Lounge

Capstan has a spacious lounge with comfortable two and three seater settees, 32" LCD TV including SKY Sports with full package and a DVD player, CD/MP3/radio Hi-fi system. The lounge opens to Capstan's terrace patio with table and chairs. Enjoy the spectacular views across Carbis Bay to St Ives in one direction and to Godrevy Lighthouse in the other.

There is a "Welcome Book" packed with information about Carbis Bay and the varied attractions of St Ives and the surrounding area. You will also find O.S. maps, walks, pub and restaurant guides, as well as a selection of games, books, and DVDs. You can also enjoy your own music by plugging your MP3's or Ipod into the CD/MP3/radio Hi-fi system. Freeview TV and wireless internet are also provided along with a games station.

Dining Room

Capstan is furnished in luxurious style, the spacious separate dining room comfortably seats 4 people allowing you to relax and enjoy your meals in comfort.

You are rather spoilt for choice with the number of quality restaurants nearby, some do offer a takeaway service alternatively, you can prepare your own meal at home and enjoy comfort of your apartment. On warmer days of course you may choose to dine "al fresco".

Capstan has a fully fitted modern kitchen with NEFF cooker, hob, built in fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washer/dryer, toaster, kettle, microwave, and everything else you would expect from an apartment of this quality. There won't be any arguments in this kitchen about washing up as you just load up the dishwasher, as there is ample cutlery and crockery.

Bedroom One with En-suite

The master bedroom of Capstan has wardrobe, bedside cabinets and a chest of drawers so you'll have plenty of storage space. Watch colour TV from your comfortable king size bed. You have the same spectacular views as the lounge - wake up in the morning and throw the curtains open and enjoy the view across Carbis Bay to St. Ives.

Bedroom Two

The second bedroom of Capstan is fitted with twin beds, wardrobes, chest of drawers, and a colour TV/DVD. This quiet room will ensure that you sleep well after those long walks on the beach and cliffs.

Bath sheet, bath towel and hand towel are provided per person.

Bathroom One

The main bathroom of Capstan has a wash basin, WC, bath and overhead shower. There is a heated towel rail and modern bathroom fittings.

Bathroom Two

The en-suite to the master bedroom of Capstan has a wash basin, WC, heated towel rail and shower. A bath sheet, bath towel and hand towel are provided per person and, although we provide weighing scales, you don't have to use them; this is your holiday to relax.

Your own terrace is accessible from Capstan's lounge. Here you can enjoy a leisurely breakfast, lunch or dinner whilst enjoying those fabulous views across Carbis Bay to St. Ives. St. Ives Bay is one of the few to be given the award "Most Beautiful Bays in the World" - it is well deserved. To the front of Capstan, there is also a delightful communal terrace area which provides the opportunity to share your travel experiences with other guests', enjoy the stunning panoramic views, sunbathe or just relax.

Carbis Bay

The coastal railway links St Ives to Penzance and is perhaps one of the most scenic rail journeys in the UK.  The rail journey from Carbis Bay to St Ives takes about 4 minutes. It also connects to St Erth and Penzance to mainline UK stations including Paddington, London.
