Gennaker has a luxuriously furnished open planned living room/dining area with beautiful patio doors looking out to stunning views over St. Ives Bay. The doors open onto the decked area and car park. The lounge has two soft leather sofas that will accommodate six persons with room to spare at the end of the day to watch the 37" LCD TV with Blue Ray DVD and full Sky + HD package. Just for fun there is a Playstation II and a Nintendo Wii or you can watch a film from the selection of DVD's provided.
Wireless broadband is provided free of charge for those who need to keep in touch with the office or friends. You will find a Welcome Book, maps, leaflets about activities in the Carbis Bay area and a selection of DVDs, games and books for all the family, so even on a rainy day there is always something for your entertainment on your Carbis Bay Holiday.
Dining Area
The dining area at Gennaker has been furnished to a very high standard. There is a glass covered light oak dining table, which accommodates six people with its soft leather-upholstered chairs. Gennaker is the ideal base for a seaside holiday in Carbis Bay a short walk to the beach and convenient for exploring the delights of West Cornwall. You can treat yourself to dinner out at many of the restaurants or cafes in and around Carbis Bay and St Ives. But why go out when you can enjoy a home cooked meal in the highly equipped kitchen and the comfy surroundings of Gennaker. Summer or Winter you deserve a break, Gennakers offer luxury self catering breaks all year round.
Gennaker is a luxury holiday apartment with a fully equipped designer kitchen combining elegance and functionality with top of the range appliances, consisting of built-in cooker and microwave with easy to use functions. The hob offers a central wok shaped ring for safe and stable cooking. There is also a built in larder refrigerator, freezer and dishwasher. All other appliances, eg. toaster, kettle, coffee maker, etc, stand on beautiful granite worktops lit by concealed halogen lighting, to make the preparation of your culinary efforts a pleasure. The separate utility room contains a washer/dryer and an ironing board with iron for your convenience and a folding high chair.
Bedroom One with En-Suite
The Master Bedroom at Gennaker has been luxuriously furnished and includes two fitted wardrobes a dressing table, and bedside cabinets with a bedside lamps, enjoy a book before going to sleep or watch the LCD TV/DVD in the comfortable double bed. A hairdryer is also provided. There is an en-suite bathroom with walk in shower, washbasin, WC and heated towel rail.
From the bedroom window you can look out to fabulous views of St. Ives Bay, Godrevy lighthouse and beyond, so when you wake up, draw back the curtains, gaze at the views and relax to the pace of Cornwall. A travel cot is provided for infants, all bed linen is provided, but would ask you to bring your own bed linen for the travel cot.
Bedroom Two
The second bedroom of Gennaker has been stylishly decorated and furnished. It has a comfortable double bed, bedside cabinets each with a bedside lamp, and wardrobe with drawers. Also in the second bedroom is an LCD Freeview TV with DVD. The family bathroom is adjacent to the second and third bedrooms where soft luxurious towels are provided including bath sheet, bath towel and hand towel per person.
Bedroom Three
The third bedroom of Gennaker has quality 3ft bunk beds ideal for those younger holidaymakers with a wardrobe, chest of drawers and bedside cabinet. There is also a TV and a DVD Player with DVD's provided for guests' entertainment. The family bathroom is adjacent to the third bedroom, hand towels, bath towels and bath sheets are provided for guests.
Bathroom One
The main bathroom of Gennaker is also beautifully tiled and lit with recessed halogen lights. It has a superb white suite consisting of a bath with shower and screen, washbasin, WC and a chrome heated towel rail. All towels are provided including high quality bath sheet, bath towel and hand towel per person. Whether it's first thing in the morning or after a long day exploring West Cornwall, these superb bathrooms will definitely make you feel refreshed and relaxed.
Bathroom Two
The master bedroom has a luxurious en-suite bathroom, which has been beautifully tiled throughout and comprises a large magnificent walk in shower, a wash basin, WC and heated towel rail, all with modern chrome fittings
Accessed through the lounge sliding doors is the decked patio area of Gennaker with two tables and four chairs to sit and relax with a drink or a book or just admire the view. In the late evening switch on the atmospheric under floor blue lighting as you watch the evening sky, This is a very pleasant area at any time. Of course if you are an early riser, then the sun rises opposite the apartment, you will never cease to admire the colours of the water across St. Ives Bay.
The Spinnakers
The Spinnakers is a quality development of eight luxury apartments on Valley Road on the seaward side of Carbis Bay. These two and three bedroom apartments have an open plan lounge, dining and kitchen area together with a master bedroom with en-suite and two further bedrooms with a family bathroom. The apartments also have either balconies or decked patios with stunning sea views across St. Ives Bay. Allocated parking provided outside the apartments.
