Guest Comments

"We again had a fantastic time in Carbis Bay at Celeste. Perfect for a New Year break.  Two new experiences for us this year was a wet and windy walk from Mousehole to Lenora Cove and back followed by a drink in the Ship Inn at Mousehole. When we came out of the pub all the Christmas lights were on. Magical.  Closer to home Al Fresco in the centre of St Ives ws excellent for lunch."

G. Turner

"We loved the apartment it was much bigger than we expected and was of such a high standard.  The weather was lovely and we never tired of looking out at the fabulous view.  Our favourite restaurants were Porthmeor beach cafe, Hobblers and Rhubarb coffee shop in St Ives."

J. McCabe

"We had a fabulous time in Carbis Bay! The apartment was spectacular, especially the amazing view. It was extremely clean and the little touches, like the white company shampoo etc were lovely. We also were extremely impressed with the space. We loved the Porthminster restaurant  in St Ives, and the best pasty shop ever is the St Ives bakery opposite Cath Kidson!! "

A. Carey

"We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday in Celeste. It was a stunning appartment and we hope to make a return visit next year."

G. Waite

"We had a great time and the weather was kind to us. The service, standard of accomodation and cleanliness were all top drawer. The area was lovely... a walk along the coast path to the Badger for Sunday lunch, before wending back the same way was a pleasure, as was a train ride into St Ives to dine at the Seafood Cafe on the last night. "

S. Jolly

"We were met on time and the key handover worked to perfection. The apartment (Celeste) was in spotless condition, all the facilities were exactly as you’d stated on the website, all in all a perfect break."

P. Greenlees

"We were both very pleased and impressed with the standard and presentation of Celeste - it's certainly a place we would look to return to in the future, and there are not many occasions when I can genuinely say that!"

P. Cockerill

"We again had a great time in Carbis Bay. Celeste was a lovely appartment. It was clean and well fitted. We managed to eat out at BLAS, Porthminster Cafe and the Watermill in Lelant. All to be recommended. On New Years day we went for a walk to Godrevy lighthouse, stunning"

G.Turner

"We had the most amazing short-break at Celeste last week. The apartment and its position is out-standing. The view from the lounge was just to die-for. Admittedly we had fantastic weather and spent nearly all of our 4 days on Carbis Bay beach, but even if the weather hadn't been good, the fact that the apartment had everything you could wish for and more, it wouldn't have mattered."

S. & M. Young

"This is the second time we have stayed in Celeste apartment, we find it ideal – a really high standard of accommodation that has been maintained, highly convenient to walk to the beach or train to catch to St Ives and with a view to die for! We just love it, it is so comfortable with all the conveniences of things one would have at home. We love the area, took our teenage children to Lands End and Truro – ate out twice at La Casita Italian restaurant up the road, really nice food reasonably priced, and enjoyed an excellent bistro meal at The Hub on the harbour front in St Ives. Carbis bay beach is spotless. All in all, a totally relaxing holiday and we will return! "

"Many thanks to you and the owners of Celeste for providing us with the perfect accommodation for a wonderfully relaxing holiday – the accommodation was truly 5 star and we loved the layout and spacious feel of the apartment, with what has to be one of the world’s best views and we are not exaggerating!!"

S. Harrison, Lanchashire

"We would like to say a massive thank you for our week in Carbis Bay, it was beautiful.  There is nothing that we can fault regarding the accommodation, the apartment was very clean and had everything that we could want for our week.  The location was great with lovely views across Carbis Bay and St Ives. The value for money was brilliant and we felt spoiled being there."
