    “Brilliant holiday home with an amazing view.”

    We had a lovely stay . Nice quality bedding, towels etc. Plenty of parking room.

    We had a lovely stay . Nice quality bedding, towels etc. Plenty of parking room. We stayed in the larger double bedroom which was very nice but the bathroom doors, well there aren’t any! Even after many years of marriage I don’t think they were very nice . They are like something out of a Western cowboy bar! Need to be changed.

Cornerways is a modern property in an ideal location on Boskerris Road, with beautiful coastal views across St Ives Bay. A landscaped garden with sunny patio, a seaward terrace off the lounge and spectacular dedicated home cinema room are just some of the features of this superbly appointed luxury home which will ensure you have a memorable holiday. Highlights - Cornerways is a semi-detached modern property located in Carbis Bay. - Complimentary spa passes are provided for 4 guests at HarSPA at the Harbour Hotel, the passes include 20% discount off spa treatments, food and beverages (excluding offers) Access is valid until the 18th March 2023, Membership is reviewed annually by the owner for the following year and is subject to renewal. Please call the spa on arrival to the property to arrange your entry - Arrival 4pm, departure 10am. - Children and pets welcome. - Regret no smoking. - Sea views from the lounge & Dining areas, Kitchen, master bedroom and second bedroom. Parking - Parking for two cars is available on the drive, along with additional parking for one car in the garage. Living Area Lounge Cornerways has a spacious lounge and dining area. The lounge comfortably seats six people on two comfortable sofas and an armchair, where you can enjoy the 32” LCD television with Freeview, DVD player and complimentary Wi-Fi. There are two sets of patio doors, the first leads to rear patio where you can sit and enjoy alfresco breakfast, lunch or dinner in the beautifully landscaped garden. The second leads to the front sun terrace where you can sit and take in the reaching views across St Ives Bay Dining Room The dining area has an oak table with six leather chairs. If you didn’t wish to eat in there are a number of good restaurants and pubs in Carbis Bay or, within 5 minutes by train, you could be enjoying dinner in one of St Ives' many restaurants. A take-away service is provided by a number of nearby restaurants including Indian, Cantonese, Chinese or Pizza. The famous Becks restaurant is a short walk away and offers the best fish and chips in the area including a take-away service. Kitchen Kitchen The spacious mordern kitchen at Cornerways is accessed from the living area and is fully fitted in light oak, with a double oven and hob, dishwasher, fridge and freezer. Budding chefs will enjoy the superb views and it has all the gadgets you would expect in a property of this quality including coffee machine, microwave even a champagne bucket and glasses for that special occasion. Utility Room This is downstairs on the ground floor and has a washing machine and tumble dryer, ideal for drying the swimming costumes and wetsuits. Sleeping Bedroom One with En-suite The master bedroom is located on the second floor of Cornerways and has far reaching sea views of St Ives Bay and beyond. With a king size bed, free standing wardrobe, bedside tables with matching reading lamps, chest of drawers and a dressing table. This master bedroom, which is carpeted, also has its own en-suite with power shower, sink and WC. Bedroom Two This bedroom is also on the second floor and has sea views, a double bed, built in wardrobes, tallboy chest of drawers, two bedside tables and lamps. Bedroom Three The third bedroom of Cornerways is on the first floor and has two single beds, a wardrobe with both hanging a drawer space, bedside table and bedside lamps. This bedroom leads out onto the rear patio. Luxury white bed linen is provided in all bedrooms. Bathrooms Bathroom One The main bathroom can be found on the second floor and has a modern white suite which comprises of a bath, overhead shower, WC and wash basin. A mirror, glass shelf and storage unit can also be found. Bathroom Two The en-suite to bedroom one, has a shower, wash basin, WC, mirror and storage unit. Bathroom Three This wonderful wet room is located on the ground floor; it has a shower, WC, wash basin, heated towel rail and under floor heating. A selection of luxury towels are provided for all guests and complimentary White Company toiletries are available in all bathrooms. Outside Front Sun Terrace The front patio is accessed from the living area and has far reaching sea views of St Ives Bay and beyond. There is a table with seating for four people. Rear Patio The rear patio can be accessed from both the living area and the third bedroom and is a real little sun trap. It is paved and has a table, six chairs and a large parasol. Cinema Cinema Room A fantastic addition to this well appointed house is the dedicated home cinema room, which can be found on the ground floor. Although St Ives is simply gorgeous, you may find it difficult to leave the house with this great media facility. Your own personal, private cinema room offers a 46" LED TV with surround sound and BT Vision, Play Station III, Blu-Ray DVD player and Ipod docking station.

Just a short drive from iconic St Ives, the seaside village of Carbis Bay is best-known for its beautiful stretch of pure white sand. With turquoise waters and sheltered conditions, the beach feels almost subtropical and is the perfect spot for a good old-fashioned day by the sea. The beach is also home to the Ocean Sports Centre, so if sunbathing is not really your thing, why not hire a kayak or SUP and get out on the water instead. Or why not treat yourself to a Spa day at the delightful hotel which overlooks the beach and has a fabulous terrace where cocktails can be enjoyed in the Cornish sunshine? Carbis Bay has a small range of local shops and restaurants as well as a fish & chip takeaway and railway branch line. The train journey from Carbis Bay into St Ives is perhaps one of the most beautiful in the country; St Ives additionally makes for a great day out, with plenty of galleries to explore. The quayside town of Hayle also isn't far and is home to activities for the all the family, including a golf and a wildlife sanctuary. The Godrevy Nature Reserve and Penwith Heritage Coast are also within easy reach from Carbis Bay, providing outdoors and watersports plans with even more activities to partake in, including coasteering and birdwatching. Carbis Bay is truly a wonderful holiday location for those wanting to experience Cornwall's breathtaking coastline.
