Notably the most scenic train ride in Britain, the single track railway runs from Penzance and St Erth to St Ives. Main routes to London and the rest of the U.K. can be connected from Penzance. The service follows the coast from Lelant Saltings to Carbis Bay to Porthminster beach at St Ives. There are spectacular views across St Ives Bay and the view as you near St Ives is memorable. This is a trip to be taken at least once if not for convenience but also for enjoyment. Larger images for Broadband Users |
