    “We loved everything about this house.”

    It was spacious, even for 10 people. The fittings and facilities were of the highest standard and it was spotlessly clean. The kitchen was so easy to use, with all utensils etc that we could need, 2 dishwashers, 2 large fridges and a massive freezer and lots of storage space. Lovely large dining table and we never felt crowded as there were so many rooms and places to sit. The only thing we needed was soap for the bathrooms. We all took shower things but had to buy handwash for the basins. But ...

Beachcroft is a five-bedroom luxury holiday home in the heart of Carbis Bay in Cornwall. Beachcroft is a wonderful eco-friendly option for a family or group of 10 thanks to its convenient proximity to the beach and nearby restaurants and shops, as well as its stunning interior with historic original features dating back to the 1920s and breath-taking views of the bay and sea from nearly every room. The property enjoys ample off-road parking, a landscaped front garden with seating, and a side garden with decking and furniture, ideal for alfresco dining. The kitchen is bright and open, with everything you need to whip up your favourite meals, which can then be enjoyed at the dining table for 10 with bottles of your favourite tipple and awe-inspiring views of the ocean. In the adjoining utility area, you'll find everything you need to get the laundry done. Keep going to reach the welcoming sitting area, where you may unwind on the sumptuous sofas in front of the alluring woodburning stove while watching your favourite show on the television. There is a media room at Beachcroft where you can gather with friends and family to watch movies on a large screen while snacking on popcorn, play a board game, or challenge your loved ones to a game on the PS4. A handy cloakroom completes the ground floor. Five elegantly appointed bedrooms with private en-suite bathrooms and showers can be found upstairs, two super-king-size, one with zip/link, two king-size, and a twin with zip/link, providing a peaceful retreat at the end of the day. Just a short drive from iconic St Ives, the seaside village of Carbis Bay is best-known for its beautiful stretch of pure white sand. With turquoise waters and sheltered conditions, the beach feels almost subtropical and is the perfect spot for a good old-fashioned day by the sea. The beach is also home to the Ocean Sports Centre, so if sunbathing is not really your thing, why not hire a kayak or SUP and get out on the water instead. Or why not treat yourself to a Spa day at the delightful hotel which overlooks the beach and has a fabulous terrace where cocktails can be enjoyed in the Cornish sunshine? Carbis Bay has a small range of local shops and restaurants as well as a fish & chip takeaway and railway branch line. The train journey from Carbis Bay into St Ives is perhaps one of the most beautiful in the country; St Ives additionally makes for a great day out, with plenty of galleries to explore. The quayside town of Hayle also isn't far and is home to activities for the all the family, including a golf and a wildlife sanctuary. The Godrevy Nature Reserve and Penwith Heritage Coast are also within easy reach from Carbis Bay, providing outdoors and watersports plans with even more activities to partake in, including coasteering and birdwatching.
