Greenwood Apartment

Myself and my 1 non moulting miniature yorkie stayed, had to cancel my grandaughter staying ( and thank goodnress I did) could do this online but couldnt cancel my other dog who died.

Tried the automotive call back but no one phoned ,although an email said they had. I had not realized this was a holiday let in redidential flats, and did not also remember reading anything about steps down and up to the property. This is an old fashioned and outdated flat which I think judging by how my dog couldnt take her nose off the lounge carpet needed a thorough deep clean. On arrival she didnt want to go in..... Whilst staying I got bit twice on my torso and once on my thigh , dont know if this was from the settee or the pillows/duvet which had all seen better days. There is black mold on the bathroom tiles ,and the blinds need wiping they were full of dust. Getting the key is also a bit of a pain and somewhat confusing when sykes send you details via email which involve a load of signs and the number. Overall , I was glad to leave after 2 days, only 'slept' there really, but didnt sleep due to the man upstairs snoring all night, walls are so thin you can hear everything and all windows look onto white commercial walls. This could be a lovely flat , its in a great location just off the main road, close to rail station, bus stops convenience shop, chemist, hairdressers, and the flat itself has everything in it for a great holiday but needs updating , carpets need a thorough deep clean, could do with a new settee and general TLC.

Badly not clearly stated where the apartment is,had terrible trouble locating nothing saying greenwood apartments and not told we would have to go to a different place to pick keys up,did notice there was a few complaints about this in the guest book,also we was told in arrival the fan was broken in the bathroom and was promised this would be fixed nobody come all the weekend we stayed shower was so steamed up and with the hot weather found it very uncomfortable,this was also stated in the guest book of last people who stayed here so this must have been a on going problem that hadn't been done, cleanliness was very good and lovely location despite the time wasting of finding the apartment

I was very pleased with the property it was very looked after and had great facilities.

We went with a child and it wasn’t an issue at all. I would say the two seater couch needs up dating as it’s not the most comfortable. But generally we as a family enjoyed our stay and would definitely book again.

Lovely, clean and quiet flat with everything you might need for a week's stay.

Might be a bit on the small size for four adults but plenty big enough for us staying as a couple. Off-road parking also very welcome.
