"Waves is very well finished indeed and what lovely views; so relaxing. Spotlessly clean and so well provided for that we really wanted for nothing. We didn’t stray far but enjoyed St Ives and Carbis Bay as well as visiting St Michael’s Mount. I enjoy my seafood and so was very impressed with the standards in all places we visited. The Ocean was good from memory and we also enjoyed the Porthminster Beach Café for a quiet night for two. Very impressive. On the takeaway front you simply cannot beat Beck’s. I don’t believe I have had better fish and chips. Boat trip to see the seals was good but having young children it was the beach that was the main attraction and they are all very good."
Anon."We were absolutely thrilled with every aspect of our holiday. None of us could fault the apartment - the extra touched of wine, cream tea, wind breaks etc really made it for us. This was, without doubt, the cleanest place we have ever stayed, and I'm quite picky. Thank you again for a faultless holiday experience. "
K. Gabor"We had the most fabulous time yet again in our favourite apartment Waves. It was exactly as we had remembered and hoped it still would be. Your welcome items were much appreciated and as we have experienced before the cleanliness was A1."
B. T. K. Ballinger"We have just returned from a week in Waves at Carbis Bay and wanted to say a massive "thank you" for the wonderful accommodation. The apartment was spotless when we arrived and the welcome pack of goodies was very much appreciated, so thank you for that too. Everything was thought of there and it really was home from home and more! Great value for money in 5 star accommodation."
K. Horne"This was our 4th visit to Waves, and as usual we had a great time. Fantastic apartment with stunning views. Carbis Bay Holidays, and your property owners provide an unrivaled service and excellent accomodation, with all the amenites that anyone could want. We visited the Porthminster Cafe on a couple of occasions while we were there, and would recommend every one to visit, The costal walk from carbis Bay to St Ives is also something that sould not be missed. "
Anon"We had a fantastic break, the accommodation at Waves was beautiful, very clean and tastefully decorated and the views were terrific, even had a visit from the local seals. It was a lovely gesture to have the welcome pack, thank you. Great walk from Carbis Bay to St. Ives and the train was so convenient. Highly recommend the Alba restaurant, great food and atmosphere."
N. & G. Brown"We had a lovely holiday in Waves, the accommodation was excellent, perfectly clean and had everything we needed and of course had a sublime view. We managed to get on the beach most days and travelled around visiting different places around St Ives. We loved Tate St Ives and were lucky to go on a Sunday when it was their family day. Reuben, our three year old, also loved Paradise Park. In terms of restaurants we particularly loved Porthminster cafe, followed by Alba and Blas Burgerworks. We tended to go in and out of St Ives on the train which was really convenient."
M. Hyde"We had an excellent stay at Waves, the accommodation was of the highest standards and the views of the bay breathtaking. The first day we sat on the balcony taking it all in and were even treated to dolphins and “the seal” , we look forward to our trip next year"
P. Shuttleworth"The quality of the accommodation was the best we have experienced in many years. It was a real pleasure to stay somewhere with that level of fixtures and fittings / beds / towels / view etc. The coastal walk to Lelant Saltings, returning on the train, was beautiful. The fish and chips from the Balancing Eel were fantastic. Having a bbq on Porthmeor beach watching the sun set over the sea is an excellent idea. The carvery at the Badger Inn in Lelant was great. We spent most of our time on Porthminster beach - which is idyllic."
D. Catchpole"We had the most superb holiday at Waves. We were very impressed with everything about the accommodation, the view was breathtaking and we didn't venture far as we had all that we needed to hand, the car parking was very convenient and safe. As everyone else has said it is so nice to find somewhere that is so perfect."
T. & B. BallingerHi - overall we were very impressed with Waves and would defenitely stay again. The view was amazing and the apartment was spacious and very well equipped. Kids loved the Wii and the jacuzzi bath which we weren't expecting! We particularly liked picking mussels off the rocks at low tide and cooking them for dinner. Kids thought that was fantastic. They also liked Paradise Park(!!). Porthminster Cafe was fab as usual and the fish and chip shop on the main road in Carbis Bay was great. We went to a lovely beach on the north shore which I can't remember the name of now (past turn off to St Michaels Mount) but they had a fantastic cafe in a shack just by the beach which did evening BBQ's in their garden and had people playing live music. Great service and organisation.
M. Whitehead"The decking area is marvellous, the views are just stunning and porpoise appeared once again in the bay as they do every year when we are there, perfect!!"
N. Parks, Nottinghamshire"We had an absolutely fantastic time at Waves. Both the apartment and location far surpassed our expectations - we had several fine nights sitting out on the decking (admittedly wrapped up warmly) watching the superb sunsets. The setting is wonderful - there can be few apartments which can provide a better, uninterrupted view of sea, sand and sky."
R. Stewart, London"We had a lovely holiday, the apartment was excellent, very comfortable and clean. We have no complaints as always the organisation was very good."
