Cornwallis Apartments are a prestigious development of eight spacious apartments on the site of the former Cornwallis Hotel on Headland Road in Carbis Bay. With dramatic views along Carbis Bay beach across to St Ives and to Godrevy Lighthouse.

Living Area Living Area The open plan living area comprises of the lounge and dining areas both of which benefit from stunning sea views. This panoramic vista stretches across the beautiful award-winning golden sands of Carbis Bay Beach and beyond to the stunning Cornish town of St Ives. Slide open the dining area’s patio doors onto your private balcony, with a glass of wine in hand, and wonder at the breathtaking Cornish sea view. Natural light beams in through the glass doors and lounge window flooding the living areas with a warm and welcoming glow. Two large comfy sofas and an additional chair, comfortably seating five, are conveniently placed to enjoy the magnificent sea views. When the sun sets curl up on the sofa in front of the cosy gas fire and enjoy a good film on the 55″ large Panasonic TV with DVD Recorder or chill out to music via the Bose Bluetooth Sound system. Dining Area The dining area, part of the open plan living area, is perfectly positioned to benefit from the wonderful Cornish sea views. Located to the left of the lounge and in front of the sliding patio doors, this is a fabulous space to entertain or enjoy a family meal. Natural light floods the space through the large glass doors and a wooden dining table comfortably seating six. Enjoy getting together with family and friends to dine in style with views over the bay. A matching bookcase with a selection of guides and books is ideally placed next to the table, perfect for planning your next adventure. Kitchen The kitchen is located in the centre of the apartment just off the hallway. Lit by natural light through a small window this well-appointed space is bright and welcoming to prepare your family meals. Designed with fully fitted units, this modern kitchen features a built-in double electric oven and microwave, a separate four ring gas hob with extractor above, a fridge freezer, dishwasher, and washer dryer. The owners have ensured you have a selection of all the crockery, glassware and utensils you need in your luxurious home by the sea. Utility Cupboard For your convenience, an iron, ironing board and clothes airier are stored in a separate utility cupboard located in the hallway. Sleeping Master En-Suite Bedroom The master en-suite bedroom is located to the rear of the property. This spacious room leaves you spoilt for choice with a private en-suite offering both a bath and a shower. After a long soak in the bubbles stretch out on the luxurious king-sized bed and relax. A wonderful image of pebbles in the sand on a beach sits above the bed and a coastal theme runs throughout. The room is brightly lit by natural light through the window. There's plenty of space for your holiday outfits with a chest of drawers and a double wardrobe with glass sliding doors. Two bedside tables with lamps, a hairdryer and Sony radio alarm are also provided. Bedroom Two Bedroom two is located towards the rear of the building with access to the en-suite shower room. Offering two single (3 ft) beds this comfortable twin room is well lit from natural light through the window. There is an integral single wardrobe, dressing table with drawers, mirror and matching bedside tables with lamps. A beachside coastal theme allows the room to enjoy a relaxing feel perfect for a good night's rest. Enjoy a movie on the 26" Panasonic TV before you drift off to sleep. Bathrooms Master Bedroom En-suite The en-suite to the master bedroom has a bath and enclosed glass shower, so you can choose between a lazy relaxing soak or a quick refreshing shower. Tiled throughout the wet areas this spacious en-suite features a washbasin with shelf above for storage, WC, heated towel rail, shaver point and mirror. Bathroom Two The second bathroom is large with Jack and Jill with access from the hall and also serves as an en-suite to the second bedroom. Tiled in the wet areas it features an enclosed glass shower plus WC, washbasin with shelf above for storage, mirror and heated towel rail. Just a short drive from iconic St Ives, the seaside town of Carbis Bay is best-known for its beautiful stretch of pure white sand. With turquoise waters and sheltered conditions, the beach feels almost subtropical and is the perfect spot for a good old-fashioned day by the sea. The beach is also home to the Ocean Sports Centre, so if sunbathing is not really your thing, why not hire a kayak or SUP and get out on the water instead. Or why not treat yourself to a Spa day at the boutique hotel which overlooks the beach and has a fabulous terrace where cocktails can be enjoyed in the Cornish sunshine? Carbis Bay has a small range of local shops and restaurants as well as a fish & chip takeaway and railway branchline. The train journey from Carbis Bay into St Ives is perhaps one of the most beautiful in the country.
