Elanora

This was our second stay at Elanora and find the accommodation very clean and comfortable hence the reason for our return.

Would certainly consider booking Elanora again if we visit Carbis Bay.

We had a wonderful stay at Elanora, Carbis Bay.

The apartment was perfect. Every detail was catered for - the kitchen was well equipped and robust; the appliances - oven, coffee machine, fridge freezer with ice maker, washing machine and drier worked well; the beds were enormous, very comfortable with beautiful linen; the lounge chairs were spacious for the three of us and very comfortable; the Juliette balconies gave a marvellous view of Carbis Bay; the three tvs enabled us to watch Sky tv to our hearts’ content and the two bathrooms were clean and well functioning. Absolutely amazing place. Thank you very much to the owners, Carbis Bay holidays and Sykes for providing such luxury accommodation. It was exactly as described by the photos.

Elanora is the perfect place to stay.

It gives you the wow factor the second you walk in, the photos do not do it justice - it is so much more spacious than it looks on the photos. We enjoyed the amazing view and sunsets from the balcony. The apartment is located on a quiet road with easy access and secure parking. It is literally 5 mins walk to the train station which we made good use of going both ways to St Ives and St Erth in fact we only took the car out to get supplies from Tescos (short drive up the road) and to Becks Fish and Chips which is definitely worth a visit. We also enjoyed walking along the coastal path (both ways) from the gate at the bottom of the garden, the terrain is up and down but is worth the effort! The beaches also should get a special mention they are beautiful. The apartment is perfect, comfortable and short of nothing, it’s the extra touches that make the difference like a coffee machine with pods and milk frother, illuminated magnifying mirrors, binoculars, recliner chairs, ice maker, games, books, cleaning equipment etc etc I could go on - I actually can’t think of anything that isn’t available to make your stay one to remember. If you’re reading the reviews to decide whether to book or not my recommendation would be to go for it! We would love to return.

The property was very clean and well maintained. The photos don’t do it justice and it was more spacious than I anticipated. The view from the balcony is amazing and we was lucky enough to see a fireworks display from st ives. There is everything you would need for a week or two away. I would highly recommend this property and will be looking to stay again ourselves at some time.

Absolutely love it! The apartment is beautiful & the view is stunning. The apartment has everything you could possibly need. Very clean & very comfortable. Lovely touches e.g the telescope, beach towels, coffee pods & the welcome pack. Such a great location. Loved sitting on the balcony for morning coffee & aperitifs. Would definitely return.

We absolutely love Elanora, our 2nd time of staying there, and would have been our 3rd time if it had been available last September.

Everything has been thought of in this beautiful apartment to make all who stay, most comfortable. It is decorated throughout very tastefully. An added bonus this year was the super king size bed. The views are spectacular, we love sitting on the comfy settees and looking across the bay to St. Ives, seeing the train through the trees, watching the ever changing sea. We will definitely be back. One small complaint is the position of the electrical socket underneath the dressing table in the main bedroom, very difficult to reach to plug hairdryer in.

Monika does a brilliant job of keeping this apartment spotless and I can't think of anything that the owners haven't provided to make the stay comfortable and memorable. Everything is of a high standard and it feels like a home from home - we wouldn't hesitate to recommend this beautiful apartment with the most amazing views.

The level of presentation was excellent.

The property was spotless and all credit must go to the cleaner. We visit Cornwall 3/4 times a year and found this property to be the best we have stayed in. The only issue was that the lift was not working and we were not warned of this and it was not repaired during our stay.

If I'd known you providing welcome gifts I would have perhaps made mention of my non drinking, no gluten, no diary needs.

Mother enjoyed the biscuits, chocolate and prosecco , and the apple juice was very nice, thank you. An over abundance of marvels around every corner ! A very good selection of cookware, it was quite a joy to use the kitchen. The beds were super comfy, loved the top sheet ! So few places use them these days. The telescope was a fun way to waste a few minutes, hours, from time to time, and Netflix was much appreciated. We didn't get as far as the PS4 but the boardgames were welcome. The balcony seats, with those super soft cushions was a delight, we ate out on it a couple of tones, and when it got a bit chilly we Popped ot inside just by the doors to get the best of both. All in all one of the best places we've stayed.

A beautiful apartment. A lot of thought has gone into furnishings, linen and equipment. Have been visiting Carbis Bay most years since the 1950’s and Elanora is by far the best! A big thank you to Monika and the team who keep the apartment spick and span. We will be back next year. Jeff and Jane

Eleanora was a beautiful apartment, kitted out as though it was actually our home.

