Guest Comments

"Well where do i start.... We tend to go away twice a year and that consits of going abroad and staying in some stunning exotic locations. This was our first holiday within the UK as we couldnt be bothered to fly anywhere and i can honestly say that H2oh was one one of the best places we have ever stayed. The house was amazing loved everything about it! Everything worked, the bath was gorgeous, fresh towels in every room, lovely lighting, beautiful kitchen and front room, stunning views, Ps3, wifi and bt vision which suited our needs perfectly as we just wanted to chill. The blue folder was also very handy and gave us the heads up about the area, and what an amazing area it is! We are from the south east and to go to an area like carbis bay within england was an absolute dream."

"We had a lovely time staying in H2Oh, the standard and cleanliness of the property was excellent and there was a wealth of information on the local area in the guest information folder. Our favourite meal was at the Porthgwidden Beach Cafe."

L. Foster

"H2OH was very well equipped and spotlessly clean.  The book of information on how everything worked was excellent and very easy to understand which is wonderful when you are technologically challenged!  The information provided on all the amenities and tourist information was also very helpful. We happened upon the Halestown Inn at Halestown one day looking for another way back to Carbis Bay rather than driving through St Ives. It promotes itself as "The Pie Pub" and would say they do serve up some delicious varieties of pies along with decent real ales."

"H20H - lovely property, well furnished, comfortable, well equipped and fabulous views"

G. Gilhooley

"H2OH is a marvellous, luxurious house to stay in. We couldnt praise it highly enough. The house is spacious, extremely well equipped, spotlessly clean and with wonderful views of the sea and beaches. We particularly enjoyed eating at The Ocean Grill in St.Ives Harbour where the food was fresh local produce, good service and wonderful views of the Harbour. We particularly liked the locally produced Polgoon sparkling elderflower wine and apple juice! "

R. Conway

"H2OH - an amazing place to spend a week or many more if we had the time.  Views of the very highest order,  In every respect it is a great place for a decent sized family (or maybe even two small ones) with huge amounts of room.  Porthminster Cafe is probably the leading light and every bit as good as its numerous awards suggest, birthday treats don't come much better.  On the other side of town by the Tate, Porthmeor Beach Cafe is also fantastic for drinks or food any time of day.  Blas Burgerworks really never lets the side down; great atmosphere, great music, great ethical policies and the best burgers anywhere."

V. Bamford

"The administration, standard of accommodation and cleanliness of the property were excellent. We have been coming to Carbis Bay every year and sometimes twice a year for 17 years staying at the same place but decided this year to try somewhere different. We could not believe how lovely it was and will hopefully return next year."

S. Couldwell

"H20H was great. Very clean, modern, with perfect picture windows. Walk to Godrevy Lighthouse around bay is good fun and bracing for you and the kids. Massive beach with no-one on it apart from surfers. Went further along coast to Porthtowan and cove before. Best walk by far is the simplest. Coastal walk round the headland from Carbis Bay to St Ives. The view if the sun is shining as you round the headland and see St Ives is perfect, followed by a coffee on the beach at Portminster as the kids play football . Perfection all round."

A. McDougall
