Building Works
March 2013 – Renovation work has commenced on a building adjacent to Gallinas Point Apartments. Scaffolding has been erected and extends across the road to the gable wall of Gallinas Point. Although access cannot be gained across the scaffolding to the apartments, privacy may be compromised in the external areas of apartments Serendipity, Kara and The Penthouse, along with the kitchen side window of Kara and The Penthouse. The roof and chimneys are being taken down from the building and we are advised the scaffolding will then be removed and reinstalled later in the year. We will continue to monitor the works and will up-date the website with any changes as soon as we are aware.
June 2013 – Works continue on the building with most work taking place to the seward side of the building. Steel work is now going into support the roof.

"We very much enjoyed staying at serendipity tucked away in the corner. The apartment was yet again was immaculate, and comfy. The new coffee machine was great we went and bought one yesterday ! "
C. & T. Strickland"We had a super week in Serendipity. It exceeded our expectations, the apartment was very well equipped, very clean and ideally situated. We loved the outside seating area and used it lots. We went to St Michael's Mount.....but the tide was in, the sea quite rough and consequently the island almost deserted so just how we like things, also The Eden Project, one of the main reasons that we visited Cornwall and well worth it. Walking out from the apartment was easy; Carbis Bay an easy stroll and the coastal path towards Zennor gave amazing views. The apartment is also extremely well placed for the bus and train station. St Ives was fab. We loved it."
S. Buckley"We thought Serendipity was very comfortable, extremely clean, beautifully furnished and having the car parking space was invaluable. The location was great for getting to the town and beach."
A. Brown"We have visited St Ives several times as we love it there and usually stay in bed and breakfast, but thiis year having a young baby we wanted something more like 'home from home'. And Serendipity did not disappoint at all. As well as being totally spotless it had everything you could need. Seafood Cafe and Ocean Grill have always been favourites of ours. The walk along to Lelant is also worth doing and then treating yourself to a nice lunch and drink in the Badger Inn there. With having our daughter, this time we actually took the train along to Lelant which again is great and very regular. "
J. Bottrill"The apartment 'Serendipity' was first class throughout, with an excellent specification and location. The beds, linen and pillows, towels and all equipment were all of a very good quality. The cleaning was immaculate and everything was in first rate condition."
M. Palmby"We had a lovely holiday in a fantastic apartment! It really is ideally positioned and is equipped to a really high standard with everything you could need and more!"
P. Hodgson"We thought Serendipity was excellent, extremely comfortable and superbly equipped. We loved having our breakfast sitting outside in the extremely well designed and well sheltered 'patio'. It is fairly rare to be able to eat breakfast outside in this country in October. Everything was very well planned and suited me well (I have difficulties in walking and use two sticks.) In terms of restaurants, we would certainly recommend 'The Captain's Table' at the Sloop Inn. My husband particularly enjoyed the guided walk around St Ives which focussed on local artists."
P. Evallins"Thank you for an excellent stay in Serendipity. The apartment is extremely well furnished and kitted out, making our stay very comfortable - I particularly enjoyed the terrace, and my son loved the high tech equipment! We all loved the location (despite the uphill climb home) and we didn't use the car once, just enjoyed being in St Ives. We will have to come again to visit all the places we missed this year."
L. Pugh"We were more than impressed by the standard of accomodation at Serendipity, it was immaculate, furnished beautifully and equipped to an extremely high standard. It was a perfect base for our holiday and I will definately be recommending it to family and friends. The scenery was breath taking. We can also recommend the art walking tour, in St Ives, we ate out at the Portminster Beach Cafe and the Union Pub, in the town. "