We had absolutely everything we needed for our stay and the sea views were spectacular. The apartment was spotlessly clean, so hats off to the owners for facilities and housekeeper for cleaning everything so immaculately. Incredibly comfortable beds and linen, bath towels of excellent quality. Carbis Bay beach is just 5-10 mins walk (down quite a steep hill for those with disabilities or less able to walk - does have a car park £20 per day) which is a lovely and clean, dog free beach. St Ives a short train ride away for more choice of restaurants and beaches for a change of scenery. Again beaches seem to be no dogs allowed, which suited us as a family with young children. Watch out for the hungry sea gulls if you get fish and chips :) Harbour Cafe and Tala Thai in St Ives two great restaurants. We hope to stay again in Carbis Bay, and would definitely stay in this apartment!

Fantastic property, with stunning views.

The location is ideal, with the beach the train and some restaurants within easy walking decent. The apartment comes stocked with everything a family could need - not once did we go looking for a utensil/household item and fail to find what was needed. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would love to return in the future!

Wow just wow, what a dream holiday, this property is absolutely amazing and fits well in a superb part of the world.

Had a very enjoyable stay at Elanora.

Very well equipped. The owners seem to have thought of everything you could possibly need and it was spotless. The views from the lounge and bedroom are spectacular. We enjoyed watching the Euros on the 55" lounge TV. Think it worth pointing out that the fuse tripped in the kitchen. An electrician showed us what to do if it happened again (it did once more). We think it was when we had the kettle and oven on together. This, however, did not spoil our stay and we would highly recommend Elanora.

We have stayed here so many times because we absolutely love it.

Elanora never lets us down, and any support required is always on hand, luckily we will be back in July for a week. Only downside is it’s fully booked for months ahead, but we will be keeping a watch for cancellations!! Thanks to Pam and Chris for the thoughtful gift they left for my sister’s birthday, it was much appreciated.

We have stayed at many Carbis Bay Holiday properties and this is the best one so far.

Beautifully furnished and appointed, with an amazing kitchen and utensils. The outlook from the full height windows is stunning and the beds and bedrooms are so comfortable. An excellent property guide was much appreciated. Well done to the Owners, their apartment is simply superb. We will certainly be booking further stays at this first class property.

Elanora is absolutely beautiful.

The apartment was clean, comfortable and very well equipped. The view from the balcony was stunning and it was a joy to sit there and enjoy breakfast, cup of tea, aperitifs etc. The little touches just added to the experience. For example, the welcome pack, plenty of dish washer tablets & coffee pods. Even beach towels were provided. Great location too! We can’t praise the apartment enough. It was just stunning. Would love to return.

Just returned from an amazing holiday in Elanora.

The apartments amenities where the best we have ever had, The owners had thought of everything. Loved the utility which included beach chairs, wind breaker & picnic basket. The apartment was spotless and had the most amazing views. The apartment was very spacious for 4 adults. Beds very comfy . The location was superb for the beach and places to eat . It was right near the station so easy to get to st Ives . We were lucky with the weather so spent a lot of days on the gorgeous beach. Which is better than any carribean beach we have visited. We will definitely be returning

We stayed at Elanora last year and decided to return as it’s such a wonderful apartment.

Fully equipped with everything you need and very comfortable furnishings. The views are breathtaking! Great location too - about a 30 minute walk to St Ives if you don’t mind the hills (a lovely scenic walk though) or the train station is a 2 minute walk away and you can be in St Ives within 5 minutes for a £1 train fare. You can access the SW Coastal path from the bottom of the garden. We enjoyed the stunning walk to Lelant and back from here. Highly recommended apartment.

We have stayed in many apartments/villas over the years, but in all honesty Elanora was the best by a country mile.

The quality of the furnishings/equipment and decor was beyond first class. And that view!!! That alone was worth the rental The owners should be very proud of their property.

Everything we could ask for and more! I’ve never stayed in such a well equipped apartment the hosts have genuinely thought of everything. The Prosecco & milk in the fridge were really appreciated after a 6 hour drive not to mention a decent coffee❤️ Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this apartment and hope to come back and visit again.

