Gwel Marten Apartments occupy a superb position on Headland Road at Carbis Bay. With dramatic views along Carbis Bay beach across to St Ives and Godrevy Lighthouse in the other direction.

If you are looking for space Blue Vista delivers. From the imposing private entrance guests are welcomed to Blue Vista with a breathtaking 180 degree panorama of St Ives Bay. Perhaps one of the most stunning frontline penthouses in the area, this spacious apartment, over 190 sqm, with a 40' living area and seaward balcony offers fantastic family accommodation and a perfect getaway for discerning visitors to West Cornwall. The suntrap rear terrace is perfect for enjoying the Cornish rays. Just a short walk to the beach, coastal footpath, rail link to St Ives or nearby golf, this is a special holiday home ideal for guests looking for spacious, light interiors and magnificent coastal views. Living Area Lounge Area Blue Vista has a superb spacious living area with a balcony running the full width, you can enjoy probably the finest views of St Ives Bay in the area. Just sink into either of the sofas and be mesmerised by the ever changing colours of the seascape. After enjoying the stunning sunset over St Ives, perhaps have some family fun or just relax and enjoy the extensive entertainment package on the wall mounted 49" LCD Smart TV with BT Sport and complimentary Netflix subscription providing an extensive range of films, TV series and documentaries. Complimentary super-fast Wifi broadband is provided by BT Infinity, Playstation 4 with a selection of games and a 2 x USB charging station. For your comfort there are two electric radiators offering thermostatic and on-demand controls. As well as an informative "Welcome Guide" packed with information about the locality, you will also find information on gardens, maps, walks, a selection of games, books and videos as well as a box of toys for the children. Local prints and scenic photos decorate the walls throughout the apartment. Dining Area With a choice of some of the best restaurants in the area and, just a 5 minute journey on the train, you will of course be tempted to try the local fine dining. Perhaps the best opportunity to enjoy stunning sea views from your dining table, is in your apartment! The dining area seamlessly flows from the lounge and enjoys the same panoramic views and is adjacent to the kitchen. High chairs are provided for younger guests and you will find everything you need to make an extra special meal. The dining area has a table and chairs for eight, and for alfresco dining, the balcony has two tables and eight chairs. Entrance Hallway The bright and spacious hallway offers two comfortable armchairs, making for the perfect place to enjoy a quiet read. You will also find a useful coat hanging area along with a utility cupboard where the iron and ironing board can be found. Kitchen Kitchen So often, holiday chefs miss out on the company of their fellow guests when preparing meals, not in Blue Vista where they enjoy the stunning views as the fully fitted modern kitchen is part of the open plan living area. The kitchen has everything, beautifully fitted ivory units with a cooker, grill and large oven. There is a microwave, dishwasher, large fridge-freezer, as well as a washer and dryer. You will also find a fantastic selection of utensils, crockery and glassware, toaster, kettle, a Nespresso coffee machine and a 2 x USB charging station for your gadgets. Sleeping Blue Vista is ideal for two families or large groups with two double bedrooms and two twin bedrooms. Bedroom One The master bedroom is very spacious and is decorated in neutral tones. A comfortable king size bed, two bedside tables and reading lamps are provided. There is a very large triple mirrored wardrobe providing plenty of hanging and draw storage space. The master bedroom also boasts an en-suite bathroom. Bedroom Two A bright room with double aspect windows, bedroom two has twin single beds, bedside tables, reading lamps and large integrated mirrored wardrobe and dressing table, providing plenty of storage. Bedroom Three The third bedroom of Blue Vista has a king size bed, large triple mirrored wardrobe with hanging and drawer space and a dressing table with two bedside tables and reading lamps. Bedroom Four The fourth bedroom also has two single beds, large triple wardrobe, bedside tables and reading lamps. Light streams in from the sky light, with a blind to block out the light for a sound night's sleep. For your entertainment there is a 32" LCD screen for watching DVD's and playing the Nintendo Wii, a selection of dvd's and games are provided. Luxury white bed linen and towels consisting of hand, bath and bath sheet are provided for each guest, we do ask that guest provide their own beach towels. Complimentary White Company toiletries are also provided in each bathroom. Two complimentary travel cots are provided for younger guests, please note that cot bedding is not provided. Bathrooms Bathroom One The spacious family bathroom can found off the hallway and is located next to bedroom four. Fully tiled with neutral floor and wall ceramics and the modern white suite comprises of a bath, separate shower cubicle, WC, wash hand basin with built-in storage underneath, back lit vanity mirror, shaver socket and a heated towel rail for keeping your towels nice and toasty. Bathroom Two The shower room is located off the entrance hallway and offers a double walk in shower, wash hand basin, WC and large vanity mirror. Bathroom Three The en-suite bathroom to the master bedroom offers a stylish modern white suite which comprises of a p-shaped bath with shower overhead, WC and wash hand basin with built-in storage underneath. A back lit mirror, shaver socket and heated towel rail are also provided. This bathroom is fully tiles with the same neutral ceramics as the family bathroom. South Facing Terrace The south facing sun terrace is located to the rear of the property and is a fantastic little sun trap, perfect for soaking up the Cornish rays. Communal Gardens The beautiful communal gardens of Gwel Marten, which are mainly lawned, are available for guests to use and benefit from stunning views and access to the South West Coastal Path and the beach. The stroll around the headland to Porthkidney Sands is a must as is the 20 minute coastal walk to St Ives

Just a short drive from iconic St Ives, the seaside town of Carbis Bay is best-known for its beautiful stretch of pure white sand. With turquoise waters and sheltered conditions, the beach feels almost subtropical and is the perfect spot for a good old-fashioned day by the sea. The beach is also home to the Ocean Sports Centre, so if sunbathing is not really your thing, why not hire a kayak or SUP and get out on the water instead. Or why not treat yourself to a Spa day at the boutique hotel which overlooks the beach and has a fabulous terrace where cocktails can be enjoyed in the Cornish sunshine? Carbis Bay has a small range of local shops and restaurants as well as a fish & chip takeaway and railway branchline.
