Poppies is a small collection of three contemporary coastal cottages following their recent conversion of the popular guest house of the same name. The three cottages, each with their own particular character, have two allocated parking spaces as well as individual outside space. Ideally positioned to access the South West Coastal Footpath to Porthkidney Sands, surfing at Hawkes Point and of course just a short walk along Headland Road to the Carbis Bay beach and the railway station which connects to St Ives.

June 2011 : On the seaward side of Headland Road, Tregorran Hotel has been demolished and the area flattened, providing temporary extensive sea views for Carvean. We understand there are no plans to develop this in area during 2011.
Oct 2011 : Ground works have now commenced, Carbis Bay Holidays have not been provided with any schedule of works and are unaware whether the current works are on-going or preparatory.
Feb 2012 : No build schedule available but ground works completed, first floor blocks laid. Minimal inconvenience reported by guests. Extensive sea views now lost.
Apr 2012 : The large crane is very quiet, the external blockwork is being done with little inconvenience to guests. Anticipated that the roof trusses and tiling will be completed in June and the crane taken off site. We have no guarantee of this schedule.
