Pebbles

Stayed at Pebbles for 4 nights recently.

5 adults plus a small dog. What a wonderful property. Very clean, bright and spacious. 2 balcony areas. Top floor bedroom has a sliding patio door, leading into a small balcony with 2 chairs and a small table. Views over the town and the sea as a backdrop. Lovely sight to wake up to. Other bedrooms and bathroom are clean and modern. Plenty of room in the open plan living area on the ground floor with a well appointed kitchen. Couldn’t figure out how to get Sky TV working but no real issue tbh. Didn’t use the car parking spaces provided as we chose to use the local public one which was nearer (albeit with a charge). Sally the owner is very proactive and called us straight away when we couldn’t operate the electric blind in the bedroom. We have already booked to return here next year. The best property we have stayed in St Ives over the past few years. Thank you.

Comfortable beds and quality linen. Sea view from upstairs balcony. Great location, just a couple of minutes walk into the town. Would recommend!

We absolutely loved our stay at the Pebbles, couldn’t fault it.

Amazing location so close to all the shops and plenty of places to eat nearby. Had all the facilities and amenities that we needed with fantastic proximity to the surrounding beaches and harbour. Beds were super comfortable, soft towels, and all high end fittings. The house exceeded our expectations and we would definitely return. I would note the stairs can be a little bit tricky so anyone with mobility issues or little ones should be aware of this (baby gates are fitted). 10 out of 10 would highly recommend!

We had an enjoyable stay at Pebbles.

Very convenient for shops, bars and beaches. The house was in lovely condition, we had some issues with the WiFi which needs updating in the guest instruction book and with the bins. We were disappointed with the lack of communication and updates with our queries. The beds were comfortable and plenty of towels too. Some basic items like kitchen roll, foil, salt and pepper would be useful. The welcome gifts were lovely. Overall we had a lovely stay and the issues we had were with the property management rather than the property.

What a beautiful house!

My friends and I really enjoyed our stay in St Ives. The house was comfortable, spacious and the location was perfect - just a 5 min walk from the centre of the town and harbour! The beds were especially comfortable and the accommodation was well represented in the listing. There were just a few minor things we noticed during our stay. We would have appreciated an additional lock on the front door that could be secured from the inside, as this would have helped us feel a little more secure at night. The balconies could also benefit from a clean, as they were not in a condition we felt able to fully enjoy. In the second-floor bedroom, the shutter blinds let in quite a lot of early morning sunlight, which made it difficult to sleep in. Lastly, during warmer weather, having a fan available in each bedroom would make the rooms even more comfortable. Overall, these were relatively small points, and they did not take away from what was otherwise a lovely stay. We would happily recommend the property and would consider staying again in the future.

We had a lovely time at Pebbles as a family of 6 plus our dog.

The location was perfect, close to Harbour beach, shops and restaurants. We enjoyed having a balcony and en-suite in the loft room. The cleanliness and facilities were great.

Overall very happy with the accomadation .

Beautifully decorated very clean and well equipped. A few things to point out , the front door didn’t have a security lock and had a gap at the side, the door to the en-suite wouldn’t close from the bedroom side . It would have been nice to have been provided with a surface cleaner and some kitchen roll . It was very clean but on arrival the terraces were quite grubby and could have benefited from a good sweep . We had a problem with an arieal over the roof of the loft banging all night so lost some sleep but once reported was dealt with quickly.

The property was fab, great location, everyone appreciated the effort made by the owners.

The interior was lovely and the owners had made sure you did not want for anything. The internet was bad, and it failed halfway through the week but it did come back on a couple of days later. It wasn't an issue for us, the parents, we weren't there for that we were there for the holiday and St Ives, the property was nice and relaxing to return to at the end of the day. I would 100% recommend the accommodation to friends and family and will book again when we return. Thank you from the Davies family.

My family and I spent the Christmas holidays in this property.

The house was spotless and had everything we needed for our stay. They even put up a Christmas tree.

What an amazing property!

! Thank you for allowing us to visit stay for our holiday. Everything about it made our holiday even more perfect.

