The lights at Mousehole are famous and well worth the short drive from Carbis Bay, but the award for effort must go to the tiny village of Angarrack near Hayle. On entering the village you are greeted with an illuminated gateway, the pub shops and most houses make a fantastic effort to erect a varity of lights - wonderful community spirit. 2007 theme was the 12 days of Christmas. Padstow is a bit further to travel from Carbis Bay but well worth the visit - all the boats are illuminated - look for the famous sea monster
