The Sands Apartments are a prestigious development of contemporary apartments of various designs, ideally positioned to maximise the views across St Ives Bay and convenient for the Blue Flag accredited Carbis Bay beach.


The property

Carbis Sands is a stunning garden apartment which benefits from its position at the western end of this development and affords the property additional windows to the side and two terraces/patios which create peaceful and private sun traps. The apartment is decorated and furnished to an exceptionally high standard where comfort and design are utmost. Relax in one of the leather reclining sofas and enjoy the full Sky Entertainment package which includes Sky Sports or just sit back and enjoy your own music via the Bose Sound Touch system. Why not take advantage of the patios, laze on a sun lounger or dine alfresco, you will be mesmerised by the view and ever changing seascape. Conveniently situated for the Blue Flag beach of Carbis Bay and the scenic (3min) rail link into St Ives makes a stay at Carbis Sands the ideal place to be. Sky Q to master and second bedroom has an integrated DVD player. - Selection of board games, library of books, O.S. Maps and information on the local area. For Families - Complimentary travel cot and high chair available. - We request that guests' provide their own cot bedding. Access - There is level access from the parking area to the lift, Carbis Sands is down 1 floor. Parking - One allocated parking space is provided within the gated car park. Living Area Lounge Area The living area offers a tranquil spot to enjoy the fabulous sea views, whether you are sat out on the patio spot the boats in the bay or sinking back into one of the comfortable electric reclining cream leather sofas. Alternatively, why not take advantage of the entertainments package provided, including a Sony 49" television with Sky and Netflix, a Blu-ray player and PS3 games console with a selection of games and DVDs. In addition, there is complimentary superfast broadband Wifi and a BOSE Sound Touch system with Bluetooth capability for listening to your own selection of music. Luxury Oak flooring is laid throughout the living area of the property, along with co-ordinating contemporary white Caligaris furniture. To help set the perfect ambience the intelligent lighting system allows you to choose the mood. Dining Area The dining area forms part of the open plan living area and is conveniently located next to the kitchen, allowing guests to socialise with those busy preparing in the kitchen. A Calligaris dining table with four matching cream leather chairs can be found, along with a Calligaris sideboard. Entrance Hallway Upon entering you are welcomed into a hallway where Oak flooring is laid throughout. A utility cupboard which houses an ironing board and iron. Kitchen Kitchen The contemporary kitchen forms part of the open plan living area and takes full advantage of the amazing sea views. Ample storage can be found within the gloss soft close units with lots of preparation space for cooking up some culinary delights. There is a large breakfast bar and two leather bar stools, for socialising whilst preparing the meal. It is suitably appointed with an integrated Neff oven/grill, microwave, 5 ring gas hob including wok ring, extractor fan, fridge, freezer washer/dryer and dishwasher as well as Dualit toaster, Kettle and Moulinex hand held blender and liquidiser. The owners have taken care to ensure that you will have all the crockery, glassware and utensils you need in your luxurious home by the sea. For coffee lovers, there is a Nespresso Vertuo to make that lovely espresso to get your day started. Sleeping Bedroom One The spacious master bedroom boasts an en-suite bathroom and is luxuriously furnished. Located at the rear of the property, doors and a large window allow you to take advantage of the light and let the briny air flood in. A sumptuous king size bed is 5000 pocket sprung ensuring a good nights sleep. Matching Calligaris bedside tables with lamps and additional wall mounted reading lamps, a double-mirrored wardrobe with hanging storage and 5 draw tall boy provide ample storage. Blackout blinds and wooden shutters with fitted carpet wool carpet complete the luxurious surroundings for a memorable holiday. A 24"HD LED Smart television with Sky Q to give you the perfect opportunity to catch up on your favourite film. Bedroom Two Also located to the rear of the property has twin Vispring pocket sprung beds, which can be arranged as a super-king (6ft) zip and link bed upon request. There is matching bedroom furniture consisting of a bedside table with lamp, chest of drawers and mirror. A wardrobe provides ample hanging space and you will also find blackout Venetian blinds and wooden shutters, carpeted floor, a 24” television. Double windows with patio door leading out on the enclosed rear patio area allowing for an early morning cup of coffee. Luxury White Company linen is provided in both bedrooms. A selection of high-quality Egyptian Cotton towels comprising of bath sheet, bath towel, hand towel are provided per person. There is also a hairdryer provided for guest use in each bedroom. Bathrooms Family Bathroom The spacious family bathroom is stylishly tiled throughout , with a wash basin, WC, bath with overhead shower, heated towel rail, mirror with vanity light, shaver point and mirrored storage cupboard. Bedroom One En-suite The en-suite bathroom to bedroom one is beautifully spacious and offers a white suite comprising of a large shower enclosure, WC, wash basin, a chrome heated towel rail,large mirror, mirrored storage cupboard and shaver point. A selection of high quality Egyptian Cotton towels comprising of bath sheet, bath towel and hand towel are provided per guest. Complimentary White Company toiletries are also provided in each bathroom. Outside Carbis Sands has the benefit of a private seaward facing patio and also a sunny rear terrace both with garden furniture provided. Seaward Patio The patio is accessed from the living area and adjoins the landscaped gardens and lawn. With a rattan table and chairs for four guests, and Weber Barbeque you can enjoy the lovely views across the Bay whilst dining al fresco. Rear Terrace The sunny rear terrace can be accessed by a side path from the seaward patio or directly from both bedrooms. A rattan bistro table with two chairs, 7ft parasol with two sun loungers are provided for your comfort, whether you plan to catch a few rays during the day or enjoy a quiet drink during the evening, we are sure you will find a perfect spot at Carbis Sands.

Just a short drive from iconic St Ives, the seaside village of Carbis Bay is best-known for its beautiful stretch of pure white sand. With turquoise waters and sheltered conditions, the beach feels almost subtropical and is the perfect spot for a good old-fashioned day by the sea. The beach is also home to the Ocean Sports Centre, so if sunbathing is not really your thing, why not hire a kayak or SUP and get out on the water instead. Or why not treat yourself to a Spa day at the delightful hotel which overlooks the beach and has a fabulous terrace where cocktails can be enjoyed in the Cornish sunshine? Carbis Bay has a small range of local shops and restaurants as well as a fish & chip takeaway and railway branch line. The train journey from Carbis Bay into St Ives is perhaps one of the most beautiful in the country; St Ives additionally makes for a great day out, with plenty of galleries to explore. The quayside town of Hayle also isn't far and is home to activities for the all the family, including a golf and a wildlife sanctuary. The Godrevy Nature Reserve and Penwith Heritage Coast are also within easy reach from Carbis Bay, providing outdoors and watersports plans with even more activities to partake in, including coasteering and birdwatching. Carbis Bay is truly a wonderful holiday location for those wanting to experience Cornwall's breathtaking coastline.
