“I don’t think it is appropriate to have deliveries turning up almost everyday.”
We have a dog and had to block part of the garden off as delivery drivers kept walking through the gate and knocking on the door. Very inconvenient and added stress to our stay.
We are very sorry to hear you have been disturbed by deliveries turning up during your stay and thank you for making us aware. We can assure you that we will pass this information on to make sure guest staying at St Ives View in the future will not get disturbed. Nevertheless we are very pleased that you have rated your stay so high in regards to cleanliness, accuracy of the listing and comfort and hope you overall still had an enjoyable time at St Ives View. We want to apologise for the inconvenience caused by the deliveries and hope that we get the opportunity to welcome you back in the future. Best wishes, The Carbis Bay Holidays Team

St. Ives View is a charming cottage that sits on a hilltop just a short distance from the heart of town and the sands of Porthminster Beach. This three-story cottage welcomes groups of up to six people for a relaxing and enjoyable stay with stunning views of the island, St. Ives' historic harbour, and the bay. Through the gate on the roadside, you'll be on the first floor, where you'll find a double bedroom, a single bedroom, and a charming snug room outfitted with a Smart TV and chesterfield sofas. The balcony, which looks out over the private garden, is also on this level and provides a lovely place to relax and take it all in. Take the exterior stairs down to the ground floor, where you'll find a cosy open floor plan with a kitchen, dining area, and living room that's equipped with everything you need for a self-catered stay. The bathroom is spacious as well, with a freestanding tub and Smart TV for watching television while you relax in the tub. The master double bedroom, which has the best views in the house, and a second, smaller bedroom (which can be used as a twin) are located on the third floor. Step outside the first floor dining room onto a patio that leads to a grassy garden with a side herbaceous, vegetable, and fruit garden that benefits from southern exposure. The side balcony offers a great place to kick back and take in the breathtaking scenery, so make sure you make the most of it. Visit the beautiful St. Ives harbour, learn about the area's history at the Saint Ives Museum or the Captain Sir Richard Francis Burton Museum, and satisfy your artistic cravings at one of the many St. Ives art galleries, such as Tate St. Ives, The Leach Pottery, or the Barbara Hepworth Museum and Sculpture Garden. Penzance is home to the Penlee House Gallery & Museum and a lovely promenade ideal for a leisurely bike ride and a picnic. If you want to get some exercise, you can hike the South West Coast Path, and if you want to spend some time on the water, you can book a fishing trip or a sea safari. St Ives View has this and much more in store for you.
