Living area
Lounge
The lounge of Driftaway enjoys stunning views across Hayle Estuary. It boasts two leather settees, a driftwood coffee table, sea urchin lampshade along with local art work adorning the walls. A real holiday feel. For entertainment there is a Freeview TV, DVD player, Radio and CD player.
Dining Room
The separate dining room is adjacent to the lounge and kitchen area. Seating is provided here for up to four guests or as an alternative the balcony offers a small table and two chairs to enjoy al fresco dining.
A welcome manual in the apartment provides a wealth of information about St Ives and West Cornwall. The apartment is next to the South West Coastal Path where you can take a leisurely walk into Lelant, enjoy a hearty meal in The Badger and try their renowned local beers, or perhaps enjoy a round of golf at West Cornwall Golf Club, one of the oldest links course in the country.
Kitchen
There is a spacious fully fitted kitchen at Driftaway, providing everything you may need for luxury self catering. Guests will find an excellent range of appliances: an oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher, fridge with freezer compartment, washer dryer as well as toaster, kettle, coffee maching and other handy gadgets.
The dining room is adjacent to the kitchen. For guests who prefer to eat out, then Carbis Bay offers some superb restaurants within walking distance including The Badger in Lelant, La Casita and the famous Becks fish and chip restaurant. St Ives is a short train ride away, here you could try Seagrass Restaurant, Blas Burgerworks, The Porthminster Cafe, Alba, St Andrew's Bistro to name but a few.
Sleeping
The bedroom at Driftaway has a double size bed, bedside cabinets and drawers, along with a matching wardrobe providing plenty of storage space whatever time of the year you may visit. This light and airy room is at the rear of the apartment.
A complimentary booster seat and travel cot are provided, guests are requested to provide own bedding for the travel cot.
A selection of towels is provided for each guest and there is also a hairdryer.
Bathroom
The bathroom is located next to the bedroom. It is fully tiled with the white sanitaryware complimented by chrome fittings. There is a WC, wash basin with vanity unit, bath and a separate shower enclosure.

Outside
Perhaps the most stunning feature of this apartment is the view from the balcony. A bistro table and two chairs offer the opportunity for a sunrise breakfast or meal anytime of the day. The ever changing colours of Hayle Estuary with distant views to Godrevy Lighthouse are bound to relax any guest.
The communal tropical gardens of Sea Urchin apartments can be reached directly from the balcony, or from the car park to the rear. Being tended with love and care and with a BBQ and picnic table and chairs, the garden provides a perfect sheltered spot with a wonderful sea view.
