Carbis Bay Holidays :: Parking in St Ives

Parking in St Ives is at a premium, many of the self catering properties in the town do not have allocated parking so guests will find that they are asked to park in one of the public car parks.
Properties offered in St Ives by Carbis Bay Holidays have at least one parking space, if we cannot help with additional parking or you are visiting the town, the following map may help you choose the most convenient car park.
Some of the car parks are short stay only, some are long stay and weekly tickets can be purchased.

Porthminster Beach and Station Car Park - closest car park to Gallinas Point, long stay and weekly tickets available. Streetmap link
The Sloop Inn - The Wharf, extremely busy to access and to park in high season, good option as a short stay in low season - Streetmap link
Porthmeor Beach and The Tate Gallery - popular with surfers so usually busy all year round - Streetmap link
Barnoon Car Park - long stay - above Porthmeor Beach and handy for The Tate and Town - Streetmap link
Porthgwidden and The Island - best approached from Porthmeor, convenient but tricky to find and busy in summer. Not to be confused with the permit holder parking adjacent to the beach - Streetmap link
Trenwith - long stay - convenient for the Town, steep walk back ! - Streetmap link
The Stennack - close to the shops and the Town centre - Streetmap link
The Leisure Centre - the largest in St Ives with buses linking to various parts of the Town - Streetmap link
Visitors can purchase a weekly ticket on arrival at any long stay car park for £35.00 (2010 charges) either directly from the pay and display machine using £1 or £2 coins or from the attendants on duty at the Island or Trenwith Car Parks.
