Many an hour can be whiled away watching the coastal comings and goings from the delightful covered balcony of this apartment. It's also a just a short walk down to the beach and up to the local pubs and restaurants of Carbis Bay.

Living Area
Lounge
Longships has a beautifully furnished lounge with creature comforts such as throws and a coal effect gas fire to make your stay cosy whether you visit in Summer or Winter. There is a large, comfortable sofa and two chairs plus a 32" Samsung TV with Freeview, a DVD player and Playstation 2. The lounge is light and airy and has fantastic views. The space can be extended further by opening up the patio doors to the covered patio.
To help you explore Cornwall, the coffee table contains a "Welcome Book" packed with information about Carbis Bay, St Ives and other popular Cornish attractions. You will also find O.S. maps, information on local walks and places of interest, pub and restaurant guides and a selection of board and Playstation games, books and DVDs.
Dining Room
The dining room has a table which accommodates a six place setting and has a Teac Music System with CD / MP3 and built in Ipod docking station so that you can listen to your choice of music in this home from home. The dining room is ideally positioned with large double glazed windows to allow you to enjoy the view from Carbis Bay across to Hayle Towans and Godrevy lighthouse. A great space for entertaining.
You are rather spoilt for choice with the number of quality restaurants nearby; some also offer a takeaway service. Travel further afield to Jamie Olivers Fifteen restaurant in Watergate Bay, or one of Rick Stein's eateries in Padstow. Do remember to book in advance to avoid disappointment.
Kitchen
Apartment Longships has a fully integrated kitchen with split level cooker, hob, microwave, dishwasher, washer / dryer, built in fridge and separate freezer, toaster, kettle, coffee machine and everything else you would expect from apartment of this quality. Although there is a separate dining area to Longships, the kitchen benefits from a breakfast bar seating two for more casual dining and has a large double glazed window with a rear aspect to a patio area.
Longships is conveniently located for the train station and Carbis Bay Beach nearby and if you choose not to cook, it is only a short walk to the restaurants of Carbis Bay such as Becks and La Casita or a short train ride to St Ives to sample the delights that it has to offer.
Sleeping
Bedroom One with En-Suite
The master bedroom has a large built in wardrobe, bedside chest of drawers and a dressing table with further drawers so you will have plenty of storage space. There is an LCD TV and DVD player if you prefer to relax and watch TV from your comfortable bed. Hair dryer provided.
The master bedroom benefits from an en-suite shower room.
Bedroom Two
The second bedroom of Longships has twin beds, a bedside chest of drawers and a dressing table with further drawers. There is also a large walk in wardrobe so you will have plenty of storage space. There is a CD player for your entertainment. A travel cot and high chair is provided for infants at no additional cost although we do ask that you bring your own bedding.
The second bedroom benefits from an en-suite WC.
Bathrooms
Bathroom One
There is a family bathroom with bath with overhead shower, heated towel rail, WC and wash basin. In addition, both bedrooms in Longships are en-suite and are fitted to a high standard.
Bathroom Two
The en-suite to the master bedroom comprises a wash basin, WC, heated towel rail and a power shower.
Bathroom Three
The en-suite to the second bedroom has a wash basin, and WC.
A bath sheet, bath towel and hand towel are provided per person together with complimentary White Company soaps.
Outside
The covered patio area is an attractive feature of Longships. The patio contains a bistro table and chairs and is ideal for a leisurely glass of wine with spectacular views of Carbis Bay from St Ives across to Godrevy Lighthouse. Enjoy those balmy evenings watching the sun set over the horizon.
The patio has railings to the front and is perfectly safe for children. We do however recommend that children are accompanied at all times. Longships has good parking facilities with space for a visitor.
