Could not fault the property!

The apartment was clean, quiet, and only a short walk into the town, so it was perfect for us. We would definitely stay again!

Perfect location

The property was amazing and exactly what we needed after a day of exploring St Ives.

It had everything we could possibly need and was a lovely place to come back to each evening. However, it was disappointing that the main bathroom toilet wouldn’t flush. This meant we had to contact the maintenance team on a daily basis, which wasn’t ideal during our stay. If there hadn’t been an en-suite available, we would have really struggled. Overall, a great property, but the repeated issue with the toilet did take away from the experience.

The apartment was wonderful, very clean, comfortable and attractively furnished with everything we needed.

The location was good. We would definitely have given the property 5 stars but there were a couple of issues during our 3 night stay. The key safe did not work when we arrived on the Saturday. We tried ringing the contact number , but it took over 45 minutes to get an answer. We waited another 15 minutes for someone to arrive with a spare set of keys to let us into the apartment. The key safe was fixed on the Monday morning and we were given a second set of keys. The other issue was with the flush on the toilet in the main bathroom which was dripping from when we arrived, and on the Monday evening it started to run continuously. It stopped after a couple of hours, but we did not risk using the flush again, large saucepans of tap water seemed a safer option. A couple of other points - the directions to the property have not been updated since the new section of the A30 was completed. Also, the parking space is quite tight so may be tricky if you have a long car.

Absolutely stunning, a beautiful apartment.

Very high spec accommodation with loads of extra touches that gave it that home from home feeling. In a fantastic location just a 10 minute walk from St Ives town center and the beach. We will be back next year.

Third stay here and booked again for next year.

Good value for money. Situated ideally to be able to walk to the main area where the shops pubs and restaurants are but also quiet enough to have peaceful time when needed. Lovely view from the balcony. Yes can’t recommend this enough.

It was a great apartment with everything we needed and everything kept in a nice way.

There is a loose door handle on the washing machine cupboard (just FYI) but otherwise all perfect. Plenty of towels (we didn’t use them all as we often used the ones in the spa) and the kitchen was really well equipped. The info pack was very useful for the technology. Thanks for thinking of it all.

property was immaculate and had everything that one could need. The views over the bay are spectacula. The properties close proximity to the beach and harbour was an added bonus, without having to deal with driving through the narrow streets of St Ives. We used the spa facilities and pool at the Harbour Hotel, which is just across the road from the apartment, which was really nice way to relax after a hectic day exploring the Cornish coast. I would highly recommend this accommodation and would definitely use again in the future if available.

The flat was beautifully warm, clean and had everything you might need.

It was lovely having access to Sky Sports etc. and also we very much enjoyed having use of the Spa at the Harbour Hotel. This all made it a very enjoyable and relaxing winter holiday, thank you! A warning that the car parking space is extremely tight (it is the middle space along the right hand wall) We were fortunate in that the adjoining space for flat 12 was not occupied, otherwise it would have been difficult with our SUV. Also worth mentioning is that access to the flat is round the back, up a small flight of steps. Once inside, the lift is of no use as the entrance is between floors with no access to the lift at that level. The entrance to Atlantis is up half a floor by a flight of stairs - so not suitable for anyone disabled. A note for the flat owner that the toilet in the bathroom was overflowing into the toilet pan constantly and wasting expensive S.W Water!

Absolutely fabulous stay for October half term, accommodation was fab, like home from home.

Fab with the games, jigsaws and playstation. Super comfy beds. Deffo need to stay again. Couldn't fault it at all.

Excellent appointment and we really enjoyed our stay.

We will be returning! Only one bit of feedback, the wi fi was really poor and given the importance of having internet access I’d recommend upgrading the wi fi to a speed that will actually load apps and internet pages. Other than that, absolutely loved it.

We’re back from a fabulous holiday at Atlantis.

The owners have thought of everything that may be needed for a family holiday. We loved the location and being able to easily walk into town/ walk to the beach/get the train. An added bonus of a car parking spot, although it was tight with an estate car. Overall we’d recommend and would love to return.

We found the property exceeded both the description, and our expectations.

