Ives. Everything was catered for, top quality appliances, crockery, utensils and furnishings, in fact everything!! - The location is great, short walk to harbour shops and bars, and fantastic panoramic views. We will definitely be back

An amazing apartment with the best view in St Ives.

Both modern and cozy with everything you need for a relaxing stay in St Ives. Perfect location being so central, but so quiet you don’t hear a thing, other than the waves! Highly recommend.

The property was perfect for us.

Very easy to keep clean and ‘run’. The bed was especially comfortable! Obviously the spectacular view from the living space/balcony was the main attraction- rather like a living work of art. Fantastic to go to sleep listening to the waves. Parking and access on arrival with luggage, food supplies etc was the main problem . I made a hasty exit from the car with as much luggage as possible and wheeled it along to the apartment much to the frustration of other vehicles and passers by. My husband managed to find parking up behind the Tate. Perhaps a photo of Piazza entrance and parking warning might be helpful? Otherwise a fantastic holiday, great local restaurants, pubs, history, art ..and the Ocean!!

Great location, fantastic apartment with incredible views.

We had a lovely week in Louis Lofts. Everything we wanted to do was in walking distance. But overlooking the beach and being able to spend the days watching the sun rise / set was what made it extra special. I would say with the beach being on your doorstep, the apartment block needs a facility to be able to wash down / off the sand and a broom in the apartment. But you can work around this they would be extra touches.

An amazing place with the most unbelievable view!

We had a fantastic stay at Louie’s Loft and would definitely stay here again. It was so lovely waking up each day to the most stunning view of Porthmeor Beach. The apartment was modern and clean and certainly big enough for our family of 4. We used all the facilities such as oven, microwave, dishwasher. The direct access to the beach was really convenient, and everything was just on the doorstep such as shops and restaurants. We hired a parking space for the week at The Edward Hain Centre which was about 15 minutes walk away and would definitely recommend this as well. You are able to unload your belongings in the Piazza car park and we even had a Tesco shop delivered. An unreal week in St.Ives - we will definitely be returning!

The property itself was lovely As a couple we’d stay again, but not with others because of the Jack & Jill bathroom.

A washing machine would have been much more useful than a dishwasher. We don’t cook whilst away. We adored the balcony/view/location but were disappointed to find old seagull poo on windows/balcony. Expected this to have been removed before arrival. We were very unhappy with Sykes customer service or lack of The phone numbers provided were not in service - people directed to the on line portal/app. Even then questions were not answered. It was too hot to sleep and bedroom windows were locked & no sign of keys to open them. Also we couldn’t find a fan which meant we needed to sleep with the front door open - not ideal. If only Sykes had looked after us/answered the phone/responded to messages our experience would have been much better. We booked 2 properties concurrently with Sykes for this vacation but won’t use them again. We return annually and need the reassurance of having support when needed.

What an incredible place!

!! Apartment is to a 5 star standard all round. Beautifully decorated, comfy bed, great shower. I can not say a single negative thing about our entire stay. Such a luxurious apartment with the most wonderful view and sounds of the beach and waves. Easily the best and only place to stay if you visit Cornwall. Perfect in every way. 100% we will returning and recommending to everyone we know!

Wow what a place.

The location of this apartment is so perfect we didn’t use the car at all. We used the app just park to rent a car parking spot on someone’s drive and that solved the parking issues. The apartment was spotless and well equipped with everything we could ever have needed and more. We will be returning next year and feel so sad to of left - our best family holiday by far.

This property is probably one of my favourite places we've stayed.

It looks as though it has been recently renovated and it is incredibly well thought out for guests. It has, in my opinion, all the facilities you need for a comfortable and easy stay. With an easy walk to town (easy as in close, it is very hilly but we had no issues with the pram if you're happy to pick it up for stairs etc). We also had our two year old with us and it felt safe, and worked very well with the bunk bed room. The balcony and view is just phenomenal, it is obviously the highlight. It really is on the beach, and the sound of waves through the apartment will send you into a lovely lull of a sleep and it is very relaxing watching the waves, which when the tide is in, feels as though it engulfs the apartment. It's very special. We went in May, when we had a very small pocket of good weather (ie. no rain!) and it was still very pleasant. My son enjoyed the beach and the gate is directly under the property, with a little well to wash off the sand on your feet by the stairs, so was easy to go back and forth. I would think if we went in the height of summer, it would be even more unbelievable. If it wasn't such a drive away, I think I would have booked for next month already! There were two negatives which would be no parking but even then, there is room to unload and the car park is not far of a walk. It cost us £27 for 7 days at the long stay car park. I saw another review mention a broom for sand, there was a little hoover but yes, a broom with a dustpan would be incredibly helpful and is definitely needed. But these negatives, in my opinion, will not deter another visit and are incredibly minor.

Fantastic property with stunning views, the only downfall was the problems we encountered in getting to the property by car, parking to unload was tricky, and forward booking of the Island Car park did not guarantee a space.

Overall excellent property that was expertly designed, but we should have spent more time with homework on Google maps. If we did return would most likely go by train and cab.

Unfortunately the beds for us were very uncomfortable however everything else was perfect 5 stars

Under-floor heating didn't work the radiators only tepid even on maximum number 5
