Bosbrea - Penreen Apartments

Living Area

When you arrive at Bosbrea you are welcomed into a large hallway with a piano for guests' use and a bookcase full of books for you read during your stay.  You are immediately drawn to the open plan living area and its wonderful double French doors which lead out onto your own private balcony.  The living area is purposefully designed to make the most of the stunning sea views, with a double red leather sofa and two arm chairs placed in front of the doors.  Fully carpeted, with neutral décor which gives this lovely apartment a bright and airy feel. Light also streams in from the two additional windows which are at either side of the property.  A 40” LCD Freeview television is provided along with DVD player, iPod docking station and complimentary Wi-Fi. A sideboard houses a selection of DVD’s, board games and local information.

Dining Area

The dining area is ideally situated between the living area and kitchen, making the most of the sea views through the French doors.  A dining table and four chairs are provided, along with two bar stools which are placed next to the kitchen island, thereis also a bistro set on the balcony for alfresco dining.  Carbis Bay and St Ives offer a wonderful selection of restaurants and takeaways.  Take a look at our Welcome Guide which can be found in the property for our recommendations. 

The kitchen is located within the open plan living space.  The sea views can also be enjoyed from here, with an additional window to let in the fresh Cornish air.  The contemporary kitchen offers ample storage within its gloss white units and has sleek black granite work tops and a superb island unit.  Two bar stalls are placed around this island, perfect for grabbing a quick snack or talking to the designated chef.  Integrated dishwasher, fridge/freezer, washer/tumbler, Neff oven-grill and Neff microwave are provided along with a ceramic Neff hob and extractor.  Wood effect flooring is laid throughout and a good selection of utensils and appliances, such as toaster, kettle and filter coffee machine to help make you feel at home.

Bedroom One

Located next to the family bathroom, overlooking the front of the property, the master bedroom offers a comfortable king size bed with crisp white bed linen, bedside tables with matching lamps, triple wardrobe, chest of drawers, mirror and arm chair.  The fresh, neutral décor continues into this room and is carpeted throughout.  A wall mounted digital LCD/DVD television and hairdryer are also provided.

Bedroom Two

The twin bedroom is located in the centre of the property, ideally situated for a quite nights sleep.  Furnished with two single divan beds and solid oak bedside table with matching lamps, tallboy chest of drawers, double wardrobe with additional drawer storage, mirror and chair.  Carpeted throughout, with a window looking to the side of the property.  A wall mounted television is also provided for your entertainment.

A cot and high chair are available for our younger guests. We do ask however that you provide your own bedding for the travel cot.

All bedrooms come with quality beds, mattresses, cotton bed linen, hair driers, and ample towels are provided throughout, except beach towels which are unfortunately not provided.

The family bathroom is spacious and is tiled throughout.  A white Villeroy & Boch suite has been installed comprising of W.C., freestanding wash hand basin and bath.  An integrated shower can be found over the bath, with chrome fixtures and fittings and glass shower screen.  A chrome heated towel rail is provided along with a shaver point, mirror and storage cabinet.

A bath sheet, bath towel and hand towel are provided for each guest, together with complimentary White Company toiletries.

This apartment is located on the first floor and is accessed via a communal front door with intercom security system.

Balcony

The balcony of Bosbrea is accessible from the lounge with a bistro set comprising of one patio table and two chairs.  Imagine sitting out on your own private balcony enjoying an alfresco meal, pre-dinner drink or quiet read whilst taking in the far reaching sea views across St Ives bay.  

Parking

One allocated parking space is provided on the private brick driveway, with additional road parking close by. 

Carbis Bay

The coastal railway links St Ives to Penzance and is perhaps one of the most scenic rail journeys in the UK.  The rail journey from Carbis Bay to St Ives takes about 4 minutes. It also connects to St Erth and Penzance to mainline UK stations including Paddington, London.
