    “A great stay as usual thanks.”


    However upon departure I had cause to move the dresser in the double bed bedroom with the ensuite. something had rolled off the top and underneath. There was thick dust on the top of the skirting. Also, on stripping the bed in readiness for our departure, there was again a fair quantity of dust between the headboard slats... and the floor under the bed held a fine layer of dust which could only be seen when the sun shone through the window at certain times of the day - if you were looking that is- in all the above cases it was obvious that attention had not been paid to this over several cleans and given that we lost most of our booked first day in order that a 'covid deep clean' could be paid attention to, it was obvious this had not been done. There were a few crumbs of food in the kitchen wall cupboard too, right of fridge... Clearly NOT a deep COVID clean that we experienced when we stayed in White Sails the previous October (2020). Also, the towel radiator in the ensuite bathroom did not work at all... The front entrance door had swollen too and scraped the frame as it was opened and closed. The noise of this may disturb other tenants? Other than this, I would say the stay was fine, the apartment well equipped and comfortable. We would stay with you again without question, but probably not this particular apartment given the cleaning. I am asthmatic and dust is one of my lesser triggers so a clean and dust free environment is something I would be looking for, particularly around a bed area. We brought along our Dyson personal air purifyer for the very purpose of extracting dust from the atmosphere whilst we slept. I have photo evidence of the dust I spoke of if you are interested to do something about it for your future clients.

Entrance Hallway When entering this stunning apartment the welcoming hallway has a hall table and lamp, door intercom system and large mirrors. Living area This beautifully furnished room is framed with floor to ceiling windows and doors showcasing the stunning views across the bay to St Ives harbour and Island. There are two cream leather sofas with coffee tables arranged for guests to enjoy the views or alternatively the 40" Panasonic TV with sky package including movies and sport. An intelligent lighting system with mood spotlights and a selection of lamps are provided for you to set the perfect mood. Sliding doors open onto the terrace, allowing the light and sea air to flood in or for you to enjoy an alfresco drink or dinner. Dining area Open plan and sociable with the living and kitchen area. The dining area is positioned to enjoy a superb sea view across the bay. Seating four around an oak table with matching chairs, the table is a great spot to catch up on the days adventures or to sample a few Cornish delights. Kitchen The contemporary kitchen is comprised of cream high gloss units with soft closures and splash back and granite work surfaces. It is suitably appointed with an integrated Neff oven/grill, microwave, 5 ring gas hob, extractor fan, fridge, freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. A kettle, toaster and hand blender are provided and for coffee lovers you are sure to enjoy the Tassimo coffee machine, with complimentary coffee pods. The owners have taken care to ensure that you will have all the necessary crockery, glassware and utensils to enjoy your luxury home by the sea. Bedroom one with en-suite Bedroom one has a comfortable king size bed with bedside table and matching reading lights. There is a fitted wardrobe and a chest of drawers with mirror, providing ample storage. There is a patio door with direct access to the garden and sea views. For your entertainment there is a wall mounted 32" Panasonic LCD freeview TV. Bedroom one benefits from an en-suite bathroom, this has beautiful sandstone tiles and contemporary fittings. The en-suite bathroom to bedroom one is beautifully spacious and offers a white suite comprising of a large shower enclosure, WC, wash basin with glass shelf storage underneath, a chrome heated towel rail, large mirror and shaver point. Bedroom two Bedroom two has stunning views of the bay through the floor to ceiling 3 sided glass bay window. This enchanting room has twin beds, a wardrobe, bedside cabinet with reading lamp and matching dressing table and stool. If you tire of the beautiful views this room also has a wall mounted 32" Panasonic TV. Luxury white Egyptian cotton bed linen is provided for both bedrooms. Each room is also equipped with a hairdryer for guest use. Family Bathroom The spacious family bathroom is stylishly tiled throughout in sandstone, with a wash basin, WC, bath with overhead shower, heated towel rail, mirror with vanity light, shaver point and storage shelf. A selection of high quality towels comprising of bath sheet, bath towel and hand towel are provided per guest. Complimentary White Company toiletries are also provided in each bathroom. Patio Terrace The spacious seaward facing terrace is accessed via the sliding doors. Push back the doors to allow the fresh sea air in and to take in the panoramic sea views of the Island at St Ives across the bay to Godrevy Lighthouse. A patio table and four chairs are provided for enjoying alfresco meals or pre dinner drinks with fabulous views and a lovely garden. Parking One allocated parking space is provided within the gated car park.

Just a short drive from iconic St Ives, the seaside village of Carbis Bay is best-known for its beautiful stretch of pure white sand. With turquoise waters and sheltered conditions, the beach feels almost subtropical and is the perfect spot for a good old-fashioned day by the sea. The beach is also home to the Ocean Sports Centre, so if sunbathing is not really your thing, why not hire a kayak or SUP and get out on the water instead. Or why not treat yourself to a Spa day at the delightful hotel which overlooks the beach and has a fabulous terrace where cocktails can be enjoyed in the Cornish sunshine? Carbis Bay has a small range of local shops and restaurants as well as a fish & chip takeaway and railway branch line. The train journey from Carbis Bay into St Ives is perhaps one of the most beautiful in the country; St Ives additionally makes for a great day out, with plenty of galleries to explore. The quayside town of Hayle also isn't far and is home to activities for the all the family, including a golf and a wildlife sanctuary. The Godrevy Nature Reserve and Penwith Heritage Coast are also within easy reach from Carbis Bay, providing outdoors and watersports plans with even more activities to partake in, including coasteering and birdwatching. Carbis Bay is truly a wonderful holiday location for those wanting to experience Cornwall's breathtaking coastline.

Access to the apartment is across a pedestrian bridge from the parking area to the back of The Sands with level access to the lift. Lift access should not be solely relied upon as if not operational due to maintenance / fault you will need to use the stairs.
