We&#8217;d love for you to take part!<\/h5>\n<p>The designer of the winning Christmas card will receive art supplies worth \u00a350, a set of Christmas cards featuring their design, and \u00a3200 for their school or setting&#8217;s art department.<\/p>\n<p>This year, in celebration of the RNLI\u2019s 200th anniversary, we would like to invite you to get involved and design something festive with a \u2018safety at sea\u2019 twist!<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h2><strong>How to Enter<\/strong><\/h2>\n<div id=\"attachment_63556\" style=\"width: 650px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-63556\" class=\"wp-image-63556 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.carbisbayholidays.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/17\/2023\/10\/CBH-2023-Winning-Christmas-Card.jpg\" alt=\"The winning Christmas card from our 2023 children's Christmas card competition\" width=\"640\" height=\"427\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-63556\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">The winning design from our 2023 children&#8217;s Christmas card competition<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Getting involved is simple and the guidelines are as follows:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The competition is open to any child up to and including the age of 11.<\/li>\n<li>Your entry must be completed using our <a href=\"https:\/\/www.carbisbayholidays.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/17\/2023\/10\/CBH-Christmas-Card-Entry-Form-2023.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>downloadable entry form<\/strong><\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>Create a landscape artwork that&#8217;s as bright, colourful, and attention-grabbing as possible!<\/li>\n<li>Please avoid sticking anything onto your entry.<\/li>\n<li>Don&#8217;t forget to include your name, age, and the name of your school on the entry form.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Please send your completed entry forms to: <a href=\"mailto:victoria.rogers@sykescottages.co.uk\" rel=\"noopener\">victoria.rogers@sykescottages.co.uk<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Please ensure that all entries are emailed to us by the <strong>25th October 2024<\/strong> at the latest, in time for judging. The winner will be chosen and notified in early November.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h2><strong>Competition Theme<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>In celebration of their 200th anniversary, we would love it if you could think about the RNLI as a theme, and create a card design that not only depicts Christmas and the local area, but also celebrates their tireless work, keeping people safe on our beautiful coastline.<\/p>\n<p>Why not draw your local lifeboat with twinkling lights and a Christmas tree in the background? Or perhaps show RNLI volunteers in festive hats singing carols\u2026 be as creative as you wish!<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h2><strong>Additional Information<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><strong>Please keep your original creation safe<\/strong> \u2013 if you win, we may need the original artwork to produce our Christmas cards.<\/p>\n<p>We plan to feature the winner&#8217;s name, age, and school on the Christmas card. We&#8217;ll also announce the winner on social media and in the press. It&#8217;s vital to have consent from the parents or guardians of every child participating.