Everything we could possibly want. Thank you for such detail to needs. Most comfortable. Home from home. We were staying in Carbis Bay for our niece's wedding and using our car for the wedding car. We needed sellotape for the ribbons and of course Elanora saved the day, as according to instructions we wouldn't need sellotape, but did, and Elanora had some. You have also given us ideas for our second lounge revamp!! Spectacular views, beautiful beach. We will definitely visit again. Thank you so much.

What a fantastic apartment!

The setting, location and the views were perfect and it was so well appointed. Although we caught the tail end of the stormy weather, I cannot think of a better place to ride it out. The sea views were definitely the highlight. We a regular visitors as I come back to see the family a few times a year. We will definitely be returning. It was a joy to stay here!

What a fabulous apartment!

There was everything you could think off, even a Christmas Tree for our Christmas break. Home from home with excellent furnishings and facilities and stunning sea views from the Lounge and Master Bedroom. Would highly recommend and will definitely be returning to Elanora.

Loved staying at the Elanora, my sister and I have stayed in other properties in same block and always enjoy being there.

Fabulous views whatever the weather, really appreciated Sky Q to all rooms. Have checked out same 2 weeks in 2022, but prices seem to be at least £500 plus over this years price. I appreciate that the Covid situation has caused huge problems in all areas, but the price hike seems to be excessive.

I start by saying that we love Elanora and have stayed there on 4 occasions.

We have used Carbis Bay Holidays for a number of years, since the joining or forces with Sykes, I have found the Website less user friendly. Our biggest feedback for yourselves is the HUGE price increases. The difference between a 2020 stay and 2022 stay in the same apartment for the same 2 weeks is an increase of 68% (SIXTY EIGHT). This is horrific, even in the current climate. The increase from 2020 to 2021 was high enough but 2022 has priced us out of this accommodation. This is hugely disappointing and upsetting. All this does is alienate your regular customers who will not be hot footing it back to foreign destinations once flight restrictions ease.

The view from the apartment was breathtaking.

Everything appeared to be spotlessly clean and the facilities and gadgets were the icing on the cake. My husband particularly liked the ice maker!

It was only a short walk to the station when we didn't feel like walking into St Ives. I like to cook and was pleasantly surprised to find there was everything I could need. Even bakeware so I could make my own cakes and Cornish cream tea. Elanora is a very stylish and comfortable apartment, the pictures really do not do it justice. Gorgeous Elanora

This was our second stay our last was in the summer, this time we stayed over the new year period and had an amazing stay, the apartment is finished to a very high standard and there is everything you could ever need, even a tape measure!!! (we had an argument about who was tallest) We loved watching the seals (we spotted 6!) using the telescope from the warmth of the lounge, we could also see right into St Ives, and the view from the sofa's out to sea is so relaxing. Would highly recommend, we will be back!

"Our second visit to Elanora apartment Barepta Cove and once again we had the most amazing time. The apartment is beautiful with everything you can think of and more, the little touches making it so special. The views are simply spectacular and if you manage drag yourself away from the veranda, Carbis bay beach is a short walk (down a steep hill). The beach is lovely and clean and family friendly and never felt overcrowded. The train station is a few minutes’ walk from the apartment and the short journey (approx. 4 mins) to the bustling beautiful St Ives is well worth a trip. We did this several times and it was good for going out for dinner in the evening. It is such a stunning part of the country and the location and standard of the apartment is exceptional, I’m sure we’ll be back for a third visit. "<br/>Jane Roles

"We spent a fabulous two weeks at Elanora from 21st Sept. - 5th Oct. Everything about the apartment - from Danielle's welcome, the decor, the furnishings, and all the equipment was absolutely top of the range. (The motorised settee with USB charging point was a great hit - really want one for us). Everything had been thought of for a care-free holiday. The reason for our holiday was to help in my husband's recovery from heart surgery by having plenty of rest and relaxation; which was definitely achieved after our two weeks stay at Elanora. What can one say, I have been on a lot oh holidays abroad, e.g. Italy, but this apartment and the attention to detail beats everything. We have visited Carbis Bay every year for the last 10 and enjoyed every place we’ve stayed, but nothing rivals Elanora.

All of the extras make it a lovely holiday home. Views are wonderful. Hope to be back.

We had a lovely break in the beautiful Elanora.

All the luxury from home but with a view to die for! We’ll be back and so will a lot of our friends and family because we don’t stop telling everyone about this beautiful spot.

We have stayed in apartments here on many occasions; must say, the Elanora is wonderful!

When you leave the beauty of, say, Kynance Cove it is lovely to think that you have such a wonderful view when you get home.
