    “The penthouse apartment is amazing with lovely views if the sea from a distance from 2 bedrooms and living kitchen also off the two balconies.”

    Bed in main en suite room super comfy. Enough storage spaces throughout. Bathrooms slighly small with sloaping ceilings so easy to bump your heads which we did many times

Just a moment’s stroll away lies Carbis Bay beach where you can choose to spend summer days lounging on the sands, or get active with hiring a paddleboard from the watersports centre before enjoying a refreshing drink and food choices on offer from the beach takeaway to fine dining. For even more variety just a stones throw away, you can make your way slightly uphill from here to a variety of restaurants, which includes John Becks which is a great local fish and chip shop. Wander down the path opposite the front of Sandy Lane to catch the train to the famous St Ives, where you can wander its narrow, cobbled streets, visit the local museum full of interesting facts about life and sample a range of restaurants. Those looking to get their steps in can follow the South West Coast Path and soak in the stunning Cornish coastline. St Michaels Mount is an idyllic island just off the shore at Marazion and accessible by causeway when the tide is low, or visit Trewidden Garden and see its collection of camellias and exotic shrubs. Just a short drive from iconic St Ives, the seaside village of Carbis Bay is best-known for its beautiful stretch of pure white sand. With turquoise waters and sheltered conditions, the beach feels almost subtropical and is the perfect spot for a good old-fashioned day by the sea. The beach is also home to the Ocean Sports Centre, so if sunbathing is not really your thing, why not hire a kayak or SUP and get out on the water instead. Or why not treat yourself to a Spa day at the delightful hotel which overlooks the beach and has a fabulous terrace where cocktails can be enjoyed in the Cornish sunshine? Carbis Bay has a small range of local shops and restaurants as well as a fish & chip takeaway and railway branch line. The train journey from Carbis Bay into St Ives is perhaps one of the most beautiful in the country; St Ives additionally makes for a great day out, with plenty of galleries to explore. The quayside town of Hayle also isn't far and is home to activities for the all the family, including a golf and a wildlife sanctuary.
