"We had a lovely holiday in Carbis Bay. We started with a very warm and cheerful welcome from the housekeeper who made sure we knew where everything was and that we were happy with the apartment. We really loved the apartment as it had everything we needed and fantastic views of the bay. The fabulous beach was only five minutes walk and we made sure we went there every day. We also walked along the coastal path from Carbis Bay to St. Ives every day taking time to enjoy the fantastic views accross the bay and stopping at Porthminster beach which is also very clean and relaxing. We had meals at several places in Carbis Bay and St. Ives, all were enjoyable, friendly and welcoming. The Union Inn has great offers on their meals and provides a very good service. The Cornish Arms offers a good choice of menu and a very traditional family atmosphere. Our favourite place to eat was the Calista Restaurant with exceptional food and service. Carbis Bay is a fabulous place to stay and we will definately be returning for another holiday soon. "
"We had a super few days with you, enhanced by unusually sustained good weather! I do know the area very well and once again enjoyed the coastal walk in both directions from the property. St Uny church is a lovely stop off, followed by good food at the Quayside and a trundle back along the cliff on the little train with views that can only be described as eye food! Bay View was of a very high standard and we were very comfortable. "
D. Fearn"We had a fabulous week at Carbis Bay and in Bay View apartment. We would definitely say it exceeded our expectations, and I have high standards, so was so pleased with our choice, especially with having 2 young girls, 3 and 1 years. Bay View had everything we needed and more, and the views were to exciting. Becks restaurant on the main road was great and lovely fish and chips, and very nice and child friendly restaurant. We self catered most of the time, other than a meal with family who live in Hayle at the Watermill in Lelant, was lovely."
J. Freestone"Just to let you know we had a really lovely week in "Bay View", we cannot praise the apartment enough. It was spotlessly clean throughout and the kitchen was so very well equipped with nice to use china and utensils. The lounge is very well equipped and comfortable. The view of St Ives was beautiful. "
D. Iceton"Bay View was fantastic, very clean, comfortable and well equipped. Our teenage son particularly enjoyed the Playstation which kept him amused, and out of the way, during quiet moments. The views of the bay from the apartment were wonderful. St Ives provided an abundance of restaurants, however, most required reservations when we visited on the Saturday evening. We enjoyed a good meal at the Badger inn in Lelant. St Michaels mount is definitely worth a visit as are the garden at Trengwainton and Glendurgan Gardens. The golf at Tregenna Castle was most enjoyable, the drive round to Godrevy in the evening was worthwile to watch the sun go down over the horizon. All in all, we had a fantastic holiday."
C. Cox"We were thoroughly impressed with all aspects of Carbis Bay Holidays and had a fantastic week staying at Bay View., it is a lovely apartment and was perfect for our holiday requirements, containing just about everything we could have needed for the week. We were incredibly lucky and had a week of perfect sunshine so went to the Beach everyday but there was plenty of entertainment within the apartment had we had a rainy day. It was our first visit to Carbis Bay and we will definitely return, the beach is gorgeous and being so close to it was a real plus. I’m sure most people have commented on the train but it really was great for us and our children thought their evening trips into St Ives were fantastic. Our favourite place to eat in St Ives was ‘Olives’ where we had a fantastic afternoon tea and will definitely go back there for an evening meal when we stay again. I can’t remember the name of the fish and chip restaurant in Carbis Bay but the food was great and they were so friendly, especially to our children. Many thanks and we look forward to booking with you again"
C. Brookes"This has been an absolutely fabulous break we must of had the best weather of the Summer. The accommodation was first class and all the extra touches (toiletries and luxury towels amongst other things) were much appreciated it certainly makes a difference after travelling a distance. Will certainly come back again and have already reccommended you to our friends. All in all a perfect holiday."
S. Last, Shrewsbury"We had a wonderful week at Bay View and found the apartment to be excellent. Close location to the train station was a definite bonus, as was the ability to take coastal walks within minutes of leaving the front door."
L. Gibson, Reading"We had a fabulous time staying at Bay View, the accommodation was excellent, furnished to a very high standard and extremely comfortable. This is the 4th apartment we have stayed in at Compass Point and I have to say it is by far the nicest."
