"Had a lovely break in Carbis Bay, White Sails was an excellent apartment and well appointed. "
"We came to Cornwall for a wedding and tagged on a few days break. White Sails was very comfortable, well equipped and clean, we did enjoy. We would recommend White Sails to all."
R Wicks"We had a lovely time at White Sails, everything was great, we did loads when we were down in Carbis bay, the beach was great when the weather allowed. We tried the tate, flambards, the maritime museum at Falmouth and the aquarium at Newquay. We probably would go back to Newquay but would recommend everything else. Tried Rick Steins fish restaurant in Falmouth - best food we had all week."
K. Young"We had a great time at White Sails, thank you. We only wish we had two weeks rather than one. The accommodation was great and beautifully clean. We had everything we needed and the children really appreciated the closeness of Carbis bay. And the Wii! We didn't eat out locally that much but tried The Loft in St Ives which we enjoyed a lot and Casita, the Italian up the road. Both were great and the service very good."
S. Burkhill"We thoroughly enjoyed our week in Carbis Bay. We stayed at the White Sails and we cannot fault it, it felt like a home from home. We visited many attractions but to name a couple that stood out for us would be St Michaels Mount and Lands End... Both were breath taking!!"
S. Patel"We absolutely fell in love with the White Sails apartment. Everything was clean, fresh and well-equipped. Carbis Bay is beautiful with a lovely sandy beach and local cafe with great cappuccino. The Coastal walk to St Ives is a must as is the local train. The location was perfect for visits to Eden Project; Penzance; Lands End and the Lizard. We loved the little ferry from Rock to Padstow, although you need to get there early in the morning to get a parking space!"
L. Smith"White Sails was great and of a high standard, highlights of our holiday included the walk from St Ives to Zennor, The National Trust property Trengwainton Garden (because they had the best cream tea we have had in a long time and a really good crab sandwich) and of course St Ives itself. We particularly liked our old favourite Al Frescos and the new restaurant Saltwater "
S. Walter"We found White Sails to be well equipped and furnished to a high standard. It was well placed for getting to St Ives (the Coastal walk is a must!) the train at £2 return is also very good value. Carbis bay has a beautiful sandy beach, very good for families with young kids. Cleanliness of apartment was very good. The apartment is also very well located to get back to the A30 and go for day trips to Lands End, Lizard point and the Eden Project and Padstow - all within an hour. Restaurants to recommend in St Ives, Seafood cafe, Porthminster cafe, Gourmet fish & chips on St Ives wharf are the best ever."
M. & N. Wallace"Thanks we had a wonderful holiday in Carbis Bay it never fails! We have been coming to Cornwall for over 40 years but have just discovered Kynance cove near the Lizard - what a beautiful place and a tea shop right there on the beach.. We will have to keep coming in case we miss something else!!! "
J. & J. Wayne"We had a fantastic holiday thank you! White Sails was as lovely as it looked on your website and is definitely worthy of it's five star rating. It had everything that it promised and more and it was equipped and cleaned to a very high standard. We had a meal at the Italian restaurant at the top of the road and the food and service were excellent . We also had takeaway pizzas from there and they were just as good. Because the weather was so lovely, we spent our time walking and visiting the many art galleries in St Ives."
S. Sykes"We had a really lovely week down in Carbis Bay, the weather was great which made it even better and the apartment was superb and finished to such a high standard, the bathrooms were both amazing, we need a shower like that at home! and we especially liked the linen and towels too, nice fluffy ones! "
F. Gilliat-SmithWhite Sails was a stunning apartment and immaculate. We chose it because we were one of 2
couples and it had 2 double rooms and I cannot fault it. We love the Pizza and Pasta Restaurant in St Ives and we had my 30th meal at the Carbis Bay hotel and the service was wonderful as was the food. Having Tesco up the road is also handy! Unfortunately we got hooked on the Nintendo Wii too so we had to buy one as soon as we got home! We never miss the seal sanctuary at Gweek and just along from St Ives and Carbis Bay at Godrevy we like to go and see the seals on the beach in the wild - it's amazing.
"We really enjoyed our stay the apartment was great and furnished to a very high standard with wonderful views."
D. Hockey, Berkshire"We had a lovely week in Carbis Bay - in spite of the weather! White Sails was a lovely apartment and had everything we needed."
J. Symms, Cheshire"We had 7 days at the Waves apartment and because we enjoyed it so much we booked a further 3 days at White Sails apartment just up the road. Both apartments were superb with glorious views."