Well furnished and comfortable, clean, well presented and attractively decorated. We were particularly impressed with the range of books, games and entertainment options, and the property 'manual' was detailed and helpful. It was the perfect base for our visit to St. Ives, close to a wide mix of restaurants and shops. Thank you.

Atlantis apartment has a side sea view from the large balcony which covers the lounge and the master bedroom. Comfortable king size bed in master ensuite, and comfortable single beds in the 2nd bedroom.

Excellent property and a return visit for us.

Will definitely be booking again as it is very comfy and the spa passes are great.

Having booked a week we could see the property was available to go 2 days earlier which we requested- there was no response from Sykes we had to chase to discover it had been okayed but we were not made aware.

We then had to deal with an internal water leak which woke us up dripping in the bedroom. With bowls and towels we were able to minimise damage and report it asap. Very surprised we have no acknowledgment of our efforts to protect the property, we sent photos and email as requested to Carbis bay holidays, disrupting our planned Christmas week day. We have had no apologies from yourselves, carbis bay holidays or the landlord .

Great location and perfect accommodation for a family.

Had a wonderful one week stay in October 23.

The apartment was spotlessly clean with everything you will need during your stay. A very nice touch with milk, tea, coffee fruit juice and biscuits on arrival. Very well placed in St Ives with gentle sloping walks to the sea front. The parking space is a real bonus in St Ives! Very easy self check-in and out. Many thanks to the owners and we hope to visit you again sometime in the future.

This is a very homely appartments where we felt immediately comfortable and relaxed, with lovely homely touches from soft furnishings to pictures, Nespresso coffee machine and cable television.

This is a beautifully decorated and furnished apartment with lovely sea views from the balcony.

We made ourselves at home straight away and enjoyed stepping out onto the balcony from either patio door. The bed and living room furniture are comfortable and the bathrooms are modern and useful to have an en-suite. We loved staying at Atlantis and thank you for the bottles of milk, lemonade and biscuits. The only constructive criticism is we had nowhere to put tins/bottles in the kitchen, it missed another wall cupboard but we just put them in the corner out of the way. We don’t have an Espresso machine and it was a nice touch that we could have coffee and use the machine. Everything in the property is done to a high standard. It also came with a dedicated parking space which is hard to find in St Ives. We would definitely recommend Atlantis

Lovely apartment, in a great location close to beaches and town centre, but away from the hustle & bustle, and therefore quiet in the evenings.

Bright and airy, very well furnished with lots of homely touches, all with the bonus of secure allocated parking space. Brilliant...what more could we want?!! Thanks to the lovely owners!

We enjoyed our stay at Atlantis.

The apartment was modern and well equipped and we would stay there again. The Harbour Spa passes were a big plus. A block of kitchen knives and a good pair of kitchen scissors would be useful. All in all we would highly recommend Atlantis.

This was our second stay at Atlantis .

Just the two of us so plenty of room . Everything we needed for a relaxing week , coffee machine a welcome addition . Also we used the spa and had afternoon tea at the Harbour hotel .. being able to do this was the selling point . Perhaps a more comfortable/bigger chair in the lounge would make everything perfect . Will definitely look to book again .

Super apartment in an excellent location.

We loved staying at Atlantis. Specious, light and airy…… this flat had everything we could have wanted and more.

The apartment was very well equipped and very comfortable.

The only thing was for me the shower was not warm enough.

Wonderful stay at Atlantis 11, nothing to fault on.

The apartment is well located to the centre of St Ives. All amenities in the apartment lent for a superb comftable stay. There is a plethora of board games, puzzles, cards to occupy you and some little travellers. Lovely little touches on arrival like tea, coffee, biscuits, shower accessories. The added bonus that has to be mentioned from my boys was the PS4 with appropriate games. The WiFi was great, I had to work a few days so no problems with connectivity. Overall a wonderful stay in a wonderful apartment. Thank you making our stay so comfortable, we will definitely be back!

We arrived Thursday evening and found two small glass tumblers, one was chipped.

The seal to the bottom of the shower door to the bath was broken and hanging off. The bottom tray in the door to the refrigerator was broken so we couldn’t use it. We had to remove a shelf to put milk in the refrigerator. The bottom tray in the salad container in the refrigerator was also cracked. I telephoned the number in the pack around 9.30am on Friday morning to report these issues as we didn’t want to be held responsible. I said I wasn’t worried about the issues being fixed immediately, the lady I spoke to said that someone would pop around with new tumblers. Nothing was delivered during our stay. It didn’t worry us too much.

