Millie‘s apartment was just perfect for the Beach life.

Lovely walk to st Ives along the coastal path , the train station just at the top of the hill This was our first time travelling to Carbis Bay, and I do believe this was because of Millie’s apartment as it was just perfect. It had everything love the fact of the gate down to the Beach loved early morning coffee sitting looking out over the ocean so comfortable and clean. We loved it so much that we are coming back next July ♥️

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Millie's, it is a modern, clean, comfortable and well equipped holiday apartment with lovely gardens around and in a perfect position for our needs.

The layout of the small development gave us privacy on our patio area and the gardens provided a pleasant strolling area for our dog. Ideally placed virtually on the coastal path, and three or four minutes walk to both the wonderful Carbis Bay beach, and the railway station which turned out to be extremely helpful. A beautiful half hour walk to St Ives along he coastal path, but a three minute train journey at a cost of £1:10 single fare made evenings out in the town a doddle. We also used the train for day trips to Penzance and Truro. Would definitely recommend Millie's.

Beautiful gardens with stunning views, a very well equipped apartment and recently refurbished, so very clean indeed. However, there is a big BUT ? The beds are all very very uncomfortable indeed ! We'd love to book again, but would need to know beds have been switched before we did tbh.....

We had a super time staying in Millies, everything was just great.

We would like to make two tiny comments. 1, A bread knife would be really useful, assume there was one at some point. 2, A mattress cover in bedroom 2 when the beds are made up as a double would be more hygienic. Loved our stay and will definitely be back.

Millie’s is very welcoming; bright, cosy, a lovely modern decor and fully equipped with everything we needed.

Well maintained gardens with views. The back gate was a godsend and then only a 3 min walk down to the amazing beach and Carbis Bay hotel with it’s great cafe/restaurants. 25 min scenic walk to St Ives or Porthkidney beach/Lelant where you can then return by train. Large Tesco’s down the road. Would recommend 100% but just be aware access down to Millie’s by car is really steep, but once parked, we only used the car once for a day trip as there was no need otherwise. A great property and location!

What a really lovely place Millie’s is.

From the cleanliness of the place, the decor, the facilities and equipment, the views ,everything was outstanding and we couldn’t find any fault with it at all. Thank you to the owner, the cleaning staff and the gardener for keeping the property and grounds in such an excellent condition. My sister and I had an excellent weeks stay from the 10th to 17th May 2025 and the weather couldn’t have been better either.

Fantastic location, very clean, everything thought of and catered for.

Only criticism would be, maybe could do with a fold out stool for toddlers to use the sink facilities aside from that (and that wasn’t even a major issue) everything was perfect. We would definitely look at booking again

Lovely maintained gardens with a view from our bedroom looking over the gardens to the sea. A short walk down to Carbis Bay or take a costal walk to St Ives or Lelant. Amazing holiday and so lucky with the weather in October. Would highly recommend and would book to stay in Millie’s again .

Beautiful apartment stocked with everything we might need.

Stunning gardens and breathtaking views. The gate leading to the beach road/ path to station was ideal and meant we didn't need to use the car at all. Thank you for a lovely holiday!

Was our first visit to Cornwall & we had everything we needed!

The apartment & garden both stunning, beach a short walk away, regular train service 5mins away & only £2 return to st Ives & back. Majority of places dog friendly, We had an amazing break & will definitely be back in the future. Thank you

We loved this place.

It is the perfect location just a short-walk down to Carbis Bay beach and with easy access to the coast path for St Ives or Porthkidney Sands (which is always empty!). The property was exactly as advertised and key instructions etc were clear. The kitchen had everything required. Worth noting that there is limited inside space for dining (this is clear on the listing tbh) so the lovely outside patio area is the primary option.

The apartment was very comfortable and close to the beach.

We have stayed in this block of 8 apartments many times over the last 20 years. Very comfortable main bed and lovely shower. The single beds were not anywhere near as comfortable as the main bed. The shared outside washing line is great when sunny, but we had a few rainy days and the towel rail in the bathroom is not big enough to dry wet clothes. Why is there not a washer dryer or at the very least a clothes airier that can be put up inside to dry wet clothes? We stayed 2 weeks so the floor became dusty and sandy so a broom or access to a vacuum would have been nice. For the price we paid many places now have a pod coffee machine. There is not enough kitchen items. There is no pizza tray or pizza slice. We kept running out of clean mugs, plates and cutlery. The saucepans and cooking pots are far too small to cook for 4 people. We had to boil pasta across 2 pans while bolognaise was spread across 1 pan and the tiny frying pan. The high price of holiday lets these days means more and more people eating out less, so more stuff in the kitchen would be good.

This property was immaculate throughout and an absolute credit to the owners, the location is stunning and the property is very well equipped as well as very modern.

