Just a hop skip and jump from the sandy shores, this apartment is ideally located for trips to the award winning Carbis Bay Beach and nearby fishing town of St Ives. The breathtaking views won’t be beaten and will give you a chance to gaze at the Cornish vistas from your very own holiday haven. Highlights - Kernows Dream is a ground floor apartment located in St Uny apartments in Carbis Bay. - Arrival 4pm, departure 10am. - Children welcome. - Sea views from the open plan living/kitchen area. - Regret no pets. Access - Access to the apartment level (except for 2 steps) and along entrance hallway from car park. - Detailed access statement available on request. Parking - One allocated parking space is provided within the St Uny apartments private car park, along with a visitor parking bay which is available on a first come first served basis. Additional pay and display parking can also be found close by at the train station car park. A storage area in the car park may be of use to those who wish to chain their bicycles. Hallway The carpeted hallway of Kernows Dream allows access to all the other areas of this delightful apartment. There is a secure intercom system located on the wall by the entrance of the apartment and as well as a utility room providing Zanussi Washer/Dryer and useful storage for hanging coats or stowing walking shoes after a day of exploring or roaming the beautiful coastline just a stones throw from your door. Living Area Kernows Dream has a bright spacious open plan lounge with wood flooring throughout. Full length bi-folding doors to the front of the property that lead you onto the balcony and fill the living area with light and add to the relaxing ambiance. With panoramic coastal views of St Ives Bay stretching to Godrevy Lighthouse. There is a 50" Flat screen television with Freeview, a Samsung 3D Blu-Ray DVD player with Samsung SMART TV Services for those times when you fancy a family night in with a movie and popcorn. There is a three-seat sofa with Manual recliner, 2 armchairs and a selection of books & games should you be looking for a quieter way to pass the hours. A Bush Ipod docking station is provided for listening to your favourite music whilst you watch the sunset. To allow you to set the mood a range of lighting including standing lamps, table lamps and overheard spotlights are provided. Wireless internet is available throughout the property. Dining Area The dining area is located in the open plan living area has a beech table with four dining chairs allowing you to enjoy a delightful home cooked meal. For those nights when you decide to dine out you are spoilt for choice with the range of high quality restaurants in the area serving local produce at a high standard. Spend the night fine dining in St Ives and watch the sun go down over a sea view to die for. If you are lucky you may spot dolphins playing in the surf! A high chair is provided for younger guests. Kitchen Kernows Dream has a contemporary open plan kitchen with white gloss fitted units and ample storage space. It has integrated NEFF built appliances, including an electric fan assisted oven with grill, electric hob, microwave and overhead stainless extractor hood, larder fridge/freezer, and dishwasher. Also provided is a hand food processor/ blender, kettle, scales and 4 slice toaster. Guests will find all the utensils, pots and pans that they could possibly need to prepare a meal in this thoughtfully appointed home from home. A breakfast bar is positioned to provide extra cooking space if required or so you may sit and enjoy a glass of coffee or wine whilst watching the chef entertain you with their culinary skills! Sleeping Bedroom One with En-suite The master bedroom is bright and airy with a neutral colour scheme and has been thoughtfully decorated with a flash of colour providing a refreshing modern theme. Relax on the king size bed, dressed in crisp white Egyptian cotton and drift off to sleep. There is a double wardrobe and chest of drawers providing ample storage for all your holiday necessities as well as a full length mirror. Two bedside cabinets with bedside lamps are located on either side of the bed. The master bedroom has fully fitted carpet and adjustable vertical blinds. For your entertainment there is a 25" LCD Freeview TV and a docking station which is compatible with a variety of devices. Bedroom Two Located at the rear of the property, this room has the advantage of patio doors leading to a paved patio area with seating allowing you let the light and fresh Cornish sea air to flood in. Bedroom Two follows the same neutral theme as the master bedroom, the twin beds have luxury pocket sprung & memory foam mattresses, oversized duvets and Egyptian cotton linen. A double wardrobe and chest of drawers are provided with ample storage. There are two bedside cabinet and lamps. For cosy nights relaxing in bed or to entertain the little ones at bed time, there is a 17” TV with Freeview. Bathrooms Bathroom One The main family bathroom of Kernows Dream has Villeroy and Bosch white suite comprising of wash basin, WC, large bath with shower overhead and a heated towel. This luxury bathroom is tiled with neutral and chocolate ceramics throughout and has a large mirrored cabinet with shelves providing a perfect storage place for your toiletries. Shaver point and vanity light ensures that all the essentials are at your disposal. Bathroom Two The en-suite to the master bedroom of Kernows Dream has a Villeroy and Bosch suite with large shower quadrant, wash basin, WC, heated towel rail, light, shaving point, a large mirrored cabinet with shelving. High quality bath sheets, bath towels and hand towels are provided for each guest. Outside Patio There is a charming paved patio area accessed by the second bedroom with two tables and four chairs where you can enjoy a leisurely meal . Alternatively you can relax with a morning coffee whilst taking in the morning sunshine.

Just a short drive from iconic St Ives, the seaside village of Carbis Bay is best-known for its beautiful stretch of pure white sand. With turquoise waters and sheltered conditions, the beach feels almost subtropical and is the perfect spot for a good old-fashioned day by the sea. The beach is also home to the Ocean Sports Centre, so if sunbathing is not really your thing, why not hire a kayak or SUP and get out on the water instead. Or why not treat yourself to a Spa day at the delightful hotel which overlooks the beach and has a fabulous terrace where cocktails can be enjoyed in the Cornish sunshine? Carbis Bay has a small range of local shops and restaurants as well as a fish & chip takeaway and railway branch line. The train journey from Carbis Bay into St Ives is perhaps one of the most beautiful in the country; St Ives additionally makes for a great day out, with plenty of galleries to explore. The quayside town of Hayle also isn't far and is home to activities for the all the family, including a golf and a wildlife sanctuary. The Godrevy Nature Reserve and Penwith Heritage Coast are also within easy reach from Carbis Bay, providing outdoors and watersports plans with even more activities to partake in, including coasteering and birdwatching. Carbis Bay is truly a wonderful holiday location for those wanting to experience Cornwall's breathtaking coastline.

Unfortunately, the gravel path, down the side of the apartments, to the communal gardens has been highlighted as not suitable for frequent use. The owners are looking at addressing this in the long term, but in the meantime they have installed 'no pedestrian access' sign to say that guests will be unable to use the path to access the communal gardens and therefore the communal gardens will be inaccessible via the path for the duration of your stay. We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience caused.
