positioned to drink in the views over the stunning sub-tropical gardens.  The superb 180 degree coastal back drop is simply jaw-dropping.  Here guests can see from St. Ives right across to Hayle Towans and Godrevy Lighthouse.

To the rear of the property, is a shared decked courtyard garden area with superior quality garden furniture.  This courtyard is a real sun-trap and provides a comfortable place to relax after a busy day out exploring the Cornish coastline.

Drying facilities are provided within Pelagos itself, however a shared external washing line is also available on the seaward side of the property.

One allocated parking space is provided.

It also connects to St Erth and Penzance to mainline UK stations including Paddington, London.
