“The property was very stylish, modern, clean and comfortable and very well equipped for all of our needs.”
As a family of 5 with 3 teenage children and a dog, we had lots of space. We were very lucky with the weather and were able to visit lots of the Cornish coastline. If we could have plucked the house from its current location to another area of Lelant it would have been ideal.
However, the rear garden is not secure (although this could be easily remedied) which meant that our well behaved dog could never be left out of sight in the garden - not even for a second, which was frustrating as during our stay the weather was beautiful and we would have loved to have had the bi-fold doors on the property open to the garden, but could not risk the safety of our dog.
Parking at the property is difficult - the house caters for up to 8 people so it is highly likely that visitors are going to have two cars. It was impossible to fit one of our cars into the small garage and consequently we had to park further away in the village each day, which was not ideal.
The house is located in a cul-de-sac immediately off the very, very busy A30 which is the main road into St Ives. In places there is no foot path on this road which made walking for both ourselves and our dog, very difficult.
