If you are looking for an extra special seafront holiday let in Carbis Bay Cornwall then look no further than Surf and Sand. This beautiful second floor self catering apartment boasts outstanding panoramic sea views across St Ives Bay from most rooms, including the beachfront balcony. Exquisitely furnished and extremely well appointed with all you could require for the perfect luxury coastal holiday. Highlights - Surf and Sand is located in Carbis Beach apartments in Carbis Bay and is on the second floor. - Arrival 5pm, departure 9am. - Children welcome. - Sea views from the kitchen, master bedroom and living area. Lounge Area The living area to Surf and Sand offers a tranquil spot to enjoy the fabulous sea views, whether you are sat out on the balcony taking in the Cornish breeze or sinking back into one of the comfortable two seater cream Italian leather sofas. Alternatively, why not take advantage of the fantastic entertainments package provided, including a Panasonic 48" television with full Sky package including with Movies, Sports and BT Sport. There is a Blu-ray player with selection of Blu-ray disks, complimentary BT Superfast Fibre Wi-Fi, Bowers and Wilkins Zeppellin Air iPod dock and a selection of board games. You will also find a fantastic selection of books for all ages, including cook books, local guides and OS maps. Luxury Amtico flooring is laid throughout the property, along with co-ordinating oak furniture. To help set the perfect ambience, two floor standing lamps are provided. Dining Area The dining area forms part of the open plan living area and is conveniently located next to the kitchen archway, allowing guests to socialise with those busy preparing in the kitchen. A large oak dining table with six matching cream leather chairs can be found, along with a matching sideboard which houses a selection of glassware and crockery. Should you wish to taste the culinary delights of St Ives, the Mermaid Bistro on Fish Street is certainly worth a try with its wonderful selection of locally caught seafood. Entrance Hallway Upon entering Surf and Sand you are welcomed into a large hallway where Oak Amtico flooring is laid throughout. A utility cupboard can be found which houses an ironing board and iron. Kitchen The bright and spacious kitchen is located off the entrance hallway and provides ample storage within the fitted cupboards, along with plentiful preparation space on the beautiful peach granite worktop. This kitchen truly is a cook’s delight, with a Bosch five ring gas stove with wok ring and extractor hood above, stainless steel full height fridge and freezer, Le Creuset saucepans, Cuisinart 25 minute self-freezing ice cream maker, digital toaster, deep filled sandwich maker, waffle maker, blender and multi-temperature kettle, Kenwood kMix Stand Mixer, Neff integrated double oven and integrated dishwasher, Bosch integrated microwave, washing machine and tumble drier, electric citrus press, electronic scales hand blender and potato masher, Franke sink, Magimix Nespresso coffee maker with four sizes of Nespresso cups and milk frother, Roberts DAB radio and a great selection of utensils, including Joseph Joseph 100 range knives, chopping boards and bread bin as well as designer cutlery and crockery can all be found ensuring you have all the gadgets and tools to conjure up some culinary magic. Sleeping Bedroom One with En-suite The master bedroom at Surf and Sand certainly has the wow factor, with double French doors which open out onto a Juliette balcony, providing you with a magical panoramic outlook across St Ives bay. The majestic, king size oak bed is sure to provide a good night’s sleep with its Hypnos Ortho mattress and breathable Modal microfibre pillows and duvets, along with the blackout curtains. Matching oak bedside tables, Oak dressing table with vanity mirror and stool, five drawer chest of drawers, one five draw tall by chest of drawers and a triple wardrobe provide ample storage. A Samsung 48" Smart TV with Freeview, digital clock radio, floor standing lamp and matching two reading table lamps can also be found. For your convenience the ceiling and floor light switches are accessible from the bed. Bedroom Two The second bedroom is located to the rear of the property and provides two single beds, also boasting Hypnos Ortho mattresses and John Lewis Modal pillows and duvets. A single mirrored wardrobe, five drawer tall boy chest of drawers, dressing table with vanity mirror and stool, two drawer oak bedside table with two reading lamps, 42" Panasonic TV with Freeview, Bluetooth speaker/clock and all room lighting controls are accessible from bed. Blackout lined curtains and a three way blind ensure guests can enjoy an undisturbed night’s sleep. Both bedrooms are fully carpeted and provide hairdryers, 400 thread count luxury White Company bed linen and fluffy White Company towels, we do ask you to provide your own beach towels and travel cot linen. All duvets and pillows are replaced annually to ensure quality. Bathrooms Bathroom One The main family bathroom is located off the entrance hallway and has a large basin with built-in storage underneath, WC, luxury steam shower enclosure, heated towel rail for keeping your towels toasty, large mirror with shaver light overhead and shaver socket. Bathroom Two The en-suite to the master bedroom is incredibly spacious and has twin wash basins with built-in storage underneath, WC, bidet, whirlpool bath with thermostatic shower overhead, ideal for relaxing after a hard day of exploring, full height heated towel rail, large mirror and a shaver point. Luxury towels are provided for all guests including bath sheet, bath towel and hand towel. Complimentary White Company toiletries can also be found. Outside The peaceful covered balcony of Surf and Sand is accessible from the living area. A table and four chairs are provided for you to just sit back and watch the tide ebb and flow on the beach below. The ocean views are spectacular, stretching right across from St Ives to the famous Godrevy lighthouse which can also be enjoyed from the master bedroom Juliette balcony. At the entrance of the apartment, located to the rear, an additional area can be found which can be a lovely little suntrap in the afternoons, perfect for sitting out on with one of the books from the property's library. The balcony is directly above the garden from which a path leads down to the beach by a private gate.

Just a short drive from iconic St Ives, the seaside town of Carbis Bay is best-known for its beautiful stretch of pure white sand. With turquoise waters and sheltered conditions, the beach feels almost subtropical and is the perfect spot for a good old-fashioned day by the sea. The beach is also home to the Ocean Sports Centre, so if sunbathing is not really your thing, why not hire a kayak or SUP and get out on the water instead. Or why not treat yourself to a Spa day at the boutique hotel which overlooks the beach and has a fabulous terrace where cocktails can be enjoyed in the Cornish sunshine? Carbis Bay has a small range of local shops and restaurants as well as a fish & chip takeaway and railway branchline.
