St Uny Apartments are a select development of seven purpose-built contemporary apartments on Boskerris Road, Carbis Bay. Certain apartments in the group enjoy the added bonus of being seaward facing and enjoy fantastic views from St Ives to Godrevy Lighthouse and beyond.


The property

Seascape at St Uny Apartments offers the perfect luxury self catering holiday accommodation in St Ives. Amazing far reaching, panoramic sea views can be soaked in and the apartment is so close to Carbis Bay beach, that within four minutes walk you can be playing on the golden sands. The spacious, contemporary interiors are teamed with a fabulous large terrace and patio area, ideal for enjoying relaxing lazy days in Cornwall. Highlights - Seascape is a duplex ground floor apartment located in St Uny Apartments in Carbis Bay. - Children welcome. - Regret no pets. No smoking. - Sea views from the open plan living/kitchen area and from the upper terrace. Access - Access from the car parking area is down 19 internal carpeted steps. 13 steps down to access the lower ground floor bedrooms. - Detailed access statement available on request. Parking - One allocated parking space is provided within the St Uny apartments private car park, along with a visitor parking bay which is available on a first come first served basis. Additional pay and display parking can also be found close by at the train station car park. A storage area in the car park may be of use to those who wish to chain their bicycles. Living Area Upon entering Seascape you are given a sneaky peak of the fabulous sea view from the living area. The utility cupboard in the entrance hallway is an ideal place to hang coats and store wellies or beach gear. Once you have entered the bright and airy open plan living area, we are sure the first thing you will want to do is open the bi-folding patio doors and take in the amazing panoramic sea views. These views can be enjoyed out on the spacious terrace or from the comfort of the contemporary sofa or armchairs, either way you will find it difficult to pull yourself away. Solid oak flooring is laid throughout and an entertainment unit is home to the 47" LG Smart 3D television with full Sky including Movies and Sport, 3D Blu-Ray player with a selection of films, a playstation 4 with two controllers with various games. Complimentary wireless broadband is also provided for your use. Dining Area A glass and chrome dining table with four matching white leather chairs are perfectly located between the kitchen and living area, making the most of the sea views through the floor to ceiling terrace doors. Meals can also be enjoyed out on the terrace as another set of table and chairs are provided for your use. Should you decide to dine out during your stay, The Loft on Norway Lane in St Ives is certainly worth a try. Kitchen The modern kitchen forms part of the open plan living area, making the most of the sea views. Ample storage can be found within the contemporary white gloss units, along with black granite work tops providing plentiful preparation space . Integrated Neff appliances comprise of a combinational oven, ceramic hob with extractor above, microwave, fridge, freezer and dishwasher. You will also find an extensive selection of utensils, crockery and glassware, along with a De Longhi Dolce Gusto Coffee Pod machine, toaster, kettle, Brita water filter. A telescope is also ideally positioned for watching the comings and goings in St Ives and the bay. Utility The large utility room is located on the ground floor next to the family bathroom, where a washing machine, tumble dryer, sink, clothes airer, ironing board and iron can be found. Sleeping Bedroom One with En-suite The master bedroom is located on the ground floor and offers an en-suite shower room. Double French doors open out onto the patio area, perfect for allowing the fresh sea air to flow in. A sumptuous king size bed, matching bedside tables and reading lamps, large integral wardrobe and a six drawer chest are provided. Both bedrooms are fully carpeted and offer a 22" LED backlit Freeview television with built-in DVD player, iPod docking station, hairdryer and blackout lined luxury curtains. The en-suite shower room to the master bedroom is fully tiled and offers a Villeroy and Boch freestanding wash basin and WC, along with a separate shower cubicle. A chrome heated towel rail and mirrored cabinet with shaver socket and light can be found. Bedroom Two The second bedroom at Seascape is also located on the ground floor, adjacent to the family bathroom and boasts double French doors out onto the patio. Twin beds are beautifully dressed with scatter cushions, a bedside table with reading lamp, large integral wardrobe and six drawer chest are provided. Luxury 100% Egyptian cotton bed linen is provided in both bedrooms with a selection of high quality towels for each guest. Bathroom The family bathroom at Seascape is located on the ground floor adjacent to bedroom one. This stylish bathroom is fully tiled with neutral and chocolate ceramics and boasts a Villeroy and Boch white suite which comprises a bath with overhead shower, WC and freestanding wash basin. A chrome heated towel rail keeps your towels nice and toasty, a mirrored cabinet with shaver socket and light is provided. A selection of high quality towels comprising of a bath sheet and a bath towel are provided per person. Complimentary White Company toiletries are also provided. Outside Seaward Facing Terrace The spacious seaward facing terrace is located on the upper floor and is accessed via the bi-folding living area doors. Push back the stylish doors to allow the fresh sea air in and to take in the astonishing panoramic sea views, from the Island in St Ives across the bay to the Godrevy lighthouse. Why not sit out on the patio furniture which comprises of a table and four chairs, perfect for enjoying alfresco meals with fabulous views? Ground Floor Patio The ground floor patio can be accessed via both bedrooms and offers privacy with two frosted glass screens.

Just a short drive from iconic St Ives, the seaside village of Carbis Bay is best-known for its beautiful stretch of pure white sand. With turquoise waters and sheltered conditions, the beach feels almost subtropical and is the perfect spot for a good old-fashioned day by the sea. The beach is also home to the Ocean Sports Centre, so if sunbathing is not really your thing, why not hire a kayak or SUP and get out on the water instead. Or why not treat yourself to a Spa day at the delightful hotel which overlooks the beach and has a fabulous terrace where cocktails can be enjoyed in the Cornish sunshine? Carbis Bay has a small range of local shops and restaurants as well as a fish & chip takeaway and railway branch line. The train journey from Carbis Bay into St Ives is perhaps one of the most beautiful in the country; St Ives additionally makes for a great day out, with plenty of galleries to explore. The quayside town of Hayle also isn't far and is home to activities for the all the family, including a golf and a wildlife sanctuary. The Godrevy Nature Reserve and Penwith Heritage Coast are also within easy reach from Carbis Bay, providing outdoors and watersports plans with even more activities to partake in, including coasteering and birdwatching. Carbis Bay is truly a wonderful holiday location for those wanting to experience Cornwall's breathtaking coastline.

Unfortunately, the gravel path, down the side of the apartments, to the communal gardens has been highlighted as not suitable for frequent use. The owners are looking at addressing this in the long term, but in the meantime they have installed 'no pedestrian access' sign to say that guests will be unable to use the path to access the communal gardens and therefore the communal gardens will be inaccessible via the path for the duration of your stay. We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience caused.
