“We had a lovely stay at Hebaska.”
It was a peaceful location with a nice view overlooking the fields. A couple of things we would say, is that the sea view in the photos wasn’t quite the same in person, we could see a tiny peek of the sea due to trees and surrounding areas. Whilst we appreciate this may be out of your hands, the photos on the advert are very misleading. The cleanliness of the house could have been better - there were cobwebs in corners, the oven wasn’t cleaned and smelt, we couldn’t use it for the smell when it was turned on and one duvet had blood stains on. Also, following on from a review in March 2024, the shower in the main bathroom is still leaking, which meant only the shower in the en-suite was usable for the whole week.
Thank you for taking the time to leave feedback after your stay at Hebaska. We are glad to hear you found the location peaceful with the surrounding fields and greenery. We would like to assure you that the cleanliness points have been brought to the attention of the housekeeper and will be resolved going forward. The housekeeper has also confirmed that the stain on the duvet was in fact black ink which faded to brown with the application of the number of cleaning products used on a regular basis to ensure the high standard of cleanliness is continuously met. In regard to the shower leak, a member of the local office has attended to this.
