Carbis Bay Holidays :: Park and Ride Lelant to St Ives
The St Ives Branch Line is notably the most scenic train ride in Britain. It starts at St Erth on the Cornish Main Line and travels alongside the estuary of the River Hayle before reaching the Atlantic Ocean. Here, this single track line hugs the coastline taking in Lelant Saltings and the stunning beaches of Porth Kidney, Carbis Bay before arriving at Porthminster in St Ives
This train service runs throughout the year and is favoured by many of our guests as one of the best ways to travel in between Lelant, Carbis Bay and St Ives. This trip should be taken at least once on your holiday for the experience, if not for the convenience of leaving your car behind.
A 'Day Ranger' ticket costs from £2.00 per person and can be used all day on the St Ives Bay Railway.