We’ve had a really great holiday ,the holiday apartment was so nice, lovely and warm with no need to put the central heating on in fact we had to open the patio doors because it was so warm.

Plenty of utensils, kitchen equipment and appliances were all very easy to use, the bedrooms were clean and comfortable, the bathroom was all that we needed. Overall we were very satisfied with the property.

We had a lovely stay we usually stay at Gallinas Point due to the quality of the apartments,location and parking this was our first stay in Atlantis.

Just a couple of things of little things that we feel need some attention , the main bathroom had some mould , the plastic seal on the shower glass had come away and needed replacing also the height getting out the bath was a little difficult. We didn't use the ensuite shower as it was quite tight. The Kichen had nowhere to put any food we used the vegetable rack there is a good space at the side of the bin that a larder cupboard could go or more units. There were lots of mugs but not many glasses could do with a few more. The shelf in the side door of the fridge has a broken catch so we couldn't put anything in that and a couple of scuffs on the paintwork in the main bedroom. These are all just little things to make you aware if you were not already just constructive criticism and obviously due to wear and tear.

Great location and good size apartment felt like home from home mainly has most of the furniture is the same as ours, balcony is great has you get the sun on it most of the day

Overall the accommodation was lovely.

A few minor issues were lack of space for food, the bed to the rear of the property was very uncomfortable and the pillows were in need of updating. Draws by the side of the bed wouldn’t stay closed and the bedroom door kept opening if you had the window slightly open, maybe a catch issue! The en-suite bedroom the shower was very small and lost temperature and pressure. Couldn’t access some channels on the tv, like now tv and had some issues with the remote controls. I must compliment the overall decor of the apartment and the bedding and towels were of good quality. Little extra touches of shortbread, milk and mini toiletries were nice too!

Property was lovely, furniture good standards, beds very comfortable & sheets were lovely.

On arrival our parking space was taken - after waiting an hour we discovered it was the cleaner to one of the other properties (she was running an hour late & had chosen to park in our space which meant we had nowhere to park as there are no other spaces) Phoned the holiday company for help & they said there was little they could do - so had the car not moved I’m not exactly sure where we would have parked. Most parking spaces on the complex are very small and not big enough for a large car. Where we had to park it was a struggle to fit in. Wifi didn’t work at all - contacted holiday company who said they’d send someone out on the Monday (we arrived in the Saturday) but nobody ever came. They did provide us with another wifi code which did work but still wasn’t great. Handle on the door to one of the cupboards in the hallway was hanging off - looked like it had been for a while so couldn’t get into that cupboard. Description of the property says it has a utility room - it doesn’t - it has a cupboard with a washing machine in it. Main bathroom needs attention with pointing in on the tiles. The shower cubicle in the en-suite is tiny - literally even a smaller person struggles to move in it. Towards the end of the week the shower also wouldn’t get hot so had the use the other one. The dining table is in the hallway which we found odd - like there was nowhere else to put it - photos make it look like there is a separate dining room but there isn’t. Literally no space in any cupboard in the kitchen to put food - seemed to be lots of useless items in the cupboards which meant no room for anything else. The property was advertised as having Now TV but it didn’t work - we thought it was the remote control but changed the batteries and still didn’t work. Overall a nice apartment but a lot of the ‘extras’ advertised were misleading and wouldn’t stay there again. We have stayed in another apartment in the same complex which was by far superior to this one.

We have stayed at Gallinas Point before (Clearwater 2019) and were very impressed by the quality of the accommodation and location.

Had a bit of a problem getting past the barrier as instructions supplied a bit lacking in detail. They should be updated to say that when you arrive the LCD panel says ‘Enter Flat Number’ - don't put your flat number in as this activates intercom! Key in ‘0’ and press enter, the screen will say ‘Code’ and then put in the last four digits of the code supplied and press ‘Enter’ - simple once you know! The ‘Aquarius’ property was really comfortable, well furnished, clean and as shown in the brochure. Everything was really excellent. The only observation we would make is that it would be good to update the description of the Nespresso machine to say that it uses Virtuo pods not the standard ones as none of the stores/supermarkets in St. Ives, Carbis Bay, West Cornwall Shopping Centre or Hayle currently stock Nespresso Virtuo capsules so once you’ve used the ones supplied (9), your only coffee option is the cafetière or instant.

