Guest Comments

"We had a great week at The Sanctuary, I cannot fault anything in terms of how we were dealt with and the level of service. The apartment was of a very high quality as were the amenities. We were particularly impressed that we could take our dog with us. We would definitely stay there again. "

"We had a fantastic stay at The Sanctuary everything was very clean and the modern contempary furniture made us very comfortable. As for walks, we did the coastal path from St Ives to Carbis Bay which enabled us to enjoy some fabulous views across the Bay.  We also visited the National Trust site at Godrevy but there were no seals to see that day, luckily we saw 4 in St Ives Harbour on Saturday night so we weren't too disappointed!!  We took off to Marazion and went across to St Michaels Mount which is another good walk to the top for anyone feeling energetic . Our favourite was the Ocean Grill restaurant on the Harbour Front."

"We had a wonderful time at The Sanctuary and were very impressed with the high standard of cleanliness and the choice of interior design. It exceeded our expectations, the small touches really made this a truly wonderful break and the flexibility to check in and out allowed us to have more time in St Ives."

"We were so impressed with the apartment and particularly the high standard of cleanliness and decor. It was extremely well equiped and we found everything we needed (and plenty more!). We would recommend both the apartment and Carbis Bay holidays to others as everything was so well organised and stress free and excellent value for money. "

"We had an excellent holiday. the apartment was spotless, very well equipped and in an excellent location. We had our border collie with us, who totally enjoyed the walks to Carbis Bay and Lelant, especially as he could run free at Lelant which is one of the biggest beaches I have seen for a while and provides an enjoyable walk with wonderful views."

We had a wonderful time staying in St-Ives in the Sanctuary apartment. The apartment was very clean and modern and located in a wonderful position. We would have no hesitation in recommending to others and returning which we often do and found the apartment to be very pet friendly with the decked area from the patio a great sun-trap. First class accommodation in our favourite place in the UK, Fantastic holiday and many thanks for the opportunity of taking our Cairn terrier, George who also loved his holiday!!!

J Burgess

We enjoyed the holiday a great deal. The appartment was of a very high standard and we felt we had every thing we could need. It had the luxury of a hotel but we also had the space and privacy from having our own rented accommodation which was great for a holiday with an elderly relative. We enjoyed visiting the Barbara Hepworth garden and the Minack theatre particularly. We had a lovely time and it was a holiday we will treasure.

I absolutely loved my week in St Ives primarily because of The Sanctuary,  it was lovely and warm and cosy in the flat.  It was clean and nicely decorated. I also appreciated the fact that I could bring the dog who also seemed to enjoy being there as she settled in with the greatest of ease and behaved impecably.

"We had a wonderful holiday in St Ives and found The Sanctuary to be first class both in its facilities and location.  Due to having a 17 month old daughter we didn\\\'t eat out during the holiday but I found the open plan aspect of the apartment to be great allowing me to have fun with the family whilst I prepared our evening meals."

M. Butler, Swansea

"We enjoyed our holiday at The Sanctuary very much.  We thought the accommodation was excellent - the decor was very good, and in particular the level of facilities and overall cleanliness was exceptional.   The position proved to be very optimal as well.  It was close enough to get into St Ives town centre and the beaches in a few minutes, but far enough away to avoid the congestion - a very good balance."

P. Swinburne, Oxfordshire

"Outstanding!  The apartment has been ideal for our purposes and offers a very good standard of accommodation in a very convenient setting.   All in all a very good experience and given the late booking - a miraculous achievement.   Thank you Carbis Bay Holidays for your first class service from a very happy customer."

N. Irvine, Oxfordshire

"I would like to say how much we loved St. Ives and the accommodation at The Sanctuary during our four day visit there.  The accommodation waa top-notch, well situated and exceptionally clean.  Thanks to Kathy and her son for meeting us there and also for the flowers and 'welcoming pack'."
