Paradise Park, Hayle
Paradise Park - one of Cornwall's top wildlife sanctuaries is close by on the main road out of St Ives to Hayle, home to the World Parrot Trust as well as otters, squirrels and birds.
The Park is set around a Victorian walled garden, and features tropical plants which thrive in Cornwall's mild climate. The JungleBarn indoor play centre provides plenty of active fun for children whatever the weather.
Newquay Zoo, Newquay
Award winning Newquay Zoo is home to hundreds of animals from all around the world set in sub-tropical lakeside gardens. New for 2012 is the penguin feeding experience.

National Seal Sanctuary, Gweek
Set in the picturesque Helford Estuary by the beautiful village of Gweek in Cornwall, the National Seal Sanctuary houses a variety of seals and sea lions. Occasionally the Sanctuary's facilities and expertise are called upon to aid in the rescue of other marine creatures such as dolphins and turtles.

Cornish Camels
Visit the Cornish Camels free of charge out on the Lizard peninsula. There is an organic cafe, farm shop, gift shop with local crafts and children's toys. The camel centre looks straight into the camel pen, so that the camels can be viewed and enjoyed come rain or shine.
Roskilly's Farm
Roskillys Farm is located out on the Lziard peninsula near Helston and is a great attraction for all ages. Watch the cows being milked, enjoy some yummy lunch in the Croust House café, tuck into the freshly made Roskilly’s ice cream, take a look around the craft shop or take a peaceful walk around the nature trail.
