However, the external facilities are looking a little tired, and as someone previously noted a little overgrown. The advertised parking arrangements are a little misleading, yes the cottage has no on premise parking, However, the suggested street parking has very limited capacity, is about half way down a steeply inclined street and is close to 0.3 miles away. The next nearest street parking is on the main road, this is generally all used up by local residents, leaving another couple of side streets further on towards St Ives, again with limited spaces. Finally, the main road, on which the cottage is located, has double yellow lines, this is also true of many of the side streets, and has no waiting restrictions during May through to the end of September. This makes the task of unloading and loading your car very difficult. Much of what I have said is noted in the owners information pack and it is something he is looking into, but you only get to find out once you are there. Lastly, this did not spoil our stay but put a little bit of dampener on it, and maybe during the high season would have been a real problem after a days sightseeing at many of the fantastic Cornish beauty spots. You should not let what I have written put you off staying at the cottage as it is well worth it, but just be warned if you are traveling by car.
