Lounge Area
Cardinal Point has a spacious open plan, luxury lounge/diner with a sumptuous leather corner settee and leather chaise from which you can read in comfort or merely relax and enjoy the scenery. There is a 50" Flat Screened Plasma TV with Freeview, DVD/CD, MP3 and Wii provided for your entertainment. The lounge opens on to patio with table and chairs with spectacular views over the bay, all the way to Godrevy Lighthouse. There are two canvas prints of St. Ives Harbour and Godrevy Lighthouse.
There is a "Welcome Book" and DVD packed with information about St Ives and the varied attractions of the area. You will also find O.S. maps, walks, pub and restaurant guides, as well as a selection of 'rainy day' activities for the children, games, books, DVDs along with a MP3 docking station so you may never be without your favourite tracks. Freeview TV is provided offering a comprehensive package of Sports and Films (not pay to view or interactive). There is wireless broadband provided.
Dining Area
The dining area at Cardinal Point is beautifully furnished to an exceptional standard. The high quality oak dining table comfortably seats 6 people. Everything is provided to enable you to have either an elegant and formal table for that special occasion or a simple sit down before going out on the town. A high chair is provided for younger guests'. You are rather spoilt for choice with the number of quality restaurants nearby Some do offer a takeaway service, such as the famous Beck's Fish & Chip Licensed Restaurant or you can prepare your meal at home and enjoy the comfort of your apartment. On warmer days of course you may choose to dine "al fresco" on the decked area in front of the property.
Cardinal Point has a fully fitted, high specification, contemporary kitchen area with integrated cooker, hob, microwave, built in fridge, dishwasher, freezer, toaster, kettle, Tassimo coffee machine, and everything else you would expect from an apartment of this quality plus a little more! Whether you wish to prepare your packed lunch for the beach or cook a five course meal for six, all you could need is provided to make it a real pleasure. Being an open plan living area means that you can spend as much or as little time in the kitchen without missing out on the plans for the next day's activities. The separate utility room houses a deluxe washer/dryer for your convenience. An iron and board are provided to ensure you always look at your best.
Bedroom One with En-Suite
The sumptuously furnished Master Bedroom at Cardinal Point has a contemporary oak bedroom suite consisting of a large wardrobe, bedside cabinets, dressing table and stool and a chest of drawers. You can watch the flat screen TV with DVD from the comfort of the double bed with memory foam mattress should you wish to. You have the same spectacular views as the lounge so you can wake up in the morning and draw the curtains and gaze across to Godrevy Lighthouse. Should you require an alarm clock, a radio controlled weather station alarm clock is on hand. A hairdryer is provided for your use. High quality, white bed linen and towels are provided: luxury bath sheets, bath and hand towels.
Bedroom Two
Cardinal Point's second bedroom has a double bed with memory foam mattress, bedside cabinets, chest of drawers, single wardrobe and a flat screen TV with DVD. This room has been tastefully furnished to an exceptional standard to ensure that you can relax and contemplate how you will enjoy the day to come. Should you require one, a radio controlled weather station alarm clock is on hand. A hairdryer is provided for your use.
Bedroom Three
The third bedroom of Cardinal Point has high quality, full-sized 3' bunk beds, bedside shelves, wardrobe and a colour TV with DVD, and Playstation. The room is furnished to a high standard and with a nautical theme! It has been equipped with games and activities to entertain the younger guests, even on days when the sky is not quite so blue. For those of an even younger age, there is a travel cot and high chair provided for your convenience - located under the master bedroom bed. However, please bring your own bedding for the travel cot.
Bathroom One
Cardinal Point has a beautiful contemporary white bathroom suite with modern chrome fittings and is fully tiled. There is a bath with overhead shower and glass shower screen, Chrome heated towel rail, WC and hand basin. Whether you've had a hard day at the beach or visiting Cornwall's many attractions, here you will find all that you need to relax and prepare yourself for the evening ahead.
Bathroom Two
The en-suite to the master bedroom of Cardinal Point has a high quality, contemporary white suite consisting of WC, heated towel rail and large, luxury, walk-in power shower. High quality Bath sheet, Bath and Hand towels are provided. Beach towels not provided.
The patio of CARDINAL POINT is accessible from the lounge. There are two bistro tables and chairs where you can savour a glass of wine. From here you can enjoy the views across the bay to Godrevy lighthouse. Although completely safe we do recommend that all children are accompanied at all times. There is an allocated car parking space directly outside the apartment. Valley Road is a quiet and select area of Carbis Bay and means that you can relax in comfort. From here you can take a brief stroll down the valley to the award winning Carbis Bay Beach or enjoy the coastal paths to either St Ives or Lelant - either way, you will not be disappointed by the glorious views.
The Spinnakers
The Spinnakers is a quality development of eight luxury apartments on Valley Road on the seaward side of Carbis Bay. These two and three bedroom apartments have an open plan lounge, dining and kitchen area together with a master bedroom with en-suite and two further bedrooms with a family bathroom. The apartments also have either balconies or decked patios with stunning sea views across St. Ives Bay. Allocated parking provided outside the apartments.
Furnished to a very high standard, the quality of these apartments will attract the discerning visitor to Cornwall, ideally located to enjoy the stunning views across the Bay and the perfect base to explore this wonderful area of Cornwall. Tescos supermarket is nearby and St. Ives is a 25 minute walk away. There is a delightful walk to the beach through the Carbis Bay Valley. For larger parties, adjacent properties can be reserved in separate apartments.

Kynance Cove is also delightful. Watching the surfers on the fantastic beaches at Porth Kidney and Sennen was great. For eating we love La Casita in Carbis Bay. We did our usual coastal walk to St Ives and had lunch at Porthminster Beach Café. The walk down from Spinnakers was lovely and not as taxing on the way up as I thought it might be.