Lovely property, very clean and welcoming, close to town and the harbour but far enough away to be nice and quiet.

Only downside was the allocated parking which was half a mile from the property and all uphill but you have to expect difficulty parking in a place like St. Ives with its narrow streets. Highly recommended.

Pebbles is such a lovely place to stay.

The owners have really gone above and beyond to create the perfect holiday home. The decor, the tech., everything that makes a kitchen, the furniture, the bedding - in fact everything was of really high quality. We had the best time exploring St Ives and enjoying the beaches and surf. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this accommodation.

If I could I would have give more then 5* this is amazing cottage with full of luxurious touches in every detail of the decorations.

Very comfortable beds . The interior of the cottage have high end everything including decor furniture everything . TV’s in every room very good high speed internet. Very spacious also have balcony as well. From outside you can believe this is same property. Big pay and park car park right next to the property I think owner should mention this it’s would make easier for people . Also they have free park which is far we couldn’t find parking and the keys so didn’t really bother about this as we prefer park closer so we did pay and park . But I would like to say big thank you to property owner it was nice and so clean end of our stay we bought our own cleaning products and left as it’s found . Definitely recommend you guys highly this cottage. Also Sarah left us nice cotton shopper with st Ives pictures on it bag to take home . Only thing I would advice don’t book through Sykes as they let you down last minute but book through other booking providers. Thank you Sarah

The cottage is fabulous!

If anything I’d say the photos and description don’t do it justice. It is beautifully appointed and has everything you could ever need for your stay. We were a family of 5 adults and it was utterly wonderful. Really short walk from all St Ives has to offer. We will definitely book again.

Pebbles was so clean and tidy, we loved our stay there.

We loved the walk- in showers and the children loved the huge bath. The main bedroom had a great balcony with a distant view of the sea. I will definitely be rebooking.

Stunning house, we loved it.

Would have been 5 stars for all except an issue with the blind in the main bedroom which meant we had no privacy for the first 3 nights of our 7 night stay. I called to report it not long after our arrival on the Friday and was offered a call back. This didn't happen and when I tried Sat morning they were closed until Monday. Called again Monday morning and the issue was resolved that day so thank you

We loved the Pebbles!

Location was great, only 5mins walk away from the centre of St Ives and main beach. Tech was great with TV’s and Sky in every room which kept everyone happy during those wet days and family sofa nights. Parking was 10mins walk away (as described) but saved us £12 per day on parking which was worth the walk! Everything was high end and really good quality, would highly recommend and would definitely stay again.

We had a privacy issue with the master bedroom which was dealt with immediately, we appreciate it couldn’t be resolved as not viable so the offer of compensation was greatly appreciated.

Without this issue we would have scored 10 for everything, although maybe not the weather! We will be recommending Pebbles to family and friends Thank you

We stayed in this property a few years ago also and really enjoyed the location and house then.

The renovations that have happened on this property are really special. The property was good before but it is outstanding now! Everything is of the highest spec from the layout, the furniture and linen down to the smallest detail like the cutlery. The child gates were a great addition too. The weekly linen change was appreciated and the lady who came communicated with us in advance to set the best time for us. We really enjoyed our stay and truly felt like we were at home. 100% we will be booking pebbles again! One constructive piece of feedback (although I fully understand the challenges of St Ives) is that the parking space is quite far away. Previously the car parking space was at the top of Windsor Hill which was more convenient. Small thing though and ultimately pleased that there was parking included at all.

Wonderful property, super location, spacious, perfect for 5 of us (4 adults & 1 child), no outdoor space but a nice outdoor seating area on first floor and an outdoor shower for any surf gear on ground level.

Lovely view from top floor bedroom. Quality of property is absolutely superb with wonderful extras, we had such a fabulous time and spent a lot of time in the evenings in the house. Great fun and had the best weeks holiday. We were aware the parking was at a separate garage which wasn’t a problem for two cars and lots of space for the parking, it was a bit of a trek up the hill so that was the one and only downside however we didn’t mind at all & wouldn’t put us off rebooking. Parking is always a premium in St Ives! Thank you for such a fabulous holiday property!
