With allocated off-road parking for one car, enter through the communal doors to your holiday home. From the entrance hallway, the open-plan living space is a place to relax, dine and prepare a meal or two in the well-equipped kitchen. The contemporary interior makes a welcoming space for gatherings around the table for breakfast and planning the day ahead. After a day on the beach, enjoy your evening feasts recalling the day's adventures. With two bedrooms, one with a double bed plus ample storage and the other a bunk bed room perfect for children. The family bathroom has a bath with a shower over, so choose an invigorating wash or a reclining soak to wash away those sandy toes. Carbis Bay Beach boasts golden sand and azure waters with a seasonal lifeguard service, perfect for swimming or surfing in a picturesque Blue Flag status secluded bay. Walk the South West Coast Path towards St Ives or the year-round pet-friendly Porthkidney Beach in the other direction, with a big sandy beach. If you fancy a fun train ride, the scenic railway line hugs the coastline with beautiful ocean views. St Ives is a fishing village with a pretty quay and an abundance of eateries, cafes and restaurants serving fresh local produce and seafood. Browse the characterful cobbled lanes with independent shops, galleries and boutiques. The town’s beauty has inspired many artists and is home to the Tate St Ives and the Barbara Hepworth Museum and Sculpture Garden, which features work from many famous artists. Just a short drive from iconic St Ives, the seaside village of Carbis Bay is best-known for its beautiful stretch of pure white sand. With turquoise waters and sheltered conditions, the beach feels almost subtropical and is the perfect spot for a good old-fashioned day by the sea. The beach is also home to the Ocean Sports Centre, so if sunbathing is not really your thing, why not hire a kayak or SUP and get out on the water instead. Or why not treat yourself to a Spa day at the delightful hotel which overlooks the beach and has a fabulous terrace where cocktails can be enjoyed in the Cornish sunshine? Carbis Bay has a small range of local shops and restaurants as well as a fish & chip takeaway and railway branch line.
