    “This is our 2nd visit to this lovely apartment and we absolutely love it.”

    We always used to stay in carbis bay but we love being in St Ives and like that you are a little bit out of the town so it’s not to busy. The short walk to the town and the beach is perfect and parking is a real bonus in St Ives. The apartment is well equipped and has everything you need, the bed is super comfy and I love the big bath. The terrace is also great, our little fur baby loves to sit on the terrace and watch the world go by, as do we. My only little niggle (and it’s minor) ...

The short walk to the town and the beach is perfect and parking is a real bonus in St Ives. The apartment is well equipped and has everything you need, the bed is super comfy and I love the big bath. The terrace is also great, our little fur baby loves to sit on the terrace and watch the world go by, as do we. My only little niggle (and it’s minor) is the internet, it’s very slow and a bit hit and miss. I’m self employed, so sadly have to still work when I’m on holiday and it proves a little challenging. Plus we couldn’t always watch our Netflix too. We’d love to come for a month in the low season but I don’t think I would manage internet wise. So we’ve booked for 2 weeks in November to see how I get on and then hopefully we can come for a month next year. It’s a real home from home and certainly our happy place. X

Living Area Upon entering the beautiful, bright and airy open-plan living area of The View, you can’t help but be drawn to the fabulous panoramic sea views through the bay window and glass French doors. The views stretch across St Ives Bay taking in Porthminster beach, Godrevy Lighthouse and the golden sands of the Cornish coast. Creature comforts include a brown leather sofa, ideally positioned for enjoying the 48" Samsung Smart TV with Freeview and Blu-ray DVD player. If you need to work away from home USB sockets and unlimited wireless broadband are offered throughout The View. Dining Area The dining area is perfectly positioned alongside the kitchen, guests can keep the chef happy whilst taking in the stunning views through the window and doors, there is a table with four comfortable leather dining chairs. If you prefer to dine out, you are rather spoilt for choice in St Ives which is a short stroll away and has a wide variety of restaurants from which to choose. Utility Cupboard A handy utility cupboard accessed from the living area houses the iron, ironing board and airer. Kitchen Sociable and open plan to the living area, it is a pleasure to cook here and create superb dishes with our fine Cornish produce. This beautiful modern kitchen has a range of high gloss white cupboards with black granite work surfaces and Neff intregrated appliances, there is a large fridge/ freezer, a microwave, a four ring ceramic halogen hob with extractor above, a double oven with grill, a dishwasher, a Tassimo pod coffee machine and a washer/dryer. In addition guests will find a toaster, kettle, caffetiere, hand blender and all the utensils, pots and pans they could possibly need to prepare a meal in this home from home. Sleeping Bedroom One This gorgeous room is decorated to compliment the seaside surroundings and boasts magnificent views of Porthminster Beach and across the bay through the picture window. A luxurious kingsize bed beautifully dressed in crisp white linen, scatter cushions and throw, enticing you to lie back and admire the views. Ample storage can be found within the two wardrobes, where both hanging and shelf space is available. You will also find bedside tables with matching reading lamps, 32"Sony smart HDTV with Freeview, USB sockets and a hairdryer. Luxury cotton bed linen is provided with a selection of high-quality towels and robes for each guest. Bathroom Bathroom One The modern bathroom of The View is located off the hallway opposite the bedroom. The white Villeroy & Boch suite comprises of a WC, wash basin and bath with overhead shower. A glass shower screen, heated towel rail for keeping your towels nice and toasty and a back lit vanity mirror with shaver point can also be found. High quality towels are provided for each guest. Outside The View proudly boasts a large granite terrace which is located on the seaward side of the property and accessed from the living area through French doors. The terrace is spectacular and offers outside living at its best, with unrivalled far-reaching panoramic sea views stretching across St Ives Bay to the golden sands of Gwithian and Godrevy Lighthouse. A glass-topped coffee table with chairs and a separate dining table with chairs, perfect for alfresco dining, and reclining sun loungers are provided on the terrace.