The property is in a great location for walking into St.

Ives and also Caribis Bay beach. Loved the apartment and the side view of Porthminster beach. The kitchen is well stocked but there is nowhere to put your own groceries. The decor is lovely and the bed in the main bedroom is very comfortable. We slept extremely well. The main bathroom needs updating. There is a big step down out of the bath to the floor which I would imagine may be an issue for some people. The bathroom floor needs regrouting. The en-suite shower cubicle is very small so anyone larger simply cannot use it. The door also does not completely shut. If we had been sharing the apartment this would have been a major issue. The toilet flush buttons were quite hard to push and sometimes needed two hands. The patio door locks are very fragile and we didn’t like to lock them as we felt that the key or lock may break. Apart from the above niggles we loved staying there. The little touches like milk, biscuits etc. on arrival was appreciated. Little extras like leaving a shopping bag, umbrella, coffee pods etc are great. All in all a great holiday. If the bathrooms were updated I would not hesitate to return.

My partner and I stayed at Atlantis for a week.

The apartment is in a fantastic spot and great for exploring nearby, as well as having good transport links to further afield. The apartment had everything we needed, was exceptionally clean and was definitely a home away from home. We were welcomed with milk, apple juice and biscuits - very much appreciated after a long drive! We hope to be able to come back in the future.

We arrived at the property around 5 pm.

The key safe instructions are very misleading. We got through the car park barrier ok and then “looked for a key safe on wall to the left of the property” which we couldn’t find. However, we used the code for the communal door and went up to the apartment to find the key safe on the wall to the right of the apartment door as you look at it! I think the instructions need clarifying. The apartment was exceptionally clean and tidy and was as seen on the website. We used the king size bed which seemed a little small and was quite low to the ground and not particularly comfortable. In hindsight, we should have used the two single beds zipped together which were proper divans and higher but we didn’t. We did have a problem with the Now tv box in that there was an age restriction of 12 years set on the films. We should have been able to override this by putting in a pin code given in the information book in the apartment. However, the pin in the book was not the one set on the tv. We rang the company who weren’t much help. They said they would contact the owner and get back to us which they didn’t do and so our viewing was restricted. Both being over 60, it would have been nice to watch an odd movie made for over 12s but overall it didn’t ruin our break. On the whole we were very happy with the apartment and would definitely use it again.

Beautiful apartment in a great location.

We had a lovely 7 day stay in Atlantis.

The location is great and not far from St Ives town at all. Only used our car to pop to nearby Tesco’s, just be prepared to walk up steep hills coming back at the end of the day! The apartment was clean and had all we needed with nice touches like easter chocolates on arrival. Disappointed the PS4 didn’t work as it was one of the reasons we booked and the dining chair leg came off when my husband sat on it. The apartment could maybe benefit from a refresh (bathroom grouting and balcony furniture). The 9am checkout is far too early and having 2 young children it was impossible to be out at that time so sadly we had to leave the day before. Overall we would visit again in the future.

Loved it .

Just the two of us so plenty of space to relax . Everything you could need in the apartment . The decider this time was use of the Harbour spa and that was such a good call . Went across to use the spa but also had treatments , excellent . The weather wasn’t great ,the gamble you take staying in the UK so relaxed and read our books . A week wasn’t long enough and will definitely book again . Only one negative was the en-suite was very small but not sure you can do anything with that . Well done owners

Atlantis was everything we could have wanted.

The location is perfect and the apartment itself was perfect. There is nothing we would have changed and would definitely stay again and recommend.

This is a lovely apartment and I was very happy with it, very comfortable with excellent facilities.

A great location too, as the town and beaches are within walking distance. Will definitely book again.

9am checkout was too early and not customer friendly.

Small point the dishes in the top cupboard are very difficult to reach, impossible if your short. Very nice property good location and the spa was a fantastic addition.
