This reverse-level villa has an expansive open plan living area with floor to ceiling windows framing the beautiful view from Carbis Bay to St. Ives. It is mesmerising as the Cornish light changes over the glistening sea. This exclusive property has been furnished in contemporary style and fitted to the highest standards. Is one week enough? Highlights - Portside is a semi-detached villa located in Mariners Loft in Carbis Bay. - Hot Tub - Children welcome. - Regret no pets. Parking - An allocated parking space is provided on the driveway outside. Living Area Lounge The open plan lounge kitchen and dining area of Portside is extremely spacious and equipped with the latest technology. The luxury "Amtico" oak flooring throughout covers an area measuring 27' x 22' and enhances the feeling of spaciousness. There is a superb L-shaped sofa providing comfortable seating to enable guests to maximise the views across St Ives Bay from the villa. A 65" Samsung Frame smart TV set within a contemporary media wall with inset electric fire, with Full Sky package including Movies and Sport is provided, together with a Sonos surround sound which can be used for the TV, Spotify connect or the DVD player. The wide "floor to ceiling" glazing has french doors leading from the lounge onto a 27' curved glass balcony with table and chairs, from where one can enjoy the spectacular views across to St Ives. You will never tire of the ever changing colours of the sea from Portside and can also enjoy the dramatic sunsets over the bay. For those guests who need to keep in touch with the office, wireless broadband is provided throughout. Portside has a "Welcome Guide" packed with information about St Ives and its varied attractions. You will also find O.S. maps, walks, pub and restaurant guides, as well as a selection of games, books, and DVDs. Dining The open plan design of Portside has a dining area for you to relax and enjoy the benefits of a unique home cooking experience. With its designer kitchen, you need to imagine the pleasure of a relaxing evening meal with friends and family seating six at a large dining table. The reality will exceed your expectations. You are rather spoilt for choice with the number of quality restaurants nearby, some do offer a takeaway service alternatively, you can prepare your meal at home and enjoy comfort of your villa. On warmer days of course you may choose to dine "al fresco" on the superb balcony or private terrace. Kitchen The kitchen of Portside is one where there will not be arguments as to who prepares the family meal. This bespoke designer kitchen has integral appliances including a Siemens cooker, dishwasher and also a freestanding American Fridge Freezer with ice and water dispenser. The centre island has a glass induction hob and there are granite worktops throughout. A kitchen of your dreams at Portside, you will find all the modern gadgets and kitchen implements that you would expect from a holiday villa of this quality. With toaster, microwave and a "Bean to Cup" coffee machine the aspiring chef will always be kept amused. A Bose iPod docking station is provided to entertain guests whilst the meal is prepared. Utility Room There is a separate utility room next to the kitchen which incorporates the cloakroom and washer/dryer. Sleeping Bedroom One The Master Bedroom has a comfortable king size bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers and bedside cabinets with matching reading lamps. You can watch the wall mounted 32" HD LCD Freeview TV with Sky & Netflix. This quiet spacious bedroom will ensure that you sleep well after those long walks on the beach and cliffs. The master bedroom also boasts a fabulous en-suite. Bedroom Two The second bedroom is fitted with twin beds which can be made up as a superking on request, bedside cabinets, wardobes and drawers providing plenty of storage for guests visiting at any time of the year. A wall mounted HD LCD 32" Freeview TV with Netflix is also provided and patio doors open directly onto a delightful terrace. This area extends around the house to the side of the third bedroom, it has been designed to provide a Mediterranean atmosphere and offers a quiet area to wind down to the pace of Cornwall. Bedroom Three The third bedroom of Portside is fitted with a single 3ft bed, bedside cabinet, wardrobe, chest of drawers, reading lamp and 32" TV with Freeview, Netfix and a Playstation III. The very best White Egyptian cotton bedding is supplied together with a bath sheet, bath towel, hand towel per guest, in addition, because Portside is child friendly, a travel cot and highchair are provided. Please provide your own bedding for the travel cot. Bathrooms Bathroom One The clean lines of the family bathroom with whirlpool bath, together with power shower, designed to be of contemporary appeal will ensure an indulgent bathing experience. Complimented with a chrome heated towel rail, it has a large wash basin and WC. Bathroom Two There is an en-suite to the master bedroom which is elegantly designed with the latest sanitaryware, including a WC, wash basin, power shower and heated towel rail. High quality bath sheet, bath towel and hand towel are provided for each guest. Outside Balcony Perhaps the most stunning feature of Portside is the 27' glass and chrome fronted balcony. Designed in reverse level, the fully glazed floor to ceiling windows of the open plan living area open up to this amazing balcony. The view is directly towards St Ives across "One of the Most Beautiful Bays in the World". The sun also sets over St Ives so you can just sit and relax and watch the world go by and never tire of the ever changing colours of the sea and the sky. Terrace The patio doors from bedroom two open onto a delightful Mediterranean terrace where you can enjoy morning breakfasts or evening drinks. A table and chairs are provided for you to get away from it all and just relax, along with a hot tub to aid your relaxation. This is Cornwall so the pace is slower and the balcony and terrace provide you with the choice to reflect and plan your next visit.

Just a short drive from iconic St Ives, the seaside village of Carbis Bay is best-known for its beautiful stretch of pure white sand. With turquoise waters and sheltered conditions, the beach feels almost subtropical and is the perfect spot for a good old-fashioned day by the sea. The beach is also home to the Ocean Sports Centre, so if sunbathing is not really your thing, why not hire a kayak or SUP and get out on the water instead. Or why not treat yourself to a Spa day at the delightful hotel which overlooks the beach and has a fabulous terrace where cocktails can be enjoyed in the Cornish sunshine? Carbis Bay has a small range of local shops and restaurants as well as a fish & chip takeaway and railway branch line. The train journey from Carbis Bay into St Ives is perhaps one of the most beautiful in the country; St Ives additionally makes for a great day out, with plenty of galleries to explore. The quayside town of Hayle also isn't far and is home to activities for the all the family, including a golf and a wildlife sanctuary. The Godrevy Nature Reserve and Penwith Heritage Coast are also within easy reach from Carbis Bay, providing outdoors and watersports plans with even more activities to partake in, including coasteering and birdwatching. Carbis Bay is truly a wonderful holiday location for those wanting to experience Cornwall's breathtaking coastline.
