"Chapel View is amazing. The views over Carbis Bay towards St. Ives are outstanding. The interior of the property is of a high standard and quality with everything you need. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning to Carbis Bay in October"
S. Couldwell"Our Christmas at Chapel View was wonderful! We loved the house, which was clean, welcoming, warm and comfortable. Ideal for 4 couples. We quickly polished off the locally made mince pies and mulled cider - thank you. Everything we needed was on hand and we were able to cook Christmas lunch without too many mishaps - even under the influence of a Buck's Fizz or two! So much food was on hand that we didn't manage to eat out (apart from Cornish Pasties at Mousehole). The walk to St Ives is very pleasant and there is always the train back. We went to Godrevy, to see the grey seals, and nearly got blown off the cliff! "
B. North"Chapel View was superb and cleaned to a very high standard. Everything we required had been thought. The food at La Casita was fantastic, it could rival Rick Steins! The fish and chip restaurant within the village was also superb. It was like stepping back into the 70's, but the food and people were lovely."
N. Curtis"We had a really great holiday in Chapel View. The property is of a really high standard, and it was exceptionally clean and well equipped. We enjoyed Carbis Bay beach. For eating out we would recommend Blas in St Ives, for the most delicious burgers ever. Harbour fish and chips was also really good, as was Pels for lunches (especially ring and collect – really handy). Thanks again for a lovely holiday. We hope to return again next year."
"We had a brilliant holiday and thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Chapel View, the property was equipped, serviced and cleaned to an excellent standard. The administration by Carbis Bay Holidays was extremely efficient. We enjoyed some fantastic walks with stunning scenery - St Ives to Zennor, Godrevy to Portreath, Gurnards Head to Zennor, Carbis Bay to Lelant and Kynance Cove to Mullion Cove on the Lizard. Our favourite restaurants were the Sea Food Cafe, Mermaid, Badger Inn, Casita, Rajpoot and Becks fish and chips. We also ventured to Restronguet Creek to the Pandora but mainly as a trip down memory lane. We had a lovely trip to the Minack - although there was a good sea mist! Golf, surfing and fishing were also enjoyed. Chapel View was perfect in location as the walk to St Ives was lovely in itself."
C. Heede"We had a lovely time at Chapel View, the perfect location for them to enjoy the beach, but whenever we want something a little extra, St Ives is a short walk or train ride away. Our two boys enjoyed the go karting at St Erth. We have always found your properties to be of the highest quality; clean, well-equipped, spacious and well-appointed, Chapel View has an edge, being close to the beach and having excellent views."
C. Phillips"My family and I had a wonderful holiday at Chapel View, the house is extremely nice, well equipped and has wonderful views over the bay. Regarding walks etc. we particularly enjoyed the coastal footpaths from Carbis Bay to St Ives and Hayle. Also Godrevy was fantastic. We also visited St Ives, Cape Cornwall, St Just, Sennen, Mousehole, Lands End and St Michael’s Mount and thoroughly enjoyed them all. We were lucky enough to see several seals at St Ives and Carbis Bay then again at least 30 over at Godrevy, magical. Our favourite restaurant was the Fire House in St Ives where we had a fantastic meal. Carbis Bay Hotel was good for morning coffee and, of course, for my daughters’ the wedding which is partly why we came down to Cornwall."
S. Lewis"Our holiday in Chapel View was nothing short of fantastic, a beautiful house in a beautiful location. Chapel View is a home away from home with every convenience you could possible wish for, the rooms are all bright and airy and the property is tastefully decorated to really give that holiday feel. Nothing is left to chance and every detail of how to use the various items, electronic gadgets and other facilities was to hand to ensure you could be comfortable from day one. The property is beautiful and genrally well maintained throughout. The big white fluffly towels were in ample supply as were the two robes in the Master Bedroom. The kitchen is beautifull and there is nothing else it could possibly be equiped with, there seems to be literally every concievable piece of equipment for the amateur cook and I was more than able to whip up a Sunday roast with all the trimmings and an Apple and Blackberry crumble. At night the property is just close enough that you can leave a bedroom window open and listen to the sound of waves breaking on the beach.... fantastic!"
A. Seymour"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Chapel View. The location was ideal especially as our children accompanied us. They loved the house and found lots to do in the area. We loved the fact that it was so near to St Ives and enjoyed the walk there and also the walk to Hayle and Lelant. The house was excellent and suited our needs perfectly."
J.Ryan"Chapel View was absolutely perfect for us as a family, the house is spacious also providing privacy when we needed it. It is so handy for the beach and even more so the rail link into St Ives which we used extensively. With regard to the cleaning, it was faultless, All in all, it really is a fabulous family holiday home ( also suiting couples ), thanks again"
C. Matson"We arrived early at Chapel View - WOW SURLY THIS IS NOT A HOLIDAY LET. we were so delighted to have chosen this property, the views are fantastic, you can see the beach from the front window, its large, clean, all the items in the house are high end. All in all this was the best choice we could have ever made. A place to visit on route is PORT AND STARBOARD FISH AND CHIP RESTAURANT, this is Indian Queens just off the A30. Camel Trail – if you like bike riding then this is right up your street, we picked this up from Padstow, cheap for an afternoon out and you can stop along the way for a little light refreshment."
N. Hewitt"Thank you for arranging that we stay in Chapel View following the late cancellation of our holiday, the location was fabulous and the house modern and spacious. Yet another great holiday with your company".
