Lounge Area

Pendrea has a spacious 24' open plan living, dining and kitchen area, with plenty of comfortable seating for guests.  There is a 42" TV with full Sky package, a Blu Ray DVD player and a Nintendo Wii to keep you entertained.  A selection of books and DVD's are also provided.  A three seater leather settee and a two seater leather are provided and the lounge has a number of paintings featuring the local area giving a relaxing holiday feel to the property.

A Welcome Guide in the apartment provides a wealth of information about Carbis Bay and St Ives.  Enjoy the coastal walks with stunning panoramic sea view or catch the train into St Ives and wander the cobbled streets, with their local art galleries and shops selling local crafts.  You will enjoy reading the visitor book, which records previous guest experiences or, you may just like to discover the St Ives area for yourself.

Dining Area

The dining area is open plan with the lounge and kitchen.  The wooden dining table has seating for six people to enjoy a home cooked meal.  If you enjoy cooking, why not search out some of our local farm shops for some fresh produce?  You can even pick up fish caught that very day from Newlyn Fish Market or the fishmongers in St Ives.

If you prefer to dine out, then there are a few restaurants in Carbis Bay, including the renowned Becks and of course if you prefer,  you can be in St ives in no time,  recommended eateries are The Loft, Alba, Porthminster  and The Seafood Cafe to name but a few.

This contemporary kitchen has high gloss units and work tops.  It exudes quality and we believe that the owners have thought of everything.  Budding chefs should have everything that they could possible need to create the perfect dish.  The open plan accommodation of Pendrea provides for sociable food preparation, so chef can converse with fellow guests.  

As you would expect from a holiday property of this quality, the kitchen is fully fitted and has appliances comprising microwave, electric hob, oven and extractor, in addition to a built in dishwasher, and washer/dryer.  Gadgets for chef include a Tassimo coffee maker, toaster, kettle, juicer and food processor. 

Bedroom One with En-suite

Pendrea master en-suite bedroom is on the first floor and with twin beds.  There is a bedside table and bed side lamp, a 19" LCD TV with Freeview and Ipod docking station, spacious wardrobe and a chest of drawers, plenty of storage for whatever time of the year that you plan to visit.  It provides year round self catering at its best.

The master bedroom benefits from an en-suite bathroom with sink, WC, and shower enclosure.

Bedroom Two

The second bedroom of Pendrea is on the ground floor, making this cottage ideal for less abled and is located close to the family bathroom.  It has a king size bed with bedside tables and reading lamps, 19" TV with Freeview and an Ipod docking station.  There is plenty of storage with a chest of drawers and wardrobe.  Beautifully presented with crisp cotton bed linen, you will enjoy a sound nights sleep after a long day surfing at Hawkes Point or strolling the coastal footpaths.

A cot and high chair are provided for our younger guests, we do ask however that you provide your own bedding for the travel cot. 

A set of towels comprising bath sheet, bath towel and hand towel is provided for each guest.

Bathroom One

The main bathroom of Pendrea is adjacent to the ground floor bedroom off the hallway, fully tiled with large modern tiles, the sanitary-ware is white Italian style and the fittings are sleek chrome.  There is a WC, wash basin, bath with overhead shower and screen, also a chrome ladder towel rail.  Towels are provided for each guest

Bathroom Two

The en-suite to the master bedroom of Pendrea on the first floor is fully tiled, the sanitary-ware is white Italian style and the fittings are sleek chrome.  There is a WC, sink, and shower enclosure with power shower.

Pendrea has an enclosed decked courtyard garden area to the rear of the property, accessed from the kitchen. There is a table and chairs, seating up to four people.  It is a superb spot to enjoy breakfast, lunch or dinner and gets the sun most of the day. A barbecue is also provided.

Carbis Bay

With its golden sands and turquoise sea, Carbis Bay is recognised as one of the most beautiful bays in the world.  It is often selected as the perfect base for those wanting to relax and get away from it all but have the convenience of being just minutes away from the hustle and bustle of St. Ives.  With its Blue Flag accredited beach, Carbis Bay is a popular choice for a luxury self-catering holiday with many of our special escapes boasting dramatic sea views. The coastal railway links St Ives to Penzance and is perhaps one of the most scenic rail journeys in the UK.  The rail journey from Carbis Bay to St Ives takes about 4 minutes. It also connects to St Erth and Penzance to mainline UK stations including Paddington, London.
