“We are a family of 8 with two adults and six children between 1 to 9 years old and this seaside bungalow was the perfect base for us to enjoy Hayle and St Ives from.”
It’s close enough to the local holiday park to be able to rely on their little shop but independent enough to not be part of that hustle.
The view from the private enclosed garden across the bay to St Ives are phenomenal and you literally step out of the gate onto the towans and the beach.
We had a couple of minor issues with broken / loose toilet seats which we reported but never received a response about which was a little disappointing - especially with young children needing to use those facilities - but overall it was a five star experience and we would have loved to come back again next year.
Unfortunately, Treleigh is about to undergo an internal reconfiguration and renovation which will see one of the bedrooms removed; which means it will no longer be able to accommodate larger families which is a real shame.
That said, I would highly recommend Treleigh to any smaller family groups moving forward.

Thanks for the lovely feedback and we are so pleased that you enjoyed Treleigh. The works to reconfigure Treleigh are underway with a larger kitchen being fitted which will result in a reduced number of beds for 2023. Building should begin winter 2023 to add an extension to the house to give us two additional bedrooms and a family bathroom making us available to a family of 8 once again. Please keep an eye out for released dates for 2024!
