Visit one of the many wonderful National Trust sites this Easter in Cornwall. Spring is always about embracing the outdoors, especially when you’re able to enjoy time together as a family – nature really is the perfect solution to family fun, regardless of rain or shine.
In Cornwall, several National Trust properties are hosting Easter egg trails, including (but not limited to!) Trelissick, Godolphin, and Glendurgan. When you navigate the trail you will find Easter inspired activities for the whole family to enjoy, so be sure to plan ahead and not miss out on the fun.
Prices are £3.50 per trail (in addition to entry fees) and this includes an Easter trail sheet, bunny ears and a chocolate egg (dairy or vegan).

The Eden Project is renowned for its fantastic family-friendly activities and events throughout the seasons. This year is no different. The Eden Project has lots in store for those spending Easter in Cornwall. Pre-book your timed entry ticket, and enjoy exploring the magic of Eden via adventures and games including a scavenger hunt, wildflower artwork, crazy golf, and more.

Enjoy lots of fun at Paradise Park, taking part in their annual Easter challenge around the site this April! The whole family is sure to have a great time testing their knowledge in the ever popular Golden Egg Challenge quiz, which will run throughout most of the month. Once the quiz is completed, contestants can claim a yummy chocolate reward!
But that’s not all, Paradise Park is home to over 1,200 birds, as well as red pandas, red squirrels, and Asian otters. It’s not just an award-winning wildlife sanctuary – it also has a huge indoor Jungle Barn play centre for fun in any weather.

We couldn’t compile this list of Cornish Easter events without including one of the most loved gardens in the region. Spend your time in Cornwall this Easter, exploring the network of magical gardens, woodland and farmland at The Lost Gardens of Heligan. You can even enjoy Easter Sunday roast lunch at the Heligan Kitchen, comprising locally reared meat and produce grown nearby.
Visitors this April can also discover the beauty of spring. Learn about the variety of trees across the estate, grab an activity book to help guide you along the trail to the Play Meadow, and take part in some tree-themed crafts. Easter also wouldn’t be complete without a trip to Home Farm where you’ll find chicks, lambs, and lots of info on their rare-breed babies.

Catch an incredible show in a stunning setting at the famous Minack Theatre. Taking centre stage this Easter in Cornwall is ‘The Mermaid Zennor’.
This family-friendly production tells the story of how a school trip to Zennor takes a magical turn when a mischievous spirit recruits children, their teacher, and even the Vicar to re-enact the legend of Mathey Trewella and his mermaid love. Filled with energy, music, and fun, this reimagining of a classic Cornish tale whisks audiences from the depths of the Celtic sea to the misty shores of Cornwall.

Head to Pendennis Castle for an adventure quest this Easter in Cornwall. Little adventurers will need to hunt for clues in the castle grounds and crack their code to earn a tasty reward.
