That\u2019s why we\u2019re proud to be fundraising for Cornwall Air Ambulance Trust throughout 2025 \u2013 a charity that plays a vital role in delivering emergency medical care across Cornwall to visitors and locals alike. As part of our fundraising campaign, we\u2019re excited to invite children to take part in a brand-new creative competition.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h2><strong>Get involved<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #43476e;\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-63821\" src=\"https:\/\/www.carbisbayholidays.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/17\/2025\/05\/CBH-Cornwall-Air-Ambulance-Comp-Blog-Image.jpg\" alt=\"Carbis Bay Holidays children's competition\" width=\"640\" height=\"427\" \/><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We\u2019re calling on budding young artists to design a dream holiday home for \u2018<em>Heli<\/em>\u2019 the helicopter!<br \/>\nThink big, bold, and imaginative. Maybe <em>Heli<\/em> needs a clifftop retreat with a helipad and hangar, or perhaps a peaceful beachside barn complete with all the mod-cons for post-flight relaxation. However wild or wonderful your idea, we can\u2019t wait to see it brought to life with colour and creativity!<\/p>\n<p>We kindly ask parents to make a small donation to the charity when submitting an entry, via our JustGiving page. All donations will be matched by our parent company, Sykes Cottages, helping to raise even more for Cornwall Air Ambulance Trust and the incredible work they do.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.justgiving.com\/page\/carbisbayholidays\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><button style=\"padding: 10px 30px; border-radius: 4px; background-color: #081a5c; color: #ffffff;\">Make a donation here!<\/button><\/a><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h2>The prize<\/h2>\n<p>The competition will remain open until 31st October 2025, and one lucky winner will receive a \u00a3500 holiday voucher from Sykes Cottages \u2013 perfect for a UK self-catering break in 2026.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h2>How to enter<\/h2>\n<p>Simply <a href=\"https:\/\/www.carbisbayholidays.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/17\/2025\/05\/CBH-Competition-Entry-Form-HELIHOUSE.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">download<\/a> or pick up an entry form from the team in our office: Carbis House, St Ives Road, Carbis Bay, Cornwall, TR26 2SF.<\/p>\n<p>Then simply complete your masterpiece, and return it to the office in person, or via post \u2013 or email it to <strong>victoria.rogers@sykescottages.co.uk<\/strong>. The Competition prize is made up of a \u00a3500 voucher, which can be used on a stay at any property listed with Sykes Holiday Cottages, or any of the regional brands associated with them.<br \/>\n2. The prize of the \u00a3500 holiday voucher is valid for 2 years from date of competition closing. Must be redeemed by 31st October 2027.<br \/>\n4. The competition can be entered by any child aged 4 to 17. A parent or guardian aged 18 or over must be listed on the entry form, who will be allocated the prize voucher.<br \/>\n5. The competition prize cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer; is non-transferable and there shall be no alternative prize or cash alternative offered.<br \/>\n6. Sykes Cottages will not be held accountable for any costs, losses, damages, and expenses (including travel fees) that the winner may incur in relation to the Competition or prize or as a result of any misrepresentation of the prize.<br \/>\n7. The prize winner is required to pay the \u2018good housekeeping bond\u2019 associated with booking this property. Please see section 4.12 of our booking conditions for more information.<br \/>\n8. The winner will be contacted by Carbis Bay Holidays directly.<br \/>\n9. All entry requirements must have been followed to be entered into the competition. The prize will only be awarded if the minimum fundraising target of \u00a3500, as set by the organisers, is met. If the target is not reached, the business reserves the right to withhold the prize.
