    “We had a peaceful quiet comfortable stay,one of the best we have stayed in carbis bay/st ives .”

    Would love to return again. One very slight moan was being a coffee drinker there was no caffeteare or capsules for coffee machine to set us off . And no games .only electric mp 4 player not suitable for non tech folk.

Barepta Cove Apartments are situated on Headland Road on the old site of the Tregorran Hotel. This stunning development is perfectly positioned to maximise the views across Carbis Bay beach (formerly known as Barepta Cove) and towards St Ives.


The property

Anchors Rest is a stunning ground floor seafront apartment in the sought after Barepta Cove Apartments in Carbis Bay with direct access onto the South West coastal path and a short stroll to the beach. Floor to ceiling windows in the living area and master bedroom, perfectly framing the panoramic views from St Ives round to Godrevy Lighthouse, lets you truly appreciate your idyllic Cornish coastal setting. Anchors Rest has been stylishly themed throughout by its owners with influences from their worldly travels. Parking - 1 designated space is provided within the secure gated car park. Living Area Hallway Upon entering the property there is a useful coat hanging area and video entry phone. Living Area The spacious living and dining area is dominated by the fantastic view so the sea and bay through the floor to ceiling windows and doors. The sliding doors provide direct access onto the private terrace allowing you to enjoy an alfresco meal or just let the light and fresh air flood in. Sit back on the comfortable four-seat sofa with chaise and enjoy the view or watch your favourite film with the 55" smart TV with Netflix, or stay in touch with the complimentary WiFi. An adjustable standard lamps, dimmable spotlights, footstools and side tables help to make you perfectly comfortable. Dining Area The dining area with oak table, bench and three stylish chairs are conveniently situated between the kitchen and living area, perfect for socialising with those who are busy in the kitchen. Alternatively, the terrace is a wonderful place to enjoy al fresco dining during the warm summer evenings. Take in the beautiful sea views across St Ives Bay and relax to the pace of Cornwall. The bookcase also located in the living area houses a selection of books to enjoy. There is wood flooring throughout the living areas of this luxury apartment. Kitchen Kitchen The contemporary kitchen is located to the rear of the property with a large opening into the living and dining area allowing you to full advantage of the amazing sea views. The rear window also allows additional natural light into the kitchen, with a Venetian style blind provided for your privacy. The modern white gloss, soft close units and black granite work tops provide ample storage and preparation space. Integral appliances comprise of an electric oven/grill, microwave, fridge/freezer, full size dishwasher and gas four burner hob with extractor above. The spacious kitchen also has a toaster, kettle, coffee machine, and all the crockery and utensils you would expect from an apartment of this quality. There is a wooden breakfast table provided with two matching chairs for enjoying breakfast or socialising with the chef of the day. The washing machine and tumble dryer are in a large cupboard in the hallway. Sleeping Bedroom One This bright and spacious bedroom has floor to ceiling sliding doors with stunning views which open onto the private terrace. It is carpeted throughout with a beautifully dressed super-king zip and link(6 ft) bed, which can be arranged as a twin upon request, matching bedside tables with lamps, five drawer chest of drawers and large wardrobe. The fantastic views and coastal location are reflected in the large built-in double wardrobe ensuring you have ample space to stow away your belongings. There are two comfortable rattan armchairs provided for gazing at the views. This stunning room also benefits from its own fully tiled en-suite bathroom with complimentary White Company toiletries and hairdryer for guest use. Bedroom Two Bedroom two is located to the rear of the property, the matching twin beds and luxury Egyptian cotton bedding will smooth the way to a comfortable night’s sleep in this quiet room. A large built-in double wardrobe with mirrored doors offers plentiful hanging and shelf storage, a bedside table with reading lamp. Carpet is laid throughout, with pendant lighting. Luxury cotton bed linen is provided in both bedrooms with a selection of high-quality towels for each guest. Bathrooms Family Bathroom The family bathroom provides a shower cubicle, WC, large wash basin , heated towel rail and mirror with shaver point. Bedroom One Ensuite Bedroom One ensuite comprises of a white suite with a bath and overhead shower, WC, twin sinks with storage underneath, a chrome heated towel rail, large mirror with shaver point. A selection of high quality towels are provided for each guest along with complimentary White Company toiletries in each bathroom. Both bathrooms benefit from underfloor heating. Outside Seaward Facing Terrace The spacious seaward facing terrace is located via sliding doors from the living area and master bedroom. Push back the doors to allow the fresh sea air in and to take in the astonishing panoramic sea views, from the Island in St Ives across the bay to the Godrevy lighthouse. Why not sit at the table with four chairs, perfect for enjoying alfresco meals with fabulous views? Alternatively, curl up in the gorgeous chairs provided and relax into Cornwall in style. Communal Garden The tranquil communal gardens are situated to the front of the development and provide access down to the private gate which leads directly onto the South West Coast Path. There is also an outdoor shower for communal use within the lovely communal gardens, perfect for washing off after a day on the beach or a morning surf?

Just a short drive from iconic St Ives, the seaside village of Carbis Bay is best-known for its beautiful stretch of pure white sand. With turquoise waters and sheltered conditions, the beach feels almost subtropical and is the perfect spot for a good old-fashioned day by the sea. The beach is also home to the Ocean Sports Centre, so if sunbathing is not really your thing, why not hire a kayak or SUP and get out on the water instead. Or why not treat yourself to a Spa day at the delightful hotel which overlooks the beach and has a fabulous terrace where cocktails can be enjoyed in the Cornish sunshine? Carbis Bay has a small range of local shops and restaurants as well as a fish & chip takeaway and railway branch line. The train journey from Carbis Bay into St Ives is perhaps one of the most beautiful in the country; St Ives additionally makes for a great day out, with plenty of galleries to explore. The quayside town of Hayle also isn't far and is home to activities for the all the family, including a golf and a wildlife sanctuary. The Godrevy Nature Reserve and Penwith Heritage Coast are also within easy reach from Carbis Bay, providing outdoors and watersports plans with even more activities to partake in, including coasteering and birdwatching. Carbis Bay is truly a wonderful holiday location for those wanting to experience Cornwall's breathtaking coastline.
