There are two pubs in Lelant offering dining facilities, both are child friendly so for a relaxing atmosphere with outside space for the children, either or both of these may suit your requirements. The Badger is in the heart of the village close to the St Ives Bay railway station and also just off the coastal path for those who have enjoyed the walk from St Ives or Carbis Bay. The Watermill Inn was once a corn mill dating back to the 18th century and can be found on the old St Ives Coach road. Both offer a good value menu and a wide choice of local beers.

Badger Inn Lelant

The Badger offers a fine selection of local beer particularly recommended is St Austell Brewery's Tribute, it also serves good quality food and has a carvery throughout the summer and at weekends in low season. A good child friendly pub with outside gardens.

The Watermill Inn

The Watermill Inn at Lelant Downs dates back to the 18th century when it was a corn mill, some of the mill is still working making the trip an educational visit for the children. Large car park and gardens as well as a child friendly bar and dining area, upstairs is a slightly more formal restaruant. Good local beers and varied menu with special offers in winter.

St Ives Bay Train Pub Trail

Not sure whether this is something that you want to challenge in a day or even a week, but why not. The St Ives Bay Line is one of the most scenic in the Uk connecting St Ives with Penzance so why not visit the pubs along the way. The Rail Ale Trail is an official tour just get a stamp in each pub and you qualify for official souveniers to commemorate your achievement. The Day Ranger Ticket allows you to hop on and hop off for the whole day.