The complimentary condiments and the supply of cleaning materials were a nice touch and it really felt like home from home, thank you for a wonderful stay and we will definitely be back in the very near future.

Excellent apartment with all amenities.

In lovely position with great views from garden. Lots of steps and very steep hill so not ideal for disabled or anyone with walking difficulties. Vacating by 10.00am a little early especially as cannot get in till 16.00. Otherwise great.

Lovely property, with great access to beaches, train route, garden great for letting dog out.

We loved this property .

We walked into an immaculate, comfortable , well equipped , beautiful holiday home . It had everything we could possibly need. The views are amazing . Comfortable beds . The guide to everything in the property and surrounding areas was so helpful. 4 minute walk down to the sandy beach below . The driveway down to the property is very steep but we quickly got used to driving up and down it . The surrounding gardens are kept beautifully and give it a tropical feel. We will definitely be returning next year .

A really lovely spot and the accommodation was immaculate.

Bed very comfy, bathroom and shower fab. The lounge area is very cosy and the small patio with furniture great. Views awesome. It is a fabulous holiday home with all needs catered for within the property. The hill is quite daunting for a nervous or inexperienced driver, and this should be made clear as in the current description the 'very steep hill' sounds like a comment about walking up/down it.

Millies was excellent, had everything we needed.

The gardens were well maintained and had a nice view out to sea.

Lovely little place, I hurt my ankle slipping on wet floors on arrival n hurt my ankle so please be careful on way in as floors were soaking wet.

Rear gardens and views are beautiful just a little tlc needed in places ie entrances needed a sweep n weeds but nothing major n damp in bedrooms behind beds so move your luggage as ours got mouldy. Lovely welcome pack on arrival thankyou for that I actually went to source out the tea. Everything provided iron was a god send as I'd forgotten mine. Great little trek down to the local beach n they're beautiful. Nice walk down into St ives if you follow the train tracks down passing all the beautiful building and views, takes about half an hour on foot. Trains were a little noisey at times at bottom of property but got use to that after few days. Chilly on a night guys so take something warm had to pop heating on. I'd suggest bigger towels n maybe a few extra as drying them was hard n the drying area was shaded so had to buy 4 from asda . Bedding lovely and comfy. Did have a lovely stay and visited all the lovely areas the beaches are amazing. Local tescos and pharmacy few mins away so that was good. Very very steep road to the property and quite tight to get to if uve a bigger car so be careful driving down. Overall a lovely little place , few glitches but didn't effect out stay. Would highly recommend

Loved our stay and apartment is gorgeous, with great views.

Lovely and quiet. Good amount of utensils, pots etc in kitchen. It was chilli one evening so we put the heater on and it heated the room up very quick, turned of and room stayed warm for rest of evening. The only criticism and a small one is the sheets on the bed, they are too small, you need deep fitted sheets, the sheets kept pinging off the corners two or three times in a night. Loved our stay and would highly recommend this property.

We really enjoyed staying at Millie’s , all as advertised, very clean and well looked after, nice touches with welcome pack and small things that we often forget ( like salt and pepper, washing up liquid etc). We had a very nice 4 day break, lovely weather too, thanks again! Kevin and Karen

We had a lovely fortnight here at Millie's even though the weather was quite wet.

We absolutely loved the recliner chairs and shower and the beautiful garden and view. So lovely to be so near to the beach and we highly recommend fish and chips from Becks. We hope to be back next year.

Our second visit, this time in June.

Had a great time again. Fab walks. So nice to have the windows wide open at night, fresh sea air and listening to the waves. Thank you for our prosecco for returning guests - nice touch. Will be back again next year!

We had an amazing week here in this beautifully decorated property. It was immaculate and catered for everyone with all the mod cons and modern touch. Our first time in Cornwall was made so much for pleasurable in this home from home. We couldn't have asked for a more idyllic place to stay after our 7 hour journey and look forward to staying again soon. Thank you and kindest regards.

An amazing stay in this perfect holiday cottage.

All mod cons, beautiful fixtures and fittings., A view to die for and so tranquil (even the train doesn't detract). Spending the week here to attend my sons wedding at CBH. The setting for the wedding unbelievable. A stunning day to remember her at Carbis Bay. Very sad to leave but will be back at some point. With Best Wishes.

Lovely accommodation, in an idyllic setting.

Beautiful views and a great location for easy access to the train station or walking to St Ives. We didn't move the car for 3 days which was a real bonus. Our dog loved it too, especially the stunning beach on the doorstep - gate access was ideal. Would love to stay again in the future. Thank you!

We loved our stay in this wonderful spotless apartment. Great views and surrounding areas are fantastic. This apartment had everything we could possible need and more. We will be returning next year for sure.
